Mountain Biking Summit Creek Trail - Chugach National Forest - Alaska: An Audio-Journal

Summit Creek Trail is a rarely trodden backcountry corridor on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula within the Chugach National Forest. Summit Creek is a spur off of the popular Resurrection Pass Trail but is very easy to miss unless you know what you're looking for.

Roundtrip, this route is roughly a 25-mile loop with about 4500' of elevation gain. It is possible to shuttle a short downhill section of the Seward Hwy. The route is certainly highly advanced in regards to technicality, exposure, and aerobic fitness required for completion. Regardless of rider skill, there are numerous mandatory hike-a-bikes.
