I slow walked to a firmer couch after a few years because I could not justify throwing out the down couch since I had spent so much on it....I remember it fondly though ❤️

My elderly parents would especially NOT like to sit on a couch like that, because they wouldn't be able to get out of it.

Thank you for this info! I was considering this sofa and the Ashley Furniture cloud-dupe also. My thinking is since you can unzip the cushion covers, I'd buy some memory foam, cut to size and stuff it in for extra "spring" and form! I have a friend who did this with an old PB slipcover sofa she had and it was genius! Just an idea FYI 💡 😉 😁

I have a petit “cloud” dupe from Wallaroos furniture out on the west coast. It’s super affordable and perfect look! Shipping East was a little pricey but worth it. This dupe is nice for the money. Value city dupe is gorgeous but huge, my Wallaroos petit cloud is in 36 inch blocks, good for smaller apartments. Love the channel, Kiva!

@@bobrose8040 so far, so good! All the covers are removable and washable. That being said, I don’t sit on it much, it’s mostly to look nice. 🤣

I would love to have a sofa like yours and bae but they don’t have a store in Texas . So our RH outlet was relocating and we got a white cloud for $900 😲😲😲 we have yet to see one at this price again. But yes the machine wash of the base and the cushion covers is a plus because we have 4 dogs. It seems like yours is fluffier though!!

I own this sofa from American Signature. Everything KB said is true. I am most impressed by the fact that my niece spilled an entire cup of hot chocolate on the arm of the couch, and i was able to get it out. I also accidentally fell asleep with makeup on and got foundation on the couch. I was able to get it out as well. It does look very slouchy and unkempt after you sit on it. I have to fluff it so that it looks "showroom pretty" when company comes over lol. It is a pain...but it is what it is. I will be ordering a pill shaver because i have problems with pilling on the section of the sofa that i sit on the most. It's a great dupe until the Lord decides to bless me with RH money.

@@tytianayatori3562 I used a carpet/ upholstery cleaner by Bissell. I poured some solution on the arm of the couch, then used the Bissell (which is like a wet vacccum) to suck everything out. It came out like a charm.

Had a white slipcovered sofa while raising my three heathen children! Now that I’m an empty nester, I went with another ‘cream’ colored sofa. Easy to clean. Just don’t use hot water; remember to dry and remove when still a bit damp. Stick with cotton, it doesn’t pill!

I bought the Thomasville Lowell at Costco and it was $2100 and it is HUGE! But it does clean up reallly well even being pure white. We have three kids two dogs and a cat.

I am so in love with the look of this sofa. I don't mind the upkeep (fluffing and de-pilling) as long as it has lasting comfort and will hold up to my husbands marathon weekend sports binges. We currently have a faux leather sectional/recliner monstrosity that after just four years is peeling and dipping. I have to prop myself up with pillows to get comfortable now. Reading and napping on it is not an option for me anymore. Do you think this sofa will do the trick? Also, do you have any issues with the feathers protruding or sticking you?

I recently covered my burgundy velvet sofa with a plush taupe stretch velvet slip cover. It is very nice in the room. The color is light, but not white. It is machine washable. I have a small dog and I would never buy a white sofa. I have a bad back and I can’t sink in. Now I have lots of time to finish decorating, since the wait times are astronomical.

Thanks so much for this video! I recently purchased the Haven from VCF in the color Liv Arctic which is an Eco Performance fabric. I LOVE the look/feel of the sofa. But i started having 2nd thoughts about the fabric, after living with it for a couple of months because it seems to catch alot of lint and hair, etc even though i have a pet free home. Your sofa looks to be the same fabric as mine. So this gives me hope! If you have a different fabric, could you please tell me what it is? THANKS AGAIN!! 💞

I am curious, how often can you sit/lie on the couch before it becomes uncomfortable and you have to fluff it up again? Also, can you do the "full end-of-day flop" onto the couch without it hurting? Do the feathers ever pop out like they do in pillows?

Hi Kiva can you do an update on this sofa? For example how you wash the slip covers (cycle choice (delicate?, warm or cold water, the detergent you choose etc…), I see a lot of viewers asking if you are experiencing the down feathers protruding through the slip covers? Also do you use your Bissell cleaner on this Plush sofa if so can you upload a video on how you steam clean the Plush sofa ? I know you used your cleaner on your dining chairs. PLEASE PLEASE do a video on these questions Kiva!

In terms of cleaning if your sofa an "S" Code? I'm so curious because I just bought my dupe and it says "S" code on my tag and I'm struggling to find an effective way to clean it and want to see if I could do the same thing you did :)
Havertys has 2 versions of this. Their most expensive version is really flat but the $3,000 version is nice. I think they only have the sectional and pit versions.

Love your videos. So happy I found you. One question about the shaver... Overtime will that translate to "wear" looking patches on the fabric? Is there a limit to how much fabric can be shaved before it wears out? (Martindale rating etc)

My husband and I bought our couch from VCF as well and I’ve been wanting to buy a bissell spot cleaner but I’ve been worried about putting water on it ( maybe it would smell weird after it or ruin it ). Do you use the bissell on the cushions? I’m pretty sure we have the same brand or at least it looks the same but we went with a light gray color ( 2 small kids ). Thanks again!

Hi I've watched this video a couple times. And it was definitely a decision maker for me regarding this couch. It took me 2 years to pull the trigger. I didn't get the feathers, but choose to purchase the foam. Reasons: I'm only 52.5", 61 years of age and a back. Foam was easier to get on and off the couch. This particular viewing of your video was regarding cleaning. So my question is did you treat your fabric with anything after purchasing and would you recommend it to aid in cleaning or would just the job? Bissell do

I have this exact couch in a 6 seater and ottoman and it’s great but the pillows delate after a while where can I Buy some down feathers to restuff them . Other then that I have the ivory color as well and I am gonna restore the couch it’s worth it .
