READ THIS: If the rap file that you downloaded was downloaded more than once that means ur gonna get the (1) on the end of your file name so make sure to get rid of the (1) at the end of the the .rap file name. That’s what fixed my rap file.
Essentially if you only need one folder and that file if you have 2 files in 1 folder it enables it or counsels itself out so 1 file turns it on 2 off 3 on 4 be on for off vice versa just have 1 in your OK reboot and refresh and you should be OK dude
I did all this and mine still didn’t work, it jus refused to acknowledge that I had any rap files. BUT I FIGURED OUT WHY. So try this if you can get your rap files to install, I went back to my pc and noticed the rap files look like this “.RAP” so I changed it to lower case “.rap” and then plugged it back into my PS3 slim and back into the psn patch and it noticed the rap files and installed them :-)
@@MohamedHamza-UST- are you on pc or Mac? I think both are the same but on Mac I just click on the file once then it turns blue and the I click on it again and it lets me rename it. On windows I think you just right click and hit rename. It should be making it all caps if you are typing in lower case
I have a question if you don't mind, After activating HEN and installing the files, I can go directly to sign in to PSN to activate the console or should I exit HEN before signing in to PSN ?
Yo when I downloaded SEN the folders inside package installer vanished, I updated and selected full cfw to no avail so I'm reinstalling my CFW.. does anybody no why? I use the latest evilnat CFW.. is there an alternative to SEN? Thanks
Whenever I’m going to install the rap file it doesn’t show anything even though I’ve checked the usb and it has the exdata folder with the rap file in there. Do you know anyway to fix this?

@@MohamedHamza-UST- All .RAP files have to renamed to lowercase .rap. It won't allow you to just rename them lowercase though, you have to change it first, and then lowercase .rap
okay so i’m on HEN and just to make sure we follow everything you’ve done except the SEN enabler correct? and i’ve seen that psn patch doesn’t work with hen but i hope i can try this out and it’ll work! Oh and also do we need to do this for every pkg game we get?
Make a new psn account and a new profile on your PS3 if that doesn't work and you're console banned the only way is too get a new system and next time use the homebrew that helps you go online safer I forgot what it's called but you can easily find out yourself
After doing this on a custom firmware for 4.90, once I turned the CFW mode back on, I no longer have the menus in install package files and can only install from the root folder. Is this normal? It didn't update or anything, the options have just disappeared. Forgot to edit this, all you have to do is hard reboot the system, they come back.

PACKAGE FOLDER GONE FIX! put your ps3 cfw update file on your USB PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP again and simply run it from your XMB settings. It will install like a normal update and my package folder sits in my XMB again like it was never gone!
Dude thank you, i was kinda worried to make this whole proccess and risk getting banned. This saved me a lot of effort, it worked for me, i didn't have to do anything besides having my folder exdata containing the .rap file in my usb.
Great video man! Really straight forwarder and helpful. I just had one issue however. When I got to the part where I had to login to the PSN I had to update my console. I go ahead and do so. But now I can't hard reboot to enable my CFW again. Anything I can do to fix it?

@@iluvzayeyou gotta install psn ninja and delete your history using the app before you sign in every time or you’ll eventually get hardware banned or sum like that. I’m just trying to remember off the top of my memory but I do remember not using psn ninja like 4 years ago cuz I got lazy after a while of playing COD multiplayer and got hardware banned

This method should work on 4.89 firmware and yes you should have a separate account to log on PSN. The local account should work as long as you activate your temporary account on your device. I hope this helps you out some!
Every time i reboot my ps3 i have to install everything from scratch. I used to think ps3 is as easy as ps vita. Pkgj install play done. With ps3 is so difficult its almost unusable. I followed the video instractions but still i have to renew the license to play the games. Do not get me wrong, its a very good video but ps3 mod scene its not for begginers. Thanks anyway.

Tried this, flashed the sen. Rebooted in ofw mode told me I need to update my system when I went to sign in could sign in rebooted system now I can load my Roms. Tried to replace my back up drive my system doesn’t boot tells me to install update. Can find the update file, using rebug. Feel like my system is bricked any solutions? I’m using the right file system and memstick.

Don't use San enabler it will brick your PS3

On cfw, after I installed the pkgs you suggested and created exdata. I didn’t have to do anything else. I think the exdata is all you need.

Tried to replace my back up drive my system doesn’t boot tells me to install update. Can find the update file, using rebug. Feel like my system is bricked any solutions? I’m using the right file system and memstick.
Did all the steps and still didn't work.
Following all steps up to signing in after sen enabler, i go to sign up and it says i have to update the system. Any suggestions?

I just finished Part 6 and ready to sign-in PSN account, it's strange that there is no 'SIGN-IN' icon but 'SIGN-UP', I clicked it but it ask me to update the firmware, please advise how should I do? Thanks!
P.S.: my PS3 is 4.81 and using Webman
