The first time I saw Dall-e and Midjourney, I thought, that could be a great add-on for blender in few years, but it’s actually already there 🤩
this is HUGE , for game dev and blender artists ,no more endless scrolling for the perfect texture.

A.I. design being in its infancy, it makes sense that you have to go through so many steps to get it ready to run. With how fast technology is growing these days, it’ll probably be a month or two before it’s just a one-click add on.

if you have access to photoshop I know they have a tool for generating normal maps that is pretty good.

Amazing video! This technology is insane and it is free, now I don't have to struggle to build a scene and fine the perfect free textures to work with
I rarely have these moments where I'm thinking "Man I'm living in the future NOW" but this is one of those things. I expected such technology, thsich easily accessable maybe in 5-10 years but it's here already and growing on and on as we speak.
It's kind of scary how good it is and I feel bad for artists and creative souls. It's either going back to the basics of physical art or working with this technology.

Very helpful video specially the texture section. I followed the steps and it works perfectly. I will add that for other Blender addons, when I stall them in a Blender version, they are all set up in the others Blender versions installed in the PC, but not this, it only appears in the one where it was installed

This is honestly incredible and has potential to be a huge game changer. I have a question for you as well though. When creating a seamless texture, is there any way you can go about getting things like normal, roughness, metallic, etc etc maps generates from the texture you just got? I’m not super familiar with the process of creating textures from scratch so is there perhaps some other program or addon I could plug the image into to be able to generate those things?
you use color ramps to get displacement roughness and metallic or use the application materialize

I love A.I. and I love modelling and I also love free textures. What’s better than that? Free A.I. generated textures for my models in Blender. They’d certainly be unique.
Can it generate normal maps though? I mean don’t get me wrong. With how it designs the textures, it could do without normal maps but it would certainly be easier to do stuff if it could generate normal maps for the images.

that resolution is very tricky. Anything above 512 by 512 will require more than 12gb vram (stable diffusion variants are available to overcome this) . Overall a great addon though.

are you using steams blender? i had that isue i couldt resolve it then i tried to install from blenders website and it works with it!
I had this error and it was fixed by installing GIT, which is required for some dependicies (there is a link for it above the dependencies instillation option).
