Harley products are expensive but cheaper products may be detrimental to the paint job. An alternative that’s safe is dishwasher detergent (not carwash detergent). A good product for paint protection (and that leaves a good shine) is WD 40, an oil and water displacement spray. Have a good one ! Greetings from an Iron 883 lover in Portugal...

Yep..... if it was shiny black that would be one thing, if it’s denim black it’s another. Theoretically, denim is not a color to shine and sparkle but rather to have the dull look. The trick was actually proposed to me by service rep at an official Harley dealership. But whatever each ones preference .... it’s all about being happy with your machine and it’s looks.

Don’t use Windex you will damage your paint, buy all porpuse cleaner for bike or automobile

Not in this scenario for this bike. Windex for glossy paint is bad because it can remove the wax coating. For denim paint it's fine. This is also said by a popular dealer TH-camr: th-cam.com/video/U3kbgFrQAfY/w-d-xo.html

You never wanna use a cleaner that shines denim paint. I recommend you using the denim cleaner from Harley.

Thank you sir, I will say the bottle I got from the Harley dealer works really well also, and it was only about 10 bucks, my bike is garage kept when not riding and gets dusty and such every few days I wipe it down with that stuff and it almost looks washed
