I think it would be more heartwarming if Woody sings “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” in the credits, we’ve heard him sing it in Toy Story 2 but it’s incomplete. If Pixar decides to do this in Toy Story 5 then we would be proud and crying in out seats.
It's a nice idea, but i don't understand why everyone's so hung on the idea of returning to Andy, would kinda just make his character alot more sad than Toy Story 3 already did with him giving each toy a unique introduction...as if he knew they were alive. Don't get me wrong I love Andy's ending in TS3, the introductions were clearly for the audience who grew up with these characters..but looking at it realistically it's a little sad watching an almost 18 year old talk about his toys as if he knew they were alive. For me, the entire series about the idea of learning to accept changes in life, Toy Story - Woody learns he won't always be the favourite toy. Toy Story 2 - Woody realises that Andy won't play with them forever, he's growing up. Toy Story 3 - Woody has to learn to let go of Andy. It's time for them to move onto new stages of their lives with college/a new kid. Toy Story 4 - Woody no longer gets played with. He again learns that there's more out there in the world than a kid's bedroom. (kind of unnecessary instalment but i've just always been a sucker for Bo Peep so i will defend this movie with my life)
A neat thing to include in this is have sids old toys show up restored and back in their original forms before he frankensteined them together as a little easter egg
I love your idea. However, in addition to Sid, Hannah, and Lotso, why not have Wheezy, Utility Belt Buzz, Zurg, Al, Stinky Pete, and Amy’s Barbie return? That would be cool. Maybe you could Al reunite with Stinky Pete, only for him to escape as he values children playing with him.
That would be great...Therefore, Disney won't do it. I recently read a fan fic about Sid. It had him change his ways and start repairing and rehousing toys that he finds in his job as a garbage truck driver. (If you remember it was heavily implied that the driver in TS 3 was Sid.)
Please dont take this as plagarism. But I was so inspired by Toy Story 4 so much that I wrote a 6 page idea treatment of a possible sequel or spinoff. It opened with Sid at a therapy session, talking about his toxic family, namely his father, having to move alot and his estranged relationship with his sister, who turned out fine. Later while walking through the carnival, cause he lives in that area now, he runs into Woody. Same situation, Woody is lying next to Bo Peep, playing dead. Sid picks him up and has flash backs of their interaction, however he shakes off the notion that he was ever alive. He then notices he has some wear and tear and takes him back home where its revealed he has a shop, where he manufactures/fix toys as a side gig (as he still works in sanitation). Theres a part where he makes a gun from mold and places it in his holster as his holster as always been empty. He then goes back to the carnival and places woody on a bench. Woody then runs off back to Bo. Sid then runs into a couple with a baby carriage. The couple is revealed to be Andy and his wife and their daughter. They ask Sid for directions to some shop or what have you and they go their seperate ways. But that was my version and I deleted that treatment. Yours sounds cooler with Woody and Sid actually interacting and finally exploring that possibility. Anyways, great vid man.

And we see how the villains have changed a lot and Andy and Hannah have 2 kids tiwn boys together and Sid gives Andy Woody as anniversary present and Andy is like Sid how did you get this and Sids like I have my ways he's the original to basically in the story Sid tells Woody his life story about how he was scared of his toys a first but when he got sick his toys helped him get better and be realized they wasn't bad and when they helped him he helped them and looked for parts and put them all back together and that's how he became a garbage man. I think finding out what happened to the villains is the best way to end toy story for good thanks for the video.

This is an interesting idea If this were to actually be considered making Toy Story 5 I would recommend some tweaking so it makes more sense with the previous movies and this could work as something good to make up for the abomination of a movie that Toy Story 4 was.

Also woody accepts Sid’s offer to reunite with Andy but how will he react to abandoning his lost toy lifestyle ? And how does woody know his friends are probably looking for him since it was never specified that Bo actually told woody that his friends messaged saying they’re going to look for him. And what happens to lotso’s crew of toys and how will the other toys react to Sid befriending the bear that literally tried killing them twice, and does lotso really become a good guy so easily ? Also this is a great base but how will this be stretched to be over 1-2 hours long, some more ideas and scenes might be good to include . Also at the end do Bonnie’s parents find the car or do the toys return it? And does Bonnie realize her old toys are gone and if she does, does she care? And Bo was all about this lost toy lifestyle so is she really open to becoming a toy again to be loved by a child again very soon? If this were to be actually considered there of course would be more context I’m just saying.

So they all join in. Over in Japan, Bonnie and her family visit Mr. Konichi, who once wanted to buy Woody doll from Al. Mr Konichi finally sees Woody, Bonnie finally realizes that she remember what Andy told her about looking after him. Bonnie refuses to let Woody be taken by Mr. Konichi’s hands. Meanwhile, a boy and his dad visit a toys store, Woody, Buzz, Bo and other boys cannot believe whom he saw: it was Andy and his son and Daughter with his wife. And Andy’s son brought all the toys he had with him. Another woody shows up and he acts like Buzz when he was in the first movie. Mr Konichi wants that one since he was rare and mint in the box, never been opened. Later in the movie, Woody and no takes his lost toys with Andy and his kids. They go to a room and see that Andy had all the toys that he had when he was a child as a way to remember and for his kids to place. Woody remembers what he said to Lotso about that Daisy loved him more than any other toy from TS3. Andy loved his toys still. Andy even had prospector, Lotso, and Zurg with them. Those two side with Woody and he sees how even toys can change even if the same ones were replaced. At the end, Bonnie sees that Andy still had woody and Woody decides that the original gang had moved on and still stayed with Bonnie, Woody and Bo go with the new replacement copies with Andy, and Mr. Konichi decides to give the rare woody doll to Bonnie as a Christmas gift. Also at the post credits, Mr. Konichi sees that he had another gift from Al from TS2, a Woody’s roundup complete set. And from Sid, A whole new set of toys to show how mature he became and how he is more of a good man. And TS5 needs and evening title and have an orange screen since TS1 had a blue wall, TS2 in Space, TS3 and TS4 in blue sky again. And if they to TS6 as a final chapter have the title be at night and that can be the finale. If it’s confusing, I can fix it or improve ideas lol. Also I copied and pasted my comment from another channel if that was okay. And last I think it can be revealed that Emily from TS2 was Andy’s mother. And Daisy from TS3 should appear and we see her new Lotso and this Lotso is the good guy and he meets the other prospector who is a good version.
This would be a great story for Toy Story 5 in my opinion and how great it would be to see Andy wear the outfit resembles Sheriff Woody because Andy and Woody both look good in blue jeans 👖 and Sid would still look good in the blue jeans as an adult and to see them as adults hanging out and watching birds outside and listening to them chirping because birds singing is a bright positive thing for a bright positive future
In toy story 3 it's been theorised that the bin man in toy story 3 is actually sid and he owns the business and he also rescues lost toys and has other workers fish out toys and they choose what they do with them like using them to decorate their trucks

I like the idea of never knowing Andy's dad, or even if he had one. I think his mum being a single mother without addressing makes it unique and different to most movies
I think this idea is great however your missing the point where what if Sid’s Mutated Toys were helping him fix other toys that needed parts so Woody would be there to help Sid fix some of the toys he tore apart
I will be honest, I have actually thought of Toy Story 5 being about Woody being snatched up by Sid who is attempting to move past the tramatic event of being scared from the living toys. Woody is not trustful of Sid, but Sid has matured and is trying to have a normal life and Sid even works as a repairman for toys in case they are truly alive.

They all meet again, and Buzz tells Woody that they are about to go to Japan. Woody and Bo think that there is a connection between the lost toys and Japan. Woody remembers the last name. So they all join in. Over in Japan, Bonnie and her family visit Mr. Konichi, who once wanted to buy Woody doll from Al. Mr Konichi finally sees Woody, Bonnie finally realizes that she remember what Andy told her about looking after him. Bonnie refuses to let Woody be taken by Mr. Konichi’s hands. Meanwhile, a boy and his dad visit a toys store, Woody, Buzz, Bo and other boys cannot believe whom he saw: it was Andy and his son and Daughter with his wife. And Andy’s son brought all the toys he had with him. Another woody shows up and he acts like Buzz when he was in the first movie. Mr Konichi wants that one since he was rare and mint in the box, never been opened. Later in the movie, Woody and no takes his lost toys with Andy and his kids. They go to a room and see that Andy had all the toys that he had when he was a child as a way to remember and for his kids to place. Woody remembers what he said to Lotso about that Daisy loved him more than any other toy from TS3. Andy loved his toys still. Andy even had prospector, Lotso, and Zurg with them. Those two side with Woody and he sees how even toys can change even if the same ones were replaced. At the end, Bonnie sees that Andy still had woody and Woody decides that the original gang had moved on and still stayed with Bonnie, Woody and Bo go with the new replacement copies with Andy, and Mr. Konichi decides to give the rare woody doll to Bonnie as a Christmas gift. Also at the post credits, Mr. Konichi sees that he had another gift from Al from TS2, a Woody’s roundup complete set. And from Sid, A whole new set of toys to show how mature he became and how he is more of a good man. And TS5 needs and evening title and have an orange screen since TS1 had a blue wall, TS2 in Space, TS3 and TS4 in blue sky again. And if they to TS6 as a final chapter have the title be at night and that can be the finale. If it’s confusing, I can fix it or improve ideas lol. Also I copied and pasted my comment from another channel if that was okay. And last I think it can be revealed that Emily from TS2 was Andy’s mother. And Daisy from TS3 should appear and we see her new Lotso and this Lotso is the good guy and he meets the other prospector who is a good version.

This would be a great story for Toy Story 5 in my opinion and how great it would be to see Andy wear the outfit resembles Sheriff Woody because Andy and Woody both look good in blue jeans 👖 and Sid would still look good in the blue jeans as an adult and to see them as adults hanging out and watching birds outside and listening to them chirping because birds singing is a bright positive thing for a bright positive future
Like if you think Toy Story should just become a high quality TV series about different toy related stories.
🤗 Sorry to tell you but if Toy Story 5 gets made it's gonna be a Buzz Lightyear movie to make for Lightyear.

In toy story 3 it's been theorised that the bin man in toy story 3 is actually sid and he owns the business and he also rescues lost toys and has other workers fish out toys and they choose what they do with them like using them to decorate their trucks

Premise: A Year has passed since Toy Story 4 and Bonnie is off to Cowboy Camp, when Buzz starts to malfunction Bonnie's mother sends him to Taiwan to be fixed but when Bonnie's toys find out that there is a global recall on the Buzz Lightyear toys they reunite with Woody, Bo Peep, Giggles McDimples, Duke Caboom, Ducky and Bunny and embark on an adventure to rescue Buzz unaware that Woody and Buzz's old arch enemy Lotso is back for Revenge on Woody and Buzz

I like the idea of never knowing Andy's dad, or even if he had one. I think his mum being a single mother without addressing makes it unique and different to most movies

I think this idea is great however your missing the point where what if Sid’s Mutated Toys were helping him fix other toys that needed parts so Woody would be there to help Sid fix some of the toys he tore apart
I will be honest, I have actually thought of Toy Story 5 being about Woody being snatched up by Sid who is attempting to move past the tramatic event of being scared from the living toys. Woody is not trustful of Sid, but Sid has matured and is trying to have a normal life and Sid even works as a repairman for toys in case they are truly alive.
