Makes me want to get a daily Crown!!! Saw soo many in Japan - yours is too nice bro
thanks bro!! you making me hella jealous with those Japan vlogs
looks sick I just got the hybrid version
congrats man, hope you're enjoying it
Nice ride! I have the Crown without the leather. Did you remove speed limiter?
Cheers! Nah I didn't get the HKS vac I think it's called because I rarely need to go that fast lol
i see you're based in nsw. where do u get aftermarket from? i recently got a grs204 myself haha sweet car but hard to come across local aftermarket parts
You have a really low chance of finding anything local, the only things that will pop up are if you're in the Crown facebook groups and someone happens to sell something.
You're better off buying from Japan like yahoo auctions through Jesse Streeter
Thanks for making this video. Ive watched every Crown video on TH-cam waiting for my GRS204 to be shipped to Canada. So I thoroughly enjoyed watching the video. Im getting the same one but Pearl white.
What would you order from Japan for a new Crown owner?
Thanks! I can completely relate when I was waiting for my Crown to come in and watched every video possible.
Honestly all parts will have to be ordered from Japan. I would personally get wheels and suspension first, and a lip kit if yours doesn't have on already.
@@CorwinCh I got some 20 spoke OEM Lexus staggered wheels 50 offset that I'm powdercoating. Car has stock air suspension already, Canadian roads are super rough. No plans to lower it. And the car has a bodykit already too.
I'm thinking small things? Like Crown floor mats, shift knob, steering wheel, licence plate bracket etc. what else is only in Japan?
@@zacapps5029 stock air suspension? are you sure you got a GRS204 and not a URS206?
license plate bracket is a good touch, you can also get VIP tables, crown door puddle lights, illuminated door sills.
@@CorwinCh yea positive GRS204. Maybe I'm using the wrong word, But it changes to comfortable suspension, And tight sport suspension, slightly lowers the car and raises the car an inch or two I believe?
@@zacapps5029 Ah that's the AVS suspension. It doesn't change the height of the car unfortunately but I believe it tightens it up when you press sport mode like you said.
It's why some coilovers are specifically AVS compatible where as others just remove that function completely.
Hey, did you buy the airsus setup from the official t-demand website?
technically yeah but I had to buy it through a middleman
Where did you get the steering wheel? Real nice addition
Silkblaze steering wheel - got all my parts from yahoo auction jp. Just had a quick look for you but it seems like they might not make them anymore
Hi sick crown! I’m looking for some wheels for mine but can’t seem to find a lot of info on what fits good. What is your wheel + tire setup? Yours look really flush, I want to have something similar
thanks bro, appreciate it!
Wheels: 19 x 9.5 + 5, 19 x 10.5 + 18
Tyres: 235/35, 245/35
however I would go 225/35 for the fronts just for a bit more stretch
Besides rolling your fenders did you do any adjustments to the wheel wells? Mine is on air too :)
@@wurmstaart nop, just shaved the fenders and that's it
How was it taking the exhaust tips out of the rear bumper? Did they just clip out? Or did you need to cut the bumper up?
mine isn't actually just the tips, but it's a custom axle back. I had taken the previous one off and had the shop fab up a new one including the tips and bolted straight on
@@CorwinCh yea I understood the axleback. I was just wondering how it was taking the stock tips off the bumper. Did they need to be cut? Need to be repainted or anything? Or they just disconnected easily? I like the double tip exhaust choice. Is almost ISF like..
@@zacapps5029 oh right yeah, nothing needs to be cut off the top of my head. Get it up in the air and should be easy
Nice car man, How much was the original cost of the car before you imported? thinking of importing one eventually or buying one local. cheerzz
Hey bro, FOB was 750,000 yen. After everything it was around 18k AUD
