Hello all and welcome to this speed test comparison between the Apple iPhone 14 Pro and Pixel 7A in this episode we will compare both phones by putting them through a variety of tests to help you see which one is actually faster. iPhone 14 Pro features an Apple A16 Bionic Chip, 6GB of ram, and iOS 16.5. The Pixel 7A features a Tensor G2 5nm processor, and 8GB of ram, and also comes with Android 13. So we are hoping to see a much more powerful CPU and GPU from in the next iPhones, has played the catch up with androids for awhile now, and yes, androids has catch up

Android software tends to not keep its place when there were multiple games loaded up. If you're just doing general apps and social media they stay open no problem even if you do like 15 of them. It's something they put in Android's code to preserve battery life.
Keeping something in the RAM doesn't consume energy. Only the background processes do.

@@IStMl On android keeping something on the ram means that the app keeps running in the background. Thats why android can upload an instagram story while you do something else on your phone. Iphone cant do the same.
it's really isn't Android. It's literally the phone itself. Similar priced phones perform better or equal to the iPhone

Mobile phones are disposable products. After 5 or 6 years latest they are running out of software updates. Regardless if you spend 1500 or 500 $. IMO it is only worth to buy the best value phone. The pixel series show how much real life performance you can get for way less compared to an totally overpriced Iphone.
I love the 7 mostly but I'm envious of people that don't have issues with the FP sensor. It's still a very unreliable experience for me. Miss the 14 Pro unlock but that's about it
7:16 if the google pixel had the last snapdragon chip i would say pretty much would be neck to neck to the iphone the google pixel have a very light and pure software. Not as others companies that have android even on the camare aspect the google pixel have one of the best i think in the market

In Canada, I was able to buy a Pixel 7a (128GB, brand new shipped from Google) for less than half the price of an iphone 14 (pro is not available). I paid $CAD462, taxes and shipping included. It was on sale for $CAD400 which is about $288 USD.
Only the mini series brought me back to ios after 7 years on driod

the only time u will see that the iphone is faster is when gaming or video editing both pixel mand iphone are super smooth ui i have used both and i can confirm.

I have the 14 pro I’ve had it about 5 months and battery is still at 100% 5 months of use
First 6 month almost never drops. After u will see modifications like 1 percent per month

@@superiortoall22 sense the pro maxs have bigger battery it doesn’t drop a lot I have a friend I got a iPhone 14+ like seven or eight months ago and still at 100 and my friends iPhone 12 promax battery capacity is at 63 and His doesn’t die until 2:40pm
I just upgraded from my regular 13 and the battery is much better on the 14 pro max and I love you 120 Hz display over the phone feels more premium
@@wagersled1190 oh I was referring to the battery health, mine is still at 100% even with heavy use and charging. Heavy use that’ll heat up the phone can drop battery health, but so far I’ve been fortunate not to have that issue. I’ll probably make it to the year mark with either 100% or 99% battery health

For multitasking try uploading a video on your instagram and then open other apps. Lets see which phone will upload that story first...
Those are not missed taps, looks like more the UI is temporally unresponsive. You can see clearly you tap perfectly the icons most of the time.

The subtle speed differences your seeing is just animation timing 😂 these can be tweaked in settings. Also your fingers/eyes are a terrible metric for this, one tap is always going to be a fraction of a second behind. There are better ways to go about this 😂
Initially apps arent faster on iphone actually google had added a splash screen before every app so thats why it directly opens on iphone so it might look faster

nick the next iphone SE .. the body of the 11 pro smaller sized, the cams of the 11 (so two cams only) LCD display , 6ram/128gb , a15 chip .. price not more then 500$ ... i tell u, no1 would buy any more andoids

Looks like the 7a has the same problem with having to reload apps that are already open and you navigate back to. This drives me crazy on my 6a. Glad to hear the fingerprint Scan is working better. It's terrible on my 6a.

This speed test doesn't really make sense, the 7A isn't meant to compete with the iPhone 14 Pro.
It's not meant to direct compare, it's a test to see A16 bionic vs Tensor G2.
Why not? It uses the same chip as Pixel 7 Pro. It's like comparing iPhone SE and another flagship.
Flagship chip can be compared with flagship.
