On a more traditional (semi traditional) side, check out Davy Spilane and Phil Hardy. They play traditional Irish instruments but add other elements like Jazz alot. Eluveitie is celtic hard rock (yeah its a thing, normal hard rock with traditional instruments) but they are from Sweden, check out their last singer Anna Murphy, she has an absolutely amazing voice, see: "a rose for Epona" (Eponia is a celt horse goddess hence the word "pony"), and "call of the Mountains"... She's half Irish. Wait...did he say "a blind harper", woah!
I m an Irish music lover. It helped me a lot to form the bound with irish elderlies in my time working in a nursing home in ireland. It s very upbeat and brought their memories back for many times. ❤️

But I must admit that such has quality, and in the 2000s they broke out successfully in Brazil, until mid-2008 you could hear them playing directly on neighboring radios. And as for Enya, she was successful at the same time...I am really an admirer of her, the nostalgia that such songs bring us is awsome...And I am grateful for the big island of the elf at the end of the rainbow.
