tip for the takeoff - rotate at 80 knots, at 100 knots the nose will come off the ground, takes a little practice but you'll hold that nose up pitch until she comes off the ground.
dont forget to trim the nose down 3 prior to take off
This fucking thing never get old. Thx for sharing
Such a cool aircraft. That looks like a lotta fun.
The F-4 is such a capable platform I'm surprised some countries like Japan didn't keep modernizing them. On the other hand, the F-15 and F-16 can carry out the same missions and better, so if you can afford one, why keep maintaining the F-4... Think I answered my own question :(
Awesome, I love those older Cold War-era planes.
I have the P-51 in DCS (my favorite plane of all time ftw) but I'm too crap to even get it off the ground LMAO. Granted I only tried it a couple times. I'll have to give it another shot.
Gotta watch tutorials, the ones on TH-cam not the ones in game.
5:55 I had that happen to me as well, just out of the blue, i think its a bug. Haven had it since i disabled "Stick Force Blending" in the F-4E special settings.
I've only seen to get this movement when my radar cone is destroyed/knocked off. A simple fix to this is to just trim out the aircraft
@@clydehigdon2418 Radome was intact, it happened in a dive around Mach. Haven't experienced it since disabling "Stick Force Blending" in the special settings.
I assume you're being a jokester when you're being like "that dudes on fire". I assume you know it's the F-4 doing a cartridge start.
If you didn't know . . . well . . . now you do XD
Cartridge Starting is, in simple terms, them shoving an enlarged blank shotgun cartridge into a slot connected to the turbines. And when the cartridge fires up the gas expanding spins up the chamber turbine, in turn spinning up the engines compressors ^T^
Magnificent Phamtom!
Phabulous Phantom
I would love to fly my phantom on pvp but the second you turn the radar on in vr your frames go to like, five a second. It is a cool jet though
Dude just cartridge started 🤣
Plz more dcs devil plz!
ECW?
I get terrible fps on multiplayer with the phantom. Unplayable
You have the radar on which takes most the FPS. They are working on a patch.
I'd play DCS if it wasn't 150gbs lol
Well my folder sits at 360+
Part of my simrig upgrade definitely has to count the dedicated M.2 SSD in the second slot that is exclusively for DCS and iRacing.
I wish DCS was only 150gb, my DCS folder sits at just over 700gb 😂

Israel called the Phantom the Snail, for good reason. So Israel did what they are famous for, making crappy American jets a whole lot better and stronger. They built the plane the Airforce was too afraid to build because it could do what the SR71 could do and whole lot cheaper. So they built one for the Paris Airshow and all the U.S senators pretended not to see it. The new SuperPhantom would have become the A-10 of fighter aircraft. It could super cruise without ofterburners, reach Mach 3 and cost billions less to develop than the SR71, so the Airforce Generals ran for cover and told Boeing and McDonald Douglas not to develop it, all the while the Israel hot shots built one anyway.
So you’re saying Israel’s has never been smart enough or capable enough to make their own fighters 😂 that’s the name of that shitty aircraft they made so time ago.
Better than my tax dollars going half way around the world to Ukraine 🇺🇦.
Your dollars are killing Russians, money well spent
@@Spotted_liver yeah youre definitely lacking some braincells buddy
They are going to your own countries military industrial complex, but who needs jobs and military production anyway
