    I am allergic to penicillin, highly sensitive to mold, to the extent until recent rebuilding of my immunity, I couldn't even eat water melon. But I've never had any issue with tempeh. It's my favourite fried in coconut oil with a nice spicy sambal, or sautéed in the coconut milk of a soup or curry. I do live and eat it in Indonesia. Great, informative videos, thank you.

    SuperfoodEvolution Thank you for making a straight-forward, factual video. I was recently placed on a piscetarian diet, and have been hunting for non-meat alternatives. This video has give me enough information to both add more non-meat protein to my diet, as well as leading me to do research which has a more specific and narrow focus.

    I can tell you really enjoyed making this video! You have a little extra enthusiasm in your voice 😊! I love to tempeh, unfortunately I don't eat it very often because the only store that sells it in town is a 20 minute drive away with cross traffic that can make it a 40 minute ordeal. I always think of Tempeh as the brie cheese of the vegan world. Such a delicious flavor and I really love it when it's got that white mushroom coat. Oh geez I might be making that crosstown trip today just for a taste of it 🌱 thanks for the video

    Tempeh or tempe (/ˈtɛmpeɪ/; Javanese: témpé, Javanese pronunciation: [tempe]) is a traditional Indonesian soy product that is made from fermented soybeans.[1] It is made by a natural culturing and controlled fermentation process that binds soybeans into a cake form.[2] Here a special fungus is used, which has the Latin name Rhizopus oligosporus, usually marketed under the name tempeh starter.

    • @viviennetobassa7111
      @viviennetobassa7111 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think it always tastes better when fried in coconut oil. It doesn't necessarily taste like mushroom. You can also cook it marinated in soy, ginger, garlic and palm sugar or other marinades. Or you can make Tempeh Penyet which is fried in a tempura batter and to the batter (use rice or tapioca flour) add some finely chopped kafir leaves, a little chilly and some spice. The longer the tempeh is left before cooking, the more it will gain that mushroom taste.

      Though it has an alkalizing effect on the body, lemons are actually very acidic. Candida love sugar Might consider antimicrobials like garlic, rosemary, mint, mugwort, etc.
