    I think your intuition that Krishnamurti is of the greatest value for us is an important one, because unlike all the other spiritual teachers, he is not satisfied to give you explanations: he wants you to see and understand what is for yourself, and his whole teaching is about us becoming lights unto ourselves so we don't need any teachers or authorities. Apparently this is perfectly consistent with the words of the Buddha who also taught that truth cannot be discovered through following or accumulating the explanations of others: it can only be uncovered through the patient observation and understanding of mind, feeling, life and so forth, which each of us can only do for ourselves. So I find that Krishnamurti never undermines my freedom by making me subservient to his knowledge, because he's always urging me to see. But every other spiritual teacher seems intent on becoming the important person, becoming the authority and source of knowledge, all of which has nothing to do with awareness and understanding of what is. So I really agree with your sentiment about Krishnamurti being in some way more helpful then the others. I would go much further and accuse every iiving spiritual teacher an unconscious spiritual vampire, including Eckhart Tolle, but that's another matter!

    Interesting and nice reaction video..In my opinion J krishnamurthi is one of the greatest thinkers of humanity..what I like about him is the absence of any religious or spiritual hypocrisy and direct focus on what is relevant..He in my opinion was closest to the truth..As for concentration ,I don't know why but I feel most focused when I listen to music or watch a movie..Probably that is meditation for me 😀

    • @ajas7851
      @ajas7851 ปีที่แล้ว

      @spiritualreactions Thanks a lot for your reply.. infact the main essence of life which even JK may not have mentioned is the futility and dangerous influence of western materialism.. the reason being that it is ephemeral and shortlived...furthermore while the west may not admit it, their materialism is decadent in nature and based on perverted and violent ideals like imperialism, colonialism, racism and nuclear damnation (though they falsely claim to represent human rights, democracy etc which they never followed throughout most of history)...
      Hindu philosophy of the East and prominently advaita vedanta and Buddhism may have the answer to the ailments that afflict our modern, western oriented world..
      The day people realise that death is the only truth and that this life is a mirage, that day many problems will have simple solutions including the problem of nuclear war !!!!!

    • @spiritualreactions
      @spiritualreactions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ajas7851 🙌🙌 I could not agree more with what you say. Western materialism is, I'm sure, one of the most damaging influences in our world. "...imperialism, colonialism, racism..." yep, yep, yep. You're right to claim to represent human rights and democracy here in the West is laughable.

    • @ajas7851
      @ajas7851 ปีที่แล้ว

      @spiritualreactions I would also request you since you appear to be a spiritually oriented person with a spiritual background, please do a reaction video on Bhagwan Ramana Maharishi..In my opinion he is one of the greatest spiritual personalities in world history..He became a sanyasi or ascetic and renounced the world at a young age, did penance and meditation in one Arunachala mountain (located in the south indian state of tamilnadu) for many years alone where he attained enlightenment..His spiritual practice is "self enquiry" where one constantly focuses on inner awareness for self realization and transcends the false consciousness of body and mind.. You will also find many answers to existential spiritual questions which remain unanswered to this day...

    Meditation requires such a high threshold of energy. By energy I mean attention without conflict with thought. Every time I'm conflicted or I'm trying to reach something I can never get into that state of deep attention where thought is still and beautiful patterns start forming around in my consciousness.

    • @spiritualreactions
      @spiritualreactions  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I see what you’re saying, but also my understanding is we don’t have to look for our thoughts to be still but almost dissociate from them, realise that they are not us, and let them go about their business without bothering us. Does that make sense?

      @@spiritualreactions osho said, let the thoughts flow you cannot stop it just let thoughts come and go while you just observe by becoming a spectator and there will come a time when you will be in the state of thoughtlessness, increasing this golden time of being thoughtless by practice will bring you closer to nirvana or samadhi/enlightenments.

    When your attention is on 'now' ... For eg. When you play a game, you forget about your 'I' -ness, that means your involvement is total. That's the state you can achieve by practicing everyday ... Jiddumurthy has touched that dimension intellectually, Sadhguru has mastered not just intellectually, he knows total and can help hell lot of people ... He has knowledge of the mystical dimensions.
