@@BunToomo I used to have it on my duke 125, 1)the bottom end torque changed a lot. 2)no need revv to the top, peak power of engine will get at 6k-8k rpm. 3) Duke 125 is powerless machine, I used to apply both clutch and throttle to climb high elevations. but with rich fueling, just by throttling alone it does the job.
The PowerTRONIC website says both the Lite and the Pro automatically adjust the mixture for temperature and altitude. If that is really the case, why do you need to make manual adjustments using the Pro? If the Lite's single map is equivalent to level 7 (very rich) on the Pro, what happens when I ride to 4000m here in the Andes. Even after exchanging emails with multiple people, including with PowerTRONIC, nobody has yet to explain this to me.
in lite the map is set according to the manufacturer's convenience ... its just like one shoe fits all approach .. so in pro the adjustable 10 maps are designated for different occasion ... which will be more beneficial according to me ... they test lite version on their choice of bike system ... it may not suit well to ur bike and subsequently to different occasion..
@@jls.mp4 Dude the air is thinner at altitude. So you cannot burn same amount of fuel when compared to sea level. You need to lean it out (meter in less fuel) to maintain correct air fuel ratio for a good burn.
@@anirudhhhh what he said is the bike runs already lean at stock level and there's no need to go leaner even if altitude is high as the stock bike already runs too lean.
@@anirudhhhh you are correct and the stock setting isnt lean, the higher you go the lesser are oxygen level and if the fuel isnt in sync with the air levels then you would see a significant drop off is power. Thats the exact problem with the RE 650 twins. Richer fuel mix with settings 8-10 on the ktm adv 390 are significant only when the performance upgrades are made, otherwise setting 7 is the highest you would want to use ( I met with the race dynamics in blore and these details were given by them)
Does this in any way void the warranty of the bike? I own a 2022 390 adventure and plan to fit this onto my bike. Appreciate your help in advance, thanks!
Yup a lot of premature carbon buildup. I think that will happen only at some of the higher settings. +1 or +2 from stock should not be detrimental. Companies definitely lean out the engine quiet a bit to meet emissions.
@@amansrivastava6086 You don't need to remove it before service. You'll face no issue there, just in case of insurance claim or huge problem remove it as well as other accessories like crash guards, aux lights etc
So if you go on lean mode you get a better average however the mixture would be good at higher level when you expect performance so we can play that way soon on my next ride
I installed fuelx pro on my KTM adventure 390 a month ago. After just a couple of days of installation i noticed that the vehicle suddenly stops in higher gears sometimes, also the ride feels hard especially around 5000rpm. Not sure what's wrong, And i know fuelx has some good reviews , just trying to see if anyone of you can help me understand what's happening?
What country are you in? this would effect your fuel Ocatain rating. We have pump 98 95, 91. Higher oct is cleaner burning fuel and you can run slightly more ignition advance. You could have a fouled spark plug.
@@arjunsree87 hey fuel x pro is just working wonders and nothing at fault It was my fuel pump that gave up and which was replaced promptly under warranty Fuel xpro has reduced the jerks and stalling immediately after installation in my bike. And it really is a necessary in adventure 390 acc to me.
even with low fuel economy, I never switched below map 7.
its super fun to ride in rich fuelling mode
How does it feel? Can you describe the difference against stock bike?

Hi, are you still using aew102 pipes on your interceptor? What’s the performance been like? Any drop in mileage, engine performance etc?
Have you also changed front sprocket?

Hi. Looking forward to your guidance. Does the light version improve quick shifting as well?
Nice Vlog!!!..... Did you notice any mileage differences till now?
High altitude needs lean maps. Meaning lesser fuel , so the ideal map for high altitude is map 1 and 2
that makes no sense. stock setting is 3, so you want to make a lean bike run even more lean?

lol, high altitude needs more fuel, coz less oxygen
Does it help the mileage in any way?
Which top rack are you using?

It doesn’t void warranty
Hey, can you share details on where you got installed from?
Lovely video brother. What’s the difference between fuel x pro and ecu?
Are ypu also using a 47 T Rear sprocket?
Hi altitude, air is thin and fuel needs to be leaner, not richer. Also running engine rich in city will make your engine insides very gunky
Yeah after use now got the hang of it thank you for the input

Fuel x is really great…I have been using it in my adv 390 as well.

Hello abishek, is there any significant difference and any idea how it's on continental gt 650.
@@ashiksabu05 it would be great for continental GT, but you would not require it because the torque the GT has is quite sufficient.
You need not map the engine for GT.

Nice bro👍👍
After while,u make vdo on comparison of fuel x pro & powertronic.
Does it have any effect on engine heating ?
it's supposed to lower the temp by 10% according to claims
Hi, can you please let me know if fuelx pro voids the warranty of bike?
Well any mods does void the warranty however my project is for a better ride quality personally and performance focused
@@RajeevAcharyaRidewithRaj thanks! So I suppose removing the fuelx pro before going to service centre would do the trick, right?

Check the spark plug after 1000km, see if the contact turns black cause of richening the mixture
11000 kms done a year back
Great, so no fouling then. Cheers
What is stock setting...what is the impact on mileage

If anything this will increase the life of engine as its not running as hot anymore
