I don’t understand why many but not that many people hate Marie, she’s exactly what we wanted 8 yrs (and counting) from the beginning; give Izanami a second chance. Marie is Izanami’s humanity given physical form, just how Zen is Chronos, why are the haters still aren’t understanding who she is, and why she’s a ‘tsundere’!?
I think it’s because people kinda see it as a... how do I put this... okay, listen to this plainly; “A goddess, tsundere, intellectual(somtimes),basically canon romance with the main protagonist.” You kinda get what I mean? I love Marie but on paper that definition makes sense to be bad.

Since these two are reincarnations of the god couple in Japanese Mythology, it’s safe to say it’s canon in Golden even if it’s ultimately fanon due to the player’s choice.😌
Rise was so thirsty for Yu, that I always pick Marie in P4 Golden just because she’s basically Yu’s wife from a past life.😆 If you don’t know what I’m talking about, read the Japanese Mythology of Izanagi and Izanami. Marie is Izanami herself and Yu’s main persona is Izanagi.🇯🇵

dupin9 one of the things persona does a lot is always make the “best friend” the butt of all jokes. Junpei kinda deserves it in the beginning but I feel during the events of the games when Junpei goes through growth the insults should lessen and respect for him should increase. Same for every character. It’s always annoying to see Yosuke be jerked around the same way, except this time he has 3 people that insult him so it’s worse. Not to mention unlike Junpei, Yosuke isn’t much of a jerk in the beginning. He’s just very outspoken and speaks on the main character’s behalf all the time. Then you have Ryuji, a guy you can’t help but feel bad for in the beginning, see get literally bullied by a cat in and out of cutscenes, only to then see he can be an idiot and a dick like the cat and Ann made him out to be. His hearts in the right place, he’s just screaming about how he’s a phantom thief a lot in public and is pretty rude when attempting to apologize to Morgana. Then again that arc is kinda messy so this is all just a special case.

It makes me wanna pick Koromaru or even Teddie (even though his “scoring” is innocently disturbing a bit) in terms of mascots.🙄😂
