Evidence was not tainted though. Alan Dershovitz is treating a highly contested point (including at trial) as proven and making it the entire discussion. On the face of it planting evidence is implausible considering logistics. Vannater, who knew little about blood and DNA, framed OJ for some unknown purpose when there was already overwhelming evidence of guilt?

@@kilduce4423 Yea the 2nd glove was obviously lifted from the crime scene and taken to Simpsons house and dropped their by Fuhrman the moment he knew Nicole Brown was the victim. We can be sure of this because theirs no way a person can be wearing or carrying such a blood soaked glove and not leave a trail of blood evidence in both their vehicle and everywhere they walk, yet no such trail exists showing the glove is transported in a bag or already dry.
Further more the basic illogic of a murderer stripping off ONE glove and dropping it by the victim and retaining the other glove while fleeing is lidicously dumb, anyone that dumb would have left a copious trail of evidence behind, heck they wouldn't even have been wearing gloves in the first place.

He was clearly ego driven, and it's possible that he killed his 2nd wife, although I could be wrong. You never know. Innocent people do appear guilty, especially when accused. Perhaps I need to take a closer look. But, a woman must respect boundaries. If she behaved herself she'd be alive today, outliving him to tell her tale of victimhood. Instead, she listened to so-called friends who encouraged her to get her "freedom," (to take half and escape) and she definitely got that freedom. It could be the tragedy of a man wanting more (he already had a wife and kids), and a woman raised with a liberal mentality, naïve to the severity of jealousy. Granted that he cheated on her, no doubt, if she could have maintained her integrity, no trigger could exist to push him across the line. Parents play a role too. Some of the white community can be very irresponsible, especially where financial opportunity beckons, or when it comes to sexual morality, and pass that on to their children who then go out into the world believing their behaviour is safe and normal. If the father really cared about his daughter he would have forbidden the union. Moral of this story is basically, stick to your own kind. I'm not saying this sort of match cannot work. Exceptions always exist, especially in more civilized nations like Britain, but really, it's better to be with someone who has the same outlook.

The jurors saw the motive, evidence, heard witnesses etc. They knew that OJ Simpson was a murderer (that was later ruled by another court in a civil case). One piece of evidence that seemed falsified to them did not give them REASONABLE doubt. As responsible citizens, those jurors were obliged to condemn the murderer as guilty and report a minor crime by a policeman (or whoever they suspected of spraying blood on a sock). Those are two different crimes.

Before and during Mr. Simpson's trial, some things were alleged that did not seem to add up. Allegedly, there were 72 cuts or stab wounds per victim. Each fight with all they had. Supposedly, there were some cuts around the necks that represented a specific gang. Then there was an alleged fight that covered a little distance. It was attributed to Ron Goldman's fight. Even though OJ was a big man all that allegedly happened seem like it required help from someone else. There might have been only a speck or two of blood in O. J.'s vehicle. It may have been planted too. There was no time to clean up the alleged items. There was Allegedly someone else's DNA at the scene. I guess those interested would have to look at a lot of the news and the trial to get a true glimpse of what all was said and how the jury came to the conclusion it did. Mark Furham's actions did not help. Also, it is wrong to convict someone on a crime because it was felt he got away with one. People are convicted on evidence.

there is no thought if you really believe seasoned veteran cops decided to plant evidence on one of the most famous celebrated wealthy lawyered up BLACK human beings who didn't consider himself black -on the planet . Anyone who uses LOGIC in their brain knows it's not reasonably possible to plant that much evidence !~

you can say what you want but the legal team assembled by mr. simpson was very impressive and deadly effective in presenting their case, raising doubt concerning accredited scientific practices - in a case based on scientific evidence, involving blood. they totally and without an reasonable explanation got rid of nicole brown's simpson's stomach contents - unforgivable error.

Yeah some cop probably a domestic abuser themself and a football fan probably didn't want justice for Nicole so they tainted the scene. Listen to her 911 call too how dismissive the dispatcher is of Nicoles concerns and that was another woman too.

The glove didn't fit, but people twist themselves into a pretzel explaining it. Dershowitz is right that OJ would've been found guilty by the jury if the cops didn't plant evidence. But the fact that they planted the evidence calls people to question the entire trail. Why would they plant it? It's because they wanted him to go down, not to actually do justice
