- In todays video we are going to be testing Pottery Barn high performance fabric and really decide is it worth it?!?! I have been wanting a light colored couch FOREVER....but I just didnt know how to make it possible with kids, and pets. Until I found this! I have done tons of test, and I think I have honestly found the best white couch out there. This couch is seriously going to transform my whole living room makeover! I cannot wait to take you guys along on this space while we completely transform it.

Perfect!! I was going back and worth between different swatches for the Big Sur Sectional. The liquid part sold me, the couch we have now soaks up liquids and I told my husband we need a new couch ASAP!

Yessss I was actually planning on doing a Christmas decorating with me when my new tree comes! I wish I could be like the other TH-camrs and put our Christmas content so fast but in all honestly I just cannotttttt decorate for Christmas this early. 😂

I’m debating between another leather sofa and a performance fabric. It’s one thing a little sample versus scrubbing an entire sofa. Which is why I’m leaning towards another leather sofa. Leather sofas have their issue too with cracking and fading.

I have a chocolate lab and a darker frenchie and their hair currently gets woven into the fabric on our current performance linen sofa..you can't even vacuum it out. I was wondering if you let you pups on your new couch and do you have any issue cleaning up their hair? Thank you so much!!
Our lab is now 13 years old and doesn’t get on the couch anymore (thankfully 😂) one of our frenchies still likes to get on it, I don’t completely let them get on it all the time like I use to, but I also don’t kick them off. So if she gets on it I think she knows now that she needs to lay on a blanket. I haven’t had issues with the hair getting stuck in the fabric

FOLEX‼️ I built home years ago and had off White-ish colored brand new carpet. My amazing sweet 6 year old daughter was doing girlish things & she spilled red fingernail polish, I ran to store, bought several recommended products..the only one that worked was FOLEX. I did have to apply elbow grease. You could not detect an accident ever took place. I always have a bottle on hand. Typically after using such a product on fabric…it will attract dirt, but this is one of FOLEX’s Super Powers. It really is a great product.

I'm looking at pottery barn sofas - I have 2 dogs and need high performance fabric. I was thinking I would have to go with leather but then I stumbled upon your video and am now thinking maybe I could go with their high performance fabric after all. Can you give me your honest feedback on this fabric 6 months later? Has it held up to your dogs and baby?

Do you still like the couch and if it has feathers do you notice them coming out. Is it high maintenance where you have to fluff the cushions? I’m looking for a sectional and this is one of my options.
Hii!! I do actually still love it! The feathers do bug me but it’s whatever I can just pick it out and toss it. We have washed the cushions a couple times and looks brand new. Only thing that bugs me is the peeling but I bought a little shaver. I wouldn’t say it’s to high maintenance but it’s definitely not a sit on the couch and that’s it kinda thing ya know. I also think if I didn’t have toddlers there wouldn’t be nearly as much maintenance. As far as fluffing I just turn the cushions around and call it a day. It’s been a year so I’m less picky now ya know what I mean
Any issues so far with the performance fabric you chose? I have seen reviews with horrible pilling issues for the performance heathered tweed. I’m still debating between the heathered tweed and cozy chenille
That is the one thing I did notice that I am
Kinda annoyed about!!! But it’s only on one cushion. It’s weird it does it because the rub count is high. I lovedddd the cozy chenille and probably would have gotten that one but I was worried it was going to be so hot. It was also hard for me to tell what it would look like on a big couch because there was more movement in color so I was nervous about that
Good to know! We eventually chose one of the sunbrella fabrics as the salesperson that helped us told us these are the most durable. Thanks for the update though!

A few months late on this video but I have the York slope deep seat 93" Sofa in Performance Ivory Linen and it is amazing! I have a dog also who loves my couch and as dirty as he gets my fabric is still beautiful. I've even spilled a cup of coffee on it! I do recommend OxyClean stain remover over the Folex, OxyClean works so much better and does not degrade the performance of the fabric.
Ohhhh I didn’t know if degraded it. I’ll have to try it. I agree if something gets on it it definitely wipes clean so easy. It’s definitely work having a white couch even with all the cleaning products but when I do wipe it clean it looks brand new. Thanks for being here!
