I’ve spent some time with Rabbi Joe in person and he is as genuine as he seems. Full of light and love. And he takes an approach to the Word that we typically do not see in the church. Think of how our Jewish brethren have had 3000+ years with the Holy Scriptures. We have had 200. We are babes in the woods in appreciating the sacred texts. May we ever remember to be thankful to the Jews as Nephi admonishes, for preserving the holy scriptures.

That's a great concern which Rabbi Joe addresses in the video. When he studies a sacred text, he takes the words at their value. He intentionally doesn't read this "in it's context." As a Rabbi, he is analyzing and exploring the intricacies of the text as it is written. As you join us each week, we think that viewers will begin developing better lenses for exploring the scriptures, as they look for a deeper level of understanding. Thanks for your comment! :)
