My story that has always left me baffled, shocked, and slightly terrified till this day: When I was six I had a friend who was 12. She had red hair that ended just below her neck and eyes so dark that they were almost black. She would always come over and knock only twice (important later). When ever she knocked my parents wouldn't react so I would have to open the door. We would play for 2 hrs then she'd leave. Something that left me wondering at that age was that when she hug me good bye, the hug was freezing cold. Then one day when I was 8 she stopped coming over. When I was 12 I almost forgot about her until I heard a knock twice, I didn't think, only walked over and opened the door like it had been an instinct engraved into my brain. There was nobody there and just as I was about to close the door I hear a voice whisper in my ear with a soft and sad voice, "Oh how you've grown Lainey". She was the only one who called me Lainey and nobody else ever heard that nickname. I screamed at the top of my lungs so much that my asthma kicked in. My parents came running in, my mother holding my inhaler. They tried to calm me down but I just kept saying her name over and over again, "Star....... Star........ Star....... Star......", but what my mother said shocked me to the core even to this day, "Why are you saying your imaginary friends name?"
This isn't exactly a 'childhood' story since it has happened since I was very small and its still going on. Here's my story: Sometimes I'll begin talking in complete ribberish. That may seem pretty normal, but here's the thing. I have never stopped and sometimes I'll just feel the need to laps into this ribberish and after I begin I can't stop. I'll talk as if I'm talking to someone, sing as if someone is listening and appreciating it and I'll dance around my room or wherever I am, I can almost feel the person I'm dancing with. The scariest part is that I always seem to be staring at the same spot. Like someone is there and they have my full attention. I'm basically an adult now and I can't see what I'm seeing, but I feel like it's there. That's my scary true 'childhood' story.
When I was 11 I went on a trip with my aunt, uncle, and 3 cousins. I went with them as a reward for babysitting my 10 years old cousin for at least 3 days in a row each week. We were originally supposed to go to North Carolina, but the camp ground was full, so we went somewhere else. When we got there, we set up the camper, had some dinner, and went to bed. We woke up early the next morning to got to the water falls near the grounds. We first went to the looking glass waterfall, and swam to it you know all the typical things anyone would do... Then we went to another waterfall next door. We hiked up about a mile, to see a small waterfallade of giant rocks. There were some Viet Nam students on a work visa there, a few old ladies, and a family of 3. We went down the "trail" that led to the knee deep wading pool, where me and my 10 year old cousin sat on a few rocks. My uncle and 13 year old cousin were behind us. Suddenly, I heard a couple of thuds, like a rock falling, but I looked up and saw one of the Vietnamese work students HAD FALLEN 75 FEET OF THE WATERFALL. he landed practically next to me and my cousin, and I later found out that that same waterfall had taken the life of one of my grandma's friends and many more because people wanted to climb it and get to the top... It was horrifying. It been two years though.
When I was around 8 years old and my sister was 6 we were playing in the living room and our parents was there with us. My sister when to the restroom and we have a long hallway, while she was using the restroom I went to my room to grab a ball. Our bedroom doors are facing each other and I hear a knock from my sister door. I thought it was weird since her door was close so I knocked back, then two knock came from the door so I made two knocks as well. The one thing that scared me is when I heard my sister calling from me in the living room. I look down and see our parents and her there, then three slow hard knocks came from the door and it creep my out. I then see the door knob slowing turning and I ran down the hallway and didn’t tell anyone about it cause I was so freaked out.

My scary story. When I was very young I had an imaginary friend named Jordan. He had dark brown hair, freckles on his nose and cheeks and dark brown eyes that almost looked black. We would always play together if my mum was working or I was alone. He was about 10 or 11 while I was about 6. Sometimes at night he would lay on the floor next to my bed saying he would keep me safe. As I got older he stated to fade from my memory as all imaginary friends do but I would still feel like someone was always sleeping next to my bed. A few years ago when I was 19 I moved into my first apartment and met one of the families living there. A mother, a father and two kids. The girl was Amanda but the boy.... His name was Jordan. And I swear he looked exactly like my imaginary friend and even acted like him. I came home from work one night and the family was going out to dinner, saying hello I walked past them but Jordan tugged on my shirt and said, "you will be safe when you sleep." It shook me deeply but I brushed it off. That night I felt a strange presence and looked at the side of my bed. Sitting on the floor was Jordan with a slight smile as he said, "I told I'd keep you safe." I woke up screaming.
I have 2 stories to share, so here we go!: 1: when I was a baby, around 2 years old, I was at a family members funeral and I started laughing and my mom, grandmother, and aunt were both in the car and asked me why I was laughing and I said, “the man is making funny faces at me”! While I was looking out the window it no one was there. 2: I used to have a friend called the yellow man when I was younger, around 2-5. He used to tell me everything, and he would play with me. My mom even remembers this part because she told me about it, so one day I came to my mom and asked her to put my TV on because Thomas the tank engine was starting. When she turned the tv on, Thomas episodes were just starting. She asked me how I knew this since the tv wasn’t even on to know and I said,” the yellow man told me”
This is something my nan told me: When she was about 10 her best friend had gone for a sleep over her friends brother was home alone and their parent at work. Her brother had gone to the toilet and had somehow been choked. When they all got home my nans best friend went to the toilet but screamed in horror staring at her dead brother with blood all around him her dad came in amd lifted up his head. Blood pored out of his eyes nose and head. But then her dad noticed her was holding a note on the note read 'this is only the beginning'. They called the police and then moved to America. This is a true story.
My scary story: I was about 12 at the time, it was summer and I was staying at my dad's house. My neighbors son came over to play pool with me. We were in the basement, he was teasing me about trying to hit the 13 ball. (My lucky # is 13.) Neither of us had knocked any balls in yet when my dad's tool cart in the corner of the room began to spin wildly and fell over. Being absolutely terrified we bolted upstairs and slammed the door shut. In the panicked moment I had forgotten to turn off the lights down there. He thought I was crazy to go back down, but I slid my way down, plastered to the wall with him behind me. To our horror, we noticed all the pool balls were put away excluding three were still laying on the table: 7-10-13. They went in a straight line directly down the middle of the table. We we fled once again. I didn't remember the light, didn't care at this point. Just before we ran out the house the phone rang. My dad called from work saying he nearly got killed by a forklift operator who didn't see him. Something pushed him out of the way just in time. It was July 10th. I can't begin to give a rational or sensible explanation. It's okay if you don't believe me. If I hadn't experienced it myself, I wouldn't have believed it either. I told my dad what happened. When he went downstairs, the lights were out, he said the table was covered up and the tool cart right in the corner like it always was. He believed me, but neither of us ever felt comfortable going down there again.

When i was 8 years old me and my family went to florida. Once we got their we took a train to get to the place we wanted to go. Me and my sister were so excited that we jumped right on the train but our parents could still see us we were still 5 feet away. When we got on the train the DOORS SHUT BEFORE OUR PARENTS COULD GET ON! So we were all alone on a train with strangers! We started to cry my sister was only 6! And it was a high speed monorail so we were heading god knows where. But we eventually got to see our parents. But I will always remember that as the scariest thing that happened in my life

My creepiest story from when I was a kid is I used to have this reoccurring nightmare about this man staring at me. We were sitting in one of the rooms in my house and he just looked at me really intensely. That was it and it’s really weird cause I still kinda remember what he looked like cause I was so freaked out by it. I don’t believe in supernatural or psychic stuff and it still freaks me out cause I have no explanation for it.

When I was a 10 years old I was returning from a school trip, and the school bus had stoped at a gas station. I was with 4 of my friends inside the bus. The teacher and the bus driver were inside the gas station. Then while I was talking with my friends, my 5 year old cusin was entering the bus, said hello to me and then she had exited the bus and disapeard. I thought that my aunt was there to but there weren't any cars at that gas station. I thought I just imagined that so I asked my friends if they saw a girl saying hello to me and they said they did. That night I got to my aunt's house and asked her if my cusin was that night at the gas station and she said that my cusin was at my grandparents for 3 days. Not even today I know who was that girl.
I'm going to tell you something scary about when I was little, my name is Adam French I used to live in this old apartment, I couldn't get that much sleep I always dreamed about this hybrid dog, part Human and dog, one dream I was in the bathroom with my mom and the hybrid creature killed my mom and me, but this creature apparently turn out to be real, I always told my dad about this creature he always got freaked out I draw the creature and showed him it, he told me he got these weird dreams when there was this guy that had a chainsaw trying to get in, he dreamed about this 3 in a row, but the third one he came in and killed my dad, my dad says he can see figures in that house, Everytime he walks down the stairs he can feel someone near him breathing heavily, that's when me and my dad decided to move to a different apartment, I don't dream about that creature anymore but I swear he was real. My scary story: I had a wild imagination as kid, I'd often come up with stories about ghosts & burglars & they were so convincing to the point where my parents thought I was raped & almost called the police because of my story. Bit this one was real. It was my 5th birthday, I'm a lonely child so my mom made a small cake we ate it & it was all good. She later went into the kitchen to wash the dishes & gave me some of my toys to play with so that I don't disturb her in the kitchen. So I was sitting in the living room with my toys, the kitchen almost 2 meters to my right & the balcony right ahead. As I was playing, I heard a noise coming from the balcony. I looked up & I saw it. It was a gray shapeless figure with glowing white eyes with no mouth or nose. Yet somehow I saw him smirking at me & tilting his head slowly. I don't know if it was standing or floating or what because like I said it was shapeless but it wasn't on the floor of the balcony, it was beyond it as if it was balancing on thin air. I froze a little but then I started screaming & asking for my mom to come because there was a ghost but she yelled at me from the kitchen saying that I should stop making stories. I swore that it was real & she came & said I'll be punished if I was lying. She walked out to the living room & I point at the balcony. She took a look & said there was nothing there. I freaked out, it's still there I can see it. I said: "maybe you can't see it because it's dark & it's night time but I swear it's there". She sighed & walked into the balcony searching all over it while the ghost was still staring at me. But he started staring at her when she raised her head. They were basically facing each other & she still saw nothing. Remember the no mouth part? Apparently it had one. My mom said: "so, where is it?" I couldn't answer I was just looking at that thing in fear & then it started staring at me again only this time a white glowing smile appeared on its face out of no where. It's like it was saying: "what are you going to do now?" I freaked out & started calling for my mom to leave the balcony because I was afraid it was going to hurt her. She wouldn't listen to me & kept asking me to join her & show her that ghost I was talking about. I had no choice but to tell her that I was lying to get her out of there. She did, & started yelling at me while that thing was still there looking at us. I begged her to take me with her to the kitchen but she refused & told me to collect my toys. I started screaming even more & she yelled at me saying that I'm only making the punishment worse for myself. I told her I didn't care & she could take away all of my toys forever but just take me with her. There were no news about anyone that had been murdered or anything but that thing was real.
As a kid I would always imagine things purposely and act like they were in my hands like airplanes and stuff......and I would imagine ghosts too.....I’m not saying I don’t believe u but it could very much be ur Creative imagination as a kid u know? But I do believe ghosts are real

Especially that at that age I had grown up a bit & stopped coming up with stories & came to my concious & realized that my previous stories were made up. Also the fact that the pictures of that Birthday show a huge figure of light standing between me & the balcony (which was incredibly dark I remember the light was broken) & my dad kept saying it was just the camera flash.
Maryam Shaaban so I also have a weird creepy story back in 2006 or some thing I wasn’t sitting on the back seat of my sisters bike and it was like 11:50 pm we were going back home from the hospital I think.....so there’s this building around 4 buildings away from the building I used to live in.....so behind that building was a tree with a seesaw a single seesaw it was a mango tree and while we were riding back home late that night we heard a really pound screeching female scream......and also wat scared us even more was that that place behind the building was pitch black at night and kids were advised not to go back there for god knows why I didn’t know coz I was 6 years old myself....couple of years after we left that place around 6 years after we heard knees that a girl was at the top of that exact building and mysteriously slipped and fell from the roof keep in mind each building was around 7 or 8 floors high and she was with a Friend who was looking the other way as she told the police
So I have a few stories *DISCLAIMER I HAVE HALLUCINATIONS A LOT SO THATS MOST LIKELY THE REASON THESE HAVE HAPPENED EXCEPT FOR THE FIRST ONE* 1. So this isn't really a ghost story or anything but one time I was at the beach with some family and family friends and I was boogie boarding with this one girl I'm pretty sure was my cousin and we were the same age and all of a sudden she goes past me (and btw we weren't far out in the sea we were at like the shore but whatever) and then this huge wave knocks me over and I was choking on water with water in my eyes and I just saw people running over to try to help while I was trying to get up and trying to run to them but they helped me feel better and I didn't die so that's cool 2. So I've seen the IT movies (the old and new one) so many times that it's not scary at all but one night I watched it and woke up at what seemed like 3 am (I went to bed at like midnight) and looked over at the corner and saw pennywise standing there staring at me so I just went back to bed because I knew I was hallucinating 3. So I'm a fan of xxxtentacion ok and this happened recently so I was up late and me and my sister had to sleep in our living room because we were getting work done on our room so she was asleep and I was still awake and I looked out the window and saw x standing in the street (btw I live just on a street not in a neighborhood) and I was listening to his music because I like to listen to music to help me sleep but I just saw him then he was gone and honestly it really scared me (it shouldn't have scared me but whatever) and I started crying and texted my friend about it. Idk how it happened but I was probably hallucinating. And honestly idek why I hallucinate so much if you think you might know why I hallucinate a lot reply because I really wanna know.

Omg i also had a dream about xxxtentacion (im also a big fan) So this dream made me cry sooo much. So in the dream i saw X and his fans were there and he saw me and we started talking. When we were talking he said he wanted to go somewhere but never came back. I asked the people around (his fans) if they saw him or not the laughed and said "are you okay?? He died years ago" then i was like "no i was talking to him infront of you!" Then they ignored and that night i was thinking of him and crying before i went to sleep....i miss him alot.

I was bout 7 or so when this occured. I was a very forgetful child & always forgot to grab a towel while showering. I typically would yell for my mother to bring me one or she would bring me one without me yelling. One day while showering I saw a shadow through the curtain. I thought it was my mom bringing me a towel. I said thank you but got no response. I found that a bit weird considering she always responded. Well, the shadow just stood there. When I looked out no one was there & there was no towel. I tried to push it aside & finished rinsing my hair. When I finished I looked over & saw the same shadow. I jolted the curtain open & again, no one was there. Even to this day I think bout that time. Every now & then I still see it.
I sometimes see a shadow too but I listen to music while I’m showering on my phone and I remember this one time that while my music was playing it stopped so I had to play it and it kinda freaked me out 🥴
My scary story was when I was playing kahoot with my 5th grade friends there were 7people while only 6 where playing no one else was in the class and when we finish the game it said on one of my friends screen be careful tomorrow.
My scary childhood story: When my family and I first moved from England to Wales, my room was the middle one upstairs. Every night from 4 years old, I would stay up late talking to a young girl in my room. She would play with me and mess with a light on my wall. My parents would hear and come see what I was doing, and when I said playing with my friend they would respond "Honey, you're talking to air". To back that it wasn't imaginary -my grandparents were sleeping downstairs and my grandma woke up from hearing a tap on the window, she saw a young girl sat on the windowsill, staring out onto the street. She thought it was me but when she went closer, the girl disappeared. She described the exact same girl I used to play with in my bedroom. A few nights before we moved - I asked the girl why she was there. She simply answered "he won't let me leave". I went to bed and I could hear the doorknobs turning outside my room, I went out and saw evey doorknob turning. My parents found me crying on the top step an hour later.

I have a few 1. One day i was up and it was about 7 pm. For some reason i was facing the hallway you would see if you lived in my old house. It wasn't a dream because i ate there and slept there. Nobody picked me up to stay over. The next morning i found myself laying in my grandmas spare room. 2. When I was little, I suffered sleep paralysis. When i was 6, i had a repetitive dream when i would walk down the hall to my kindergarten and suddenly stop. My friends would turn into my dolls in my closet. I woke up to the sound of rustling in the closet. I found all my dolls had fallen over. I placed them back and went back to sleep in my bed. When i woke up in the morning, all my dolls were in bed with me. 3. We moved into my great grandmas house, because she passed away. R.I.P Crystal Pike 1932-2017. One day i was almost asleep when i heard a plastic toy block fall. I thought nothing of it and fell asleep. The next morning i found a toy block and a tiny dent in the floor.
When I was 12 (I'm 13) I saw a tall black figure with a black fog and ripped clothes with a Jason mask on then the night after that I had sleep paralysis with the same figure at the foot of my bed.
My scary story. When I was about 9 I always just stared at the corner of the house I don’t know why but I did but one time when I looked at the corner of the house I saw two little girls just standing there holding hands looking at me with black eyes smiling but once I looked back they weren’t there.I always had nightmares about them calling out my name to come here or play with us.When I asked my mom about the two little girls my mom started crying because the two girls where my sisters who had died due to a disease way before I was born.
Ya, especially when you have 10 siblings and grew up in a small house with 6 of your siblings (I would say 7 but one died when she was only 1 year old, 3 years before I was born)

My scary story... When I was younger, after visiting my grandad, I remember looking up to the bedroom window and waving goodbye to my Nana. A few years later I told my dad when we were having a "reflective talk" of sorts. This was when my dad told me my Nana had died before I was born. And I described my Nana perfectly.
My story is kind of more funny than scary but at the time it was terrifying for me. Me and my family had gone away for a few days to a coastal area in England. I was probably around 5 at the time and one day we headed out to the beach. On this day at the beach they had donkeys that people could pay to ride & I can’t remember why but I was near the donkeys for some reason. Remember that I was around 5 when this happened so I was very young and very small. Somehow one of the donkeys got free from the others & chased little 5 year old me around the beach & I was scared shitless😂😂

There's a sewer in my neighborhood, me and my sister like to visit it. One day I went out with friends and one of them said he saw something red splash in the water into the sewer... Idk if he was hallucinating or what...
well i wouldn't call it scary but when i was a child and my baby sister was a toddler my drunk father walked into our shared room and growling sounds stared to come out from under my bed and my sister's crib. to this day i have no bloody idea what happened that night. PS we lived in a appartment complex with no pets.
I was taken out by the undertow when I was like 9... I was just playing in the water (always been an excellent swimmer) and then I went under a wave , when my head found air again I was so far out everyone on the beach looked like little spots so I just did what I was told to do in this instance and swam sideways... it took forever & I was so tired but eventually I made it back to shore and found my family- they thought I was a goner & there is nothing anyone could’ve done. Again, thankfully I could swim before I could walk 👌🏻

When I was younger I was a my uncle birthday party I was about 4-5 years old I said to my uncle ex girlfriend that her brother was ok I don’t remember saying any of this she started crying it turned out her brother had died in a car accident when he was in the Scottish police service I didn’t know here brother am now 13 years old This scares the family today I don’t remember any of this happening

Don’t know if it counts but as a preteen I could sometimes sense spirits, usually at old navy. Once when my family was shopping at old navy because we got gift cards and I felt someone watching me. I turned around and right behind me, in the same place as where I felt I was being watched from was a mannequin looking right at me.
when I was little like really little I had a dream that I walked into the bathroom and my sister was in the bath except the bathtub was full of blood and she had no legs she just stared at me hopelessly my sister thinks this is an omen to when her ovary busted and she was laying in the tub bleeding but I wasn't even there and this dream happened years before
One of my earliest memories was for a while my worst. I was around 5-8 (my memories are always a bit off) I was sitting in a field making daisy chains next to a river. My dad had gone off to sort something out since he helped out at the boating society that sailed there but made sure I was a safe distance away. One of my uncles was also there and I think he was supposed to be looking after me. Instead he picked me up and pretended to throw me into the river, over and over. This may not seem scary to you but my dad had taken me there before, making sure to warn me about how cold the waters were. He told me that if I went in then the shock would freeze me and I’d drown quickly. The worst thing was my uncle laughing while I screamed, cried and tried desperately to get away. This is one of my many reasons I dislike that uncle. I know this isn’t terrifying but still.

When I was about four years old, the door to my bedroom was directly adjacent from the door to my newborn baby sister's nursery room. This memory still gives me chills, even now, nearly 22 years later. One night, I remember lying in bed waiting for my parents to come wish me goodnight. My bed sat across the room from my door, and both mine and the door to my sister's room were open. I saw something across the hall in my sister's dark room out of the corner of my eye, so I turned my head to get a better look. I saw a pair of pitch black hands near the foot of my sister's crib, slowly clapping, or more like clasping together, but making no sound. I hid under my covers and quietly waited for my parents to come, which was maybe a minute later. I told them what I saw and they went across the hall to check things out, and they didn't find anything. It was just a couple years ago that I learned what this might have been. A Shadow Person. The shadow person is typically described as perceiving a patch of shadow as a vaguely humanoid figure, but those hands I saw didn't look like just a patch of shadow. They were defined, like a perfect silhouette, with none of the distortion that you might see when you make shadow puppets or cast a shadow from holding your hand up next to a lamp.
the scariest thing that happened to me was being in a car with a drunk uncle driving like crazy 😨😖 I thought I was going to die of a car crash or my dad and uncle if me and brother survived the crash. who knows what would happen to us. that was my scariest moment of my life.
Mine happened a few tears ago. I was staying the night at my grandmas for a few days to help keep her company before my older brother moved in perminantly. She had a huge field and forest as a backyard that was compleatly pitch black at night(important later). The room i was sleeping in had a seat the unfolded into an army style bed. The head of the bed was on the side of the door that opened, with the head of the bed against the wall. One night, i couldn't fall asleep as easily as i could the other nights. Something in my gut kept telling me everything was very wrong. After an hour of lying awake, i found out why. When i turned to lay on my right side, i looked forward to see the door cracked open to about the size a head would fit through. the only thing was it wasnt just hallway, there was a man with wide black eyes, white pupils, and a wide smile that stretched acrossed his face. I was so scared that i couldnt even blink. The man was not even 2 feet infront of me. I could see every wrinkle on his face, and i could even smell his breath, which oddly smelled like fresh mint. After a few seconds of just staring, the man began to slowly push the door open, causing it to creak in a low, eerie sound. Me being paranoid everytime i stayed at my grandmas, I kept a metal bat and hunting knife beside my bed. When the man reached up and put his index fibger over his mouth, I reached back and grabbed the Bat, to my dismay. All i remember is thinking two words, and i think i said it to him but im not sure. "Its you." And my kind went blank.i swung my bat around and slammed it into his head, causing a loud metalic clanking sound. The man stumbled back and ran for the hallway, but my brother heard the sound and came out of his room. All i really saw was my brother tackling him down the stairs, and my grandma calling the police. When the police got there, they asked me a few questions before taking the man and leaving. A few days later i got a call from the police department. The man was a sex offender that had slipped into the house through an unlocked door, which you would have had to be in my back yard to see if it was locked by someone or not. After a while of thinking, i realized thay i had seen a silhouette of a man in the forest earlier that day and brushed it off as a few trees. Now i regret my stupid choice, and never go to bed without checking the locks and windows atleast 4 times.

Oh i have a short scary story ( it happened ) you see i was ghost hunting with ghost hunt apps and i was outside in front of my mom's back window on the side. and i asked the ghost if they can knock anywhere if they are here. seconds later i heard a knock on a glass it was 1 knock and it was behind me and it sounded as if someone was inside my mom's car and knocked on the back window i was surprised because we live with our nanna and her husband that we call Paps died and my dad is the son of our nanna and his brother charlie died from cancer. Little scary story of my own- When I was a kid, my family lived in a large house with a finished basement. It was an open and fully furnished area where my brother and I kept all of our toys, but something always felt off about it. I'd always hear bumps in the night whenever I slept down there with a friend. However, nothing could compare to this one incident. I was about 7 or 8, my brother was 4 or 5. There was a cold, tiny closet beneath the staircase where we kept all of our toys, and we had both gone in to grab something. I can't remember exactly what. However, as soon as we opened the door and turned on the light, we had an unfamiliar man's voice say, "HEY! What do you think you're doing?" We couldn't see who said it. It was loud, angry and almost immediate. My brother and I looked at each other, screamed and ran upstairs without looking back. We told our parents, but they didn't believe us. I never heard the voice again, it didn't sound like any of our old toys, and to this day it freaks me out.
When I was little (Born-8 years old) I lived in an old house (I live in an even older house now XD) Anyways, when I was little, I shared a room with my sister. We had another room that we could have been separate but we liked sharing a room. Between those ages, I've had to call my mom to my room to escort me to the bathroom. Cause every night, I would call my mom, but it wasn't my mom that would come out. This old lady in very old looking clothes would walk out of my parents room and stand above me for a moment before walking through the wall. It scared me half to death. Every time I would bring it up to my sister, she never saw anything when she would get up in the night to use the bathroom... I was the only one that saw her... And my family wonders why I'm afraid of the dark...
Once while sleeping i n my grandparents basement i woke up to see something moving in the room, it stood next to the window and it looked like a black cat, but it was more like a shadow. Then it kept moving and at one point it jumped over me onto the back of the couch, i could feel it moving. and i was pretty scared. If my grandparents had a cat this might make sense, but they didn't. The next morning i checked the window to make sure it was closed. It was and I'm not sure what happened that night. It could've been a dream.
Another i had for some time was i would have a nightmare, wake up and see my nightmare in my room, it always disappeared after a few seconds. The worst was a creepy doll, i can't remember the dream at all but i remember seeing that doll on my closets top shelf. I've learned how to stop this from happening, whenever i wake up from a nightmare i have this very strange feeling that goes away in a few seconds, and thats when i see things. To not see anything i just keep my eyes closed until the feeling leaves.
If u noticed I tell a lot of stories (Not made up) On videos of this channel This happened 2 years ago I went on a road trip And we stopped at a Motel And up in the distance I saw a house and I asked one of the cleaning crew people a story of that house and they said “That is the slaughter museum” I asked what that was and they said when this was first opened the house was part of the Motel and people could go Stay there if they paid enough money and every year on March 16th someone who stayed there was murdered and it happened like that for 15 years and people just accepted it as a coincidence People can go visit it as a museum and see all the rooms and all that stuff We slept on the top floor for two days and one night (the first night) I heard a scream coming from the slaughter museum and there was a light on in one of the windows No one heard it but me and so I walked out of the room and saw someone running out of the door of the slaughter house holding an axe and it was running towards the Motel and I ran back inside the room and felt like the person was running towards our room and I heard a tap on the window and when I looked out a man was standing there He looked old but very scary and was staring at me and I went back to my bed and went back to sleep and the next morning he was still looking at the window of our room and I told him to f••k off or I’ll call the cops and he didn’t move so I showed him my phone and I was ready to press call for 911 Still didn’t move and my mom asked me what was going on and I told her what just happened and when I opened the curtains to show her he was gone And she seemed to believe me and she called one of the cleaning crew ladies and she asked me “What is today’s date” And I realized it was March 16th and she said For the past 5 years people have been reporting that guy staring at them through their windows but when they go to show him to someone else he will be gone
My 3 scary stories... Story 1 - The Lamp and the duck When I was 1 we had moved into our present home. I was in the old bathroom upstairs (currently my bedroom) my mum said whilst I was in the bath "let's get ducky" she didn't need to move because it floated and dropped next to me. That night my mum was telling my dad in the living room. My dad didn't believe in this stuff. The lamp started flickering and he went to unplug it but... It wasn't plugged in. No chamce of loose wires or circuits. Story 2 - The Old Lady I was about 2 or 3 but I had just learnt to speak. I always saw an old lady in the corner sat there. Not her face though just her legs and a skirt. The sort a office worker would wear. I still remember saying to my mum "what about the old lady's tea?" Story 3 - The voices I was 12 (now 13) and it was 2:56AM I was cleaning my room. My mum knew and I heard something say behind me "HOPE!" I thought it was my mum and said "yeah?" I heard her downstairs she said "What's wrong?". it's still my bedroom she never said anything and I slept in her room for the rest of the Christmas Holiday. I was home alone with my dog. I was 11. I was watching omargoshtv and he said on the video "you excited for the video?" my dog growled in the corner of the room the same one as wherw I saw the lady. It said "Yes" I was home alone. Age 12. My nan recently passed away and I heard her voice say "Hope can you cpme here sweety?" I was crying and knew nobody was home and that she was dead. My dog was wagging her tail and acting like she did when my nan was around her.
I was probably about 4 or 5 when for some reason I was eating out of a bowl in bed. When I finished eating i put the bowl on my lap to go to sleep but a woman's voice said "put it on the shelf" (referring to the shelf behind my bed) and I said "who said that?" and and she said "an angel". It really creeped me out, especially since I didn't even know what an angel was then.
My story is that when i was 7 i was in a house my family called the farm house me and my cousin mike saw a toy snake we picked it up and then we left then we asked my mom whos it was she didnt know what we were talking about we when up stairs to get it then we saw the toy move mike ran but i stayed and saw it change in to a demon i ran off and tolled everyone but k Nobody belived us my uncle and gramma when to see they didnt find itand to this day the sake still scares me.

On one Sunday morning, (at my mothers insistence) we packed up and went to church service. Being about 6 at this time, I got bored real quick and decided to explore. My choice destination, the basement kitchen under the church. I went there often during services and even occasionally “helped”(as much as a child can) in cooking there as my mom loved volunteering. I played the whole service and returned just before it ended. As per usual my mom volunteered to go and cook lunch for the end of the service and I went with her until we reached the door, where I remember being so terrified and overwhelmed I burst into tears and begged my mom not to go in there even though I played in that room less than half an hour ago. Being very concerned about me, my mom stayed outside to consolidate me when we saw smoke rising from the cracks in the door. My mom called 911, who came and put out the fire that started in the kitchen and almost burned the place to the ground. To this day, I still have occasional bouts of this overwhelming terror, even in going to places I’ve been before, or where I grew up in and felt safe in. This would usually lead me to book it out of there, only to later find out that something had happened there just moments after I left.
My story isn't really scary but it scared me when it happened. It was just paranormal. When I was younger I had a fever. I was freezing even with three blankets piled on top of me. I felt someone rubbing my arms as if trying to warm me up as I was going to sleep. When I looked, no one was there. Ever since that fever it seemed like someone is watching over me. When I got hot I felt someone blowing on me. It scared me so I would hide under the covers and still feel it. About a year ago it stopped. I almost miss it.
Hey Boomy Boomy Like That. then your both lucky and unlucky you don't live in Iceland ( and some other countries but i am just using Iceland) because in the summer like now the sun does not set so it is bright all 24 hours but in the winter it can be completely darknes around 20 hours of the day (I am not sure but that is at least how it feels since the darkest day of the year the sun doesn't come complete up)
My story that has always left me baffled, shocked, and slightly terrified till this day:
When I was six I had a friend who was 12. She had red hair that ended just below her neck and eyes so dark that they were almost black. She would always come over and knock only twice (important later). When ever she knocked my parents wouldn't react so I would have to open the door. We would play for 2 hrs then she'd leave. Something that left me wondering at that age was that when she hug me good bye, the hug was freezing cold. Then one day when I was 8 she stopped coming over. When I was 12 I almost forgot about her until I heard a knock twice, I didn't think, only walked over and opened the door like it had been an instinct engraved into my brain. There was nobody there and just as I was about to close the door I hear a voice whisper in my ear with a soft and sad voice, "Oh how you've grown Lainey". She was the only one who called me Lainey and nobody else ever heard that nickname. I screamed at the top of my lungs so much that my asthma kicked in. My parents came running in, my mother holding my inhaler. They tried to calm me down but I just kept saying her name over and over again, "Star....... Star........ Star....... Star......", but what my mother said shocked me to the core even to this day, "Why are you saying your imaginary friends name?"

This isn't exactly a 'childhood' story since it has happened since I was very small and its still going on. Here's my story:
Sometimes I'll begin talking in complete ribberish. That may seem pretty normal, but here's the thing. I have never stopped and sometimes I'll just feel the need to laps into this ribberish and after I begin I can't stop. I'll talk as if I'm talking to someone, sing as if someone is listening and appreciating it and I'll dance around my room or wherever I am, I can almost feel the person I'm dancing with.
The scariest part is that I always seem to be staring at the same spot. Like someone is there and they have my full attention. I'm basically an adult now and I can't see what I'm seeing, but I feel like it's there.
That's my scary true 'childhood' story.

When I was 11 I went on a trip with my aunt, uncle, and 3 cousins. I went with them as a reward for babysitting my 10 years old cousin for at least 3 days in a row each week. We were originally supposed to go to North Carolina, but the camp ground was full, so we went somewhere else. When we got there, we set up the camper, had some dinner, and went to bed. We woke up early the next morning to got to the water falls near the grounds. We first went to the looking glass waterfall, and swam to it you know all the typical things anyone would do... Then we went to another waterfall next door. We hiked up about a mile, to see a small waterfallade of giant rocks. There were some Viet Nam students on a work visa there, a few old ladies, and a family of 3. We went down the "trail" that led to the knee deep wading pool, where me and my 10 year old cousin sat on a few rocks. My uncle and 13 year old cousin were behind us. Suddenly, I heard a couple of thuds, like a rock falling, but I looked up and saw one of the Vietnamese work students HAD FALLEN 75 FEET OF THE WATERFALL. he landed practically next to me and my cousin, and I later found out that that same waterfall had taken the life of one of my grandma's friends and many more because people wanted to climb it and get to the top... It was horrifying. It been two years though.

My sister when to the restroom and we have a long hallway, while she was using the restroom I went to my room to grab a ball. Our bedroom doors are facing each other and I hear a knock from my sister door. I thought it was weird since her door was close so I knocked back, then two knock came from the door so I made two knocks as well. The one thing that scared me is when I heard my sister calling from me in the living room. I look down and see our parents and her there, then three slow hard knocks came from the door and it creep my out. I then see the door knob slowing turning and I ran down the hallway and didn’t tell anyone about it cause I was so freaked out.

My scary story.
When I was very young I had an imaginary friend named Jordan. He had dark brown hair, freckles on his nose and cheeks and dark brown eyes that almost looked black. We would always play together if my mum was working or I was alone. He was about 10 or 11 while I was about 6. Sometimes at night he would lay on the floor next to my bed saying he would keep me safe. As I got older he stated to fade from my memory as all imaginary friends do but I would still feel like someone was always sleeping next to my bed. A few years ago when I was 19 I moved into my first apartment and met one of the families living there. A mother, a father and two kids. The girl was Amanda but the boy.... His name was Jordan. And I swear he looked exactly like my imaginary friend and even acted like him. I came home from work one night and the family was going out to dinner, saying hello I walked past them but Jordan tugged on my shirt and said, "you will be safe when you sleep." It shook me deeply but I brushed it off. That night I felt a strange presence and looked at the side of my bed. Sitting on the floor was Jordan with a slight smile as he said, "I told I'd keep you safe." I woke up screaming.

When she was about 10 her best friend had gone for a sleep over her friends brother was home alone and their parent at work. Her brother had gone to the toilet and had somehow been choked. When they all got home my nans best friend went to the toilet but screamed in horror staring at her dead brother with blood all around him her dad came in amd lifted up his head. Blood pored out of his eyes nose and head. But then her dad noticed her was holding a note on the note read 'this is only the beginning'. They called the police and then moved to America. This is a true story.

My scary story: I was about 12 at the time, it was summer and I was staying at my dad's house. My neighbors son came over to play pool with me. We were in the basement, he was teasing me about trying to hit the 13 ball. (My lucky # is 13.) Neither of us had knocked any balls in yet when my dad's tool cart in the corner of the room began to spin wildly and fell over. Being absolutely terrified we bolted upstairs and slammed the door shut. In the panicked moment I had forgotten to turn off the lights down there. He thought I was crazy to go back down, but I slid my way down, plastered to the wall with him behind me. To our horror, we noticed all the pool balls were put away excluding three were still laying on the table: 7-10-13. They went in a straight line directly down the middle of the table. We we fled once again. I didn't remember the light, didn't care at this point. Just before we ran out the house the phone rang. My dad called from work saying he nearly got killed by a forklift operator who didn't see him. Something pushed him out of the way just in time. It was July 10th. I can't begin to give a rational or sensible explanation. It's okay if you don't believe me. If I hadn't experienced it myself, I wouldn't have believed it either.
I told my dad what happened. When he went downstairs, the lights were out, he said the table was covered up and the tool cart right in the corner like it always was. He believed me, but neither of us ever felt comfortable going down there again.

My creepiest story from when I was a kid is I used to have this reoccurring nightmare about this man staring at me. When I was a 10 years old I was returning from a school trip, and the school bus had stoped at a gas station. I was with 4 of my friends inside the bus. The teacher and the bus driver were inside the gas station. Then while I was talking with my friends, my 5 year old cusin was entering the bus, said hello to me and then she had exited the bus and disapeard. I thought that my aunt was there to but there weren't any cars at that gas station. I thought I just imagined that so I asked my friends if they saw a girl saying hello to me and they said they did. That night I got to my aunt's house and asked her if my cusin was that night at the gas station and she said that my cusin was at my grandparents for 3 days. Not even today I know who was that girl.

I'm going to tell you something scary about when I was little, my name is Adam French I used to live in this old apartment, I couldn't get that much sleep I always dreamed about this hybrid dog, part Human and dog, one dream I was in the bathroom with my mom and the hybrid creature killed my mom and me, but this creature apparently turn out to be real, I always told my dad about this creature he always got freaked out I draw the creature and showed him it, he told me he got these weird dreams when there was this guy that had a chainsaw trying to get in, he dreamed about this 3 in a row, but the third one he came in and killed my dad, my dad says he can see figures in that house, Everytime he walks down the stairs he can feel someone near him breathing heavily, that's when me and my dad decided to move to a different apartment, I don't dream about that creature anymore but I swear he was real. My scary story:
I had a wild imagination as kid, I'd often come up with stories about ghosts & burglars & they were so convincing to the point where my parents thought I was raped & almost called the police because of my story. Bit this one was real. It was my 5th birthday, I'm a lonely child so my mom made a small cake we ate it & it was all good. She later went into the kitchen to wash the dishes & gave me some of my toys to play with so that I don't disturb her in the kitchen. So I was sitting in the living room with my toys, the kitchen almost 2 meters to my right & the balcony right ahead. As I was playing, I heard a noise coming from the balcony. I looked up & I saw it. It was a gray shapeless figure with glowing white eyes with no mouth or nose. Yet somehow I saw him smirking at me & tilting his head slowly. I don't know if it was standing or floating or what because like I said it was shapeless but it wasn't on the floor of the balcony, it was beyond it as if it was balancing on thin air. I froze a little but then I started screaming & asking for my mom to come because there was a ghost but she yelled at me from the kitchen saying that I should stop making stories. I swore that it was real & she came & said I'll be punished if I was lying. She walked out to the living room & I point at the balcony. She took a look & said there was nothing there. I freaked out, it's still there I can see it. I said: "maybe you can't see it because it's dark & it's night time but I swear it's there". She sighed & walked into the balcony searching all over it while the ghost was still staring at me. But he started staring at her when she raised her head. They were basically facing each other & she still saw nothing. Remember the no mouth part? Apparently it had one. My mom said: "so, where is it?" I couldn't answer I was just looking at that thing in fear & then it started staring at me again only this time a white glowing smile appeared on its face out of no where. It's like it was saying: "what are you going to do now?" I freaked out & started calling for my mom to leave the balcony because I was afraid it was going to hurt her. She wouldn't listen to me & kept asking me to join her & show her that ghost I was talking about. I had no choice but to tell her that I was lying to get her out of there. She did, & started yelling at me while that thing was still there looking at us. I begged her to take me with her to the kitchen but she refused & told me to collect my toys. I started screaming even more & she yelled at me saying that I'm only making the punishment worse for myself. I told her I didn't care & she could take away all of my toys forever but just take me with her. There were no news about anyone that had been murdered or anything but that thing was real.

Maryam Shaaban so I also have a weird creepy story back in 2006 or some thing I wasn’t sitting on the back seat of my sisters bike and it was like 11:50 pm we were going back home from the hospital I think.....so there’s this building around 4 buildings away from the building I used to live in.....so behind that building was a tree with a seesaw a single seesaw it was a mango tree and while we were riding back home late that night we heard a really pound screeching female scream......and also wat scared us even more was that that place behind the building was pitch black at night and kids were advised not to go back there for god knows why I didn’t know coz I was 6 years old myself....couple of years after we left that place around 6 years after we heard knees that a girl was at the top of that exact building and mysteriously slipped and fell from the roof keep in mind each building was around 7 or 8 floors high and she was with a Friend who was looking the other way as she told the police

1. So this isn't really a ghost story or anything but one time I was at the beach with some family and family friends and I was boogie boarding with this one girl I'm pretty sure was my cousin and we were the same age and all of a sudden she goes past me (and btw we weren't far out in the sea we were at like the shore but whatever) and then this huge wave knocks me over and I was choking on water with water in my eyes and I just saw people running over to try to help while I was trying to get up and trying to run to them but they helped me feel better and I didn't die so that's cool
2. So I've seen the IT movies (the old and new one) so many times that it's not scary at all but one night I watched it and woke up at what seemed like 3 am (I went to bed at like midnight) and looked over at the corner and saw pennywise standing there staring at me so I just went back to bed because I knew I was hallucinating
3. So I'm a fan of xxxtentacion ok and this happened recently so I was up late and me and my sister had to sleep in our living room because we were getting work done on our room so she was asleep and I was still awake and I looked out the window and saw x standing in the street (btw I live just on a street not in a neighborhood) and I was listening to his music because I like to listen to music to help me sleep but I just saw him then he was gone and honestly it really scared me (it shouldn't have scared me but whatever) and I started crying and texted my friend about it. Idk how it happened but I was probably hallucinating. And honestly idek why I hallucinate so much if you think you might know why I hallucinate a lot reply because I really wanna know.

I was bout 7 or so when this occured. I was a very forgetful child & always forgot to grab a towel while showering. I typically would yell for my mother to bring me one or she would bring me one without me yelling. One day while showering I saw a shadow through the curtain. I thought it was my mom bringing me a towel. I said thank you but got no response. I found that a bit weird considering she always responded. Well, the shadow just stood there. When I looked out no one was there & there was no towel. I tried to push it aside & finished rinsing my hair. When I finished I looked over & saw the same shadow. I jolted the curtain open & again, no one was there. Even to this day I think bout that time. Every now & then I still see it.

My scary childhood story:
When my family and I first moved from England to Wales, my room was the middle one upstairs. Every night from 4 years old, I would stay up late talking to a young girl in my room. She would play with me and mess with a light on my wall. My parents would hear and come see what I was doing, and when I said playing with my friend they would respond "Honey, you're talking to air".
To back that it wasn't imaginary -my grandparents were sleeping downstairs and my grandma woke up from hearing a tap on the window, she saw a young girl sat on the windowsill, staring out onto the street. She thought it was me but when she went closer, the girl disappeared. She described the exact same girl I used to play with in my bedroom.
A few nights before we moved - I asked the girl why she was there. She simply answered "he won't let me leave". I went to bed and I could hear the doorknobs turning outside my room, I went out and saw evey doorknob turning. My parents found me crying on the top step an hour later.

1. One day i was up and it was about 7 pm. For some reason i was facing the hallway you would see if you lived in my old house. It wasn't a dream because i ate there and slept there. Nobody picked me up to stay over. The next morning i found myself laying in my grandmas spare room.
2. When I was little, I suffered sleep paralysis. When i was 6, i had a repetitive dream when i would walk down the hall to my kindergarten and suddenly stop. My friends would turn into my dolls in my closet. I woke up to the sound of rustling in the closet. I found all my dolls had fallen over. I placed them back and went back to sleep in my bed. When i woke up in the morning, all my dolls were in bed with me.
3. We moved into my great grandmas house, because she passed away. R.I.P Crystal Pike 1932-2017. One day i was almost asleep when i heard a plastic toy block fall. I thought nothing of it and fell asleep. The next morning i found a toy block and a tiny dent in the floor.
When I was 12 (I'm 13) I saw a tall black figure with a black fog and ripped clothes with a Jason mask on then the night after that I had sleep paralysis with the same figure at the foot of my bed.

My story is kind of more funny than scary but at the time it was terrifying for me. Me and my family had gone away for a few days to a coastal area in England. I was probably around 5 at the time and one day we headed out to the beach. On this day at the beach they had donkeys that people could pay to ride & I can’t remember why but I was near the donkeys for some reason. Remember that I was around 5 when this happened so I was very young and very small. Somehow one of the donkeys got free from the others & chased little 5 year old me around the beach & I was scared shitless😂😂

I was taken out by the undertow when I was like 9... I was just playing in the water (always been an excellent swimmer) and then I went under a wave , when my head found air again I was so far out everyone on the beach looked like little spots so I just did what I was told to do in this instance and swam sideways... it took forever & I was so tired but eventually I made it back to shore and found my family- they thought I was a goner & there is nothing anyone could’ve done. Again, thankfully I could swim before I could walk 👌🏻

One of my earliest memories was for a while my worst.
I was around 5-8 (my memories are always a bit off) I was sitting in a field making daisy chains next to a river. My dad had gone off to sort something out since he helped out at the boating society that sailed there but made sure I was a safe distance away.
One of my uncles was also there and I think he was supposed to be looking after me. Instead he picked me up and pretended to throw me into the river, over and over.
This may not seem scary to you but my dad had taken me there before, making sure to warn me about how cold the waters were. He told me that if I went in then the shock would freeze me and I’d drown quickly.
The worst thing was my uncle laughing while I screamed, cried and tried desperately to get away.
This is one of my many reasons I dislike that uncle.
I know this isn’t terrifying but still.

When I was about four years old, the door to my bedroom was directly adjacent from the door to my newborn baby sister's nursery room. This memory still gives me chills, even now, nearly 22 years later.
One night, I remember lying in bed waiting for my parents to come wish me goodnight. My bed sat across the room from my door, and both mine and the door to my sister's room were open. I saw something across the hall in my sister's dark room out of the corner of my eye, so I turned my head to get a better look.
I saw a pair of pitch black hands near the foot of my sister's crib, slowly clapping, or more like clasping together, but making no sound. I hid under my covers and quietly waited for my parents to come, which was maybe a minute later. I told them what I saw and they went across the hall to check things out, and they didn't find anything.
It was just a couple years ago that I learned what this might have been. A Shadow Person. The shadow person is typically described as perceiving a patch of shadow as a vaguely humanoid figure, but those hands I saw didn't look like just a patch of shadow. They were defined, like a perfect silhouette, with none of the distortion that you might see when you make shadow puppets or cast a shadow from holding your hand up next to a lamp.
the scariest thing that happened to me was being in a car with a drunk uncle driving like crazy 😨😖 I thought I was going to die of a car crash or my dad and uncle if me and brother survived the crash. who knows what would happen to us. that was my scariest moment of my life.

Mine happened a few tears ago.
I was staying the night at my grandmas for a few days to help keep her company before my older brother moved in perminantly. She had a huge field and forest as a backyard that was compleatly pitch black at night(important later). The room i was sleeping in had a seat the unfolded into an army style bed. The head of the bed was on the side of the door that opened, with the head of the bed against the wall. One night, i couldn't fall asleep as easily as i could the other nights. Something in my gut kept telling me everything was very wrong. After an hour of lying awake, i found out why.
When i turned to lay on my right side, i looked forward to see the door cracked open to about the size a head would fit through. the only thing was it wasnt just hallway, there was a man with wide black eyes, white pupils, and a wide smile that stretched acrossed his face. I was so scared that i couldnt even blink. The man was not even 2 feet infront of me. I could see every wrinkle on his face, and i could even smell his breath, which oddly smelled like fresh mint.
After a few seconds of just staring, the man began to slowly push the door open, causing it to creak in a low, eerie sound. Me being paranoid everytime i stayed at my grandmas, I kept a metal bat and hunting knife beside my bed. When the man reached up and put his index fibger over his mouth, I reached back and grabbed the Bat, to my dismay. All i remember is thinking two words, and i think i said it to him but im not sure.
"Its you."
And my kind went blank.i swung my bat around and slammed it into his head, causing a loud metalic clanking sound. The man stumbled back and ran for the hallway, but my brother heard the sound and came out of his room. All i really saw was my brother tackling him down the stairs, and my grandma calling the police.
When the police got there, they asked me a few questions before taking the man and leaving. A few days later i got a call from the police department.
The man was a sex offender that had slipped into the house through an unlocked door, which you would have had to be in my back yard to see if it was locked by someone or not. After a while of thinking, i realized thay i had seen a silhouette of a man in the forest earlier that day and brushed it off as a few trees.
Now i regret my stupid choice, and never go to bed without checking the locks and windows atleast 4 times.

Little scary story of my own- When I was a kid, my family lived in a large house with a finished basement. It was an open and fully furnished area where my brother and I kept all of our toys, but something always felt off about it. I'd always hear bumps in the night whenever I slept down there with a friend. However, nothing could compare to this one incident.
I was about 7 or 8, my brother was 4 or 5. There was a cold, tiny closet beneath the staircase where we kept all of our toys, and we had both gone in to grab something. I can't remember exactly what. However, as soon as we opened the door and turned on the light, we had an unfamiliar man's voice say, "HEY! What do you think you're doing?" We couldn't see who said it. It was loud, angry and almost immediate. My brother and I looked at each other, screamed and ran upstairs without looking back. We told our parents, but they didn't believe us. I never heard the voice again, it didn't sound like any of our old toys, and to this day it freaks me out.
When I was little (Born-8 years old) I lived in an old house (I live in an even older house now XD) Anyways, when I was little, I shared a room with my sister. We had another room that we could have been separate but we liked sharing a room.
Between those ages, I've had to call my mom to my room to escort me to the bathroom. Cause every night, I would call my mom, but it wasn't my mom that would come out. This old lady in very old looking clothes would walk out of my parents room and stand above me for a moment before walking through the wall. It scared me half to death. Every time I would bring it up to my sister, she never saw anything when she would get up in the night to use the bathroom... I was the only one that saw her...
And my family wonders why I'm afraid of the dark...

Once while sleeping i n my grandparents basement i woke up to see something moving in the room, it stood next to the window and it looked like a black cat, but it was more like a shadow. Then it kept moving and at one point it jumped over me onto the back of the couch, i could feel it moving. and i was pretty scared. If my grandparents had a cat this might make sense, but they didn't. The next morning i checked the window to make sure it was closed. It was and I'm not sure what happened that night. It could've been a dream.
Another i had for some time was i would have a nightmare, wake up and see my nightmare in my room, it always disappeared after a few seconds. The worst was a creepy doll, i can't remember the dream at all but i remember seeing that doll on my closets top shelf. I've learned how to stop this from happening, whenever i wake up from a nightmare i have this very strange feeling that goes away in a few seconds, and thats when i see things. To not see anything i just keep my eyes closed until the feeling leaves.

I went on a road trip
And we stopped at a Motel
And up in the distance I saw a house and I asked one of the cleaning crew people a story of that house and they said “That is the slaughter museum”
I asked what that was and they said when this was first opened the house was part of the Motel and people could go Stay there if they paid enough money and every year on March 16th someone who stayed there was murdered and it happened like that for 15 years and people just accepted it as a coincidence
People can go visit it as a museum and see all the rooms and all that stuff
We slept on the top floor for two days and one night (the first night) I heard a scream coming from the slaughter museum and there was a light on in one of the windows
No one heard it but me and so I walked out of the room and saw someone running out of the door of the slaughter house holding an axe and it was running towards the Motel and I ran back inside the room and felt like the person was running towards our room and I heard a tap on the window and when I looked out a man was standing there
He looked old but very scary and was staring at me and I went back to my bed and went back to sleep and the next morning he was still looking at the window of our room and I told him to f••k off or I’ll call the cops and he didn’t move so I showed him my phone and I was ready to press call for 911
Still didn’t move and my mom asked me what was going on and I told her what just happened and when I opened the curtains to show her he was gone
And she seemed to believe me and she called one of the cleaning crew ladies and she asked me
“What is today’s date”
And I realized it was March 16th and she said For the past 5 years people have been reporting that guy staring at them through their windows but when they go to show him to someone else he will be gone

My 3 scary stories...
Story 1 - The Lamp and the duck
When I was 1 we had moved into our present home. I was in the old bathroom upstairs (currently my bedroom) my mum said whilst I was in the bath "let's get ducky" she didn't need to move because it floated and dropped next to me.
That night my mum was telling my dad in the living room. My dad didn't believe in this stuff. The lamp started flickering and he went to unplug it but... It wasn't plugged in. No chamce of loose wires or circuits.
Story 2 - The Old Lady
I was about 2 or 3 but I had just learnt to speak. I always saw an old lady in the corner sat there. Not her face though just her legs and a skirt. The sort a office worker would wear. I still remember saying to my mum "what about the old lady's tea?"
Story 3 - The voices
I was 12 (now 13) and it was 2:56AM I was cleaning my room. My mum knew and I heard something say behind me "HOPE!" I thought it was my mum and said "yeah?" I heard her downstairs she said "What's wrong?". it's still my bedroom she never said anything and I slept in her room for the rest of the Christmas Holiday.
I was home alone with my dog. I was 11. I was watching omargoshtv and he said on the video "you excited for the video?" my dog growled in the corner of the room the same one as wherw I saw the lady. It said "Yes"
I was home alone. Age 12. My nan recently passed away and I heard her voice say "Hope can you cpme here sweety?" I was crying and knew nobody was home and that she was dead. My dog was wagging her tail and acting like she did when my nan was around her.
I was probably about 4 or 5 when for some reason I was eating out of a bowl in bed. When I finished eating i put the bowl on my lap to go to sleep but a woman's voice said "put it on the shelf" (referring to the shelf behind my bed) and I said "who said that?" and and she said "an angel". It really creeped me out, especially since I didn't even know what an angel was then.
My story is that when i was 7 i was in a house my family called the farm house me and my cousin mike saw a toy snake we picked it up and then we left then we asked my mom whos it was she didnt know what we were talking about we when up stairs to get it then we saw the toy move mike ran but i stayed and saw it change in to a demon i ran off and tolled everyone but k
Nobody belived us my uncle and gramma when to see they didnt find itand to this day the sake still scares me.

I think someone is trying to kill me at school a board almost crushed my head and one day i was riding my scooter and i felt somthing kinda pushing me and i fell directly to a moving car or it was a coincidence the scooter might be a coincidence but tge board one is more than a coincidence WHO THE HECK TRYS TO KILL AN INNOCENT CHILD
On one Sunday morning, (at my mothers insistence) we packed up and went to church service. Being about 6 at this time, I got bored real quick and decided to explore. My choice destination, the basement kitchen under the church. I went there often during services and even occasionally “helped”(as much as a child can) in cooking there as my mom loved volunteering. I played the whole service and returned just before it ended. As per usual my mom volunteered to go and cook lunch for the end of the service and I went with her until we reached the door, where I remember being so terrified and overwhelmed I burst into tears and begged my mom not to go in there even though I played in that room less than half an hour ago. Being very concerned about me, my mom stayed outside to consolidate me when we saw smoke rising from the cracks in the door. My mom called 911, who came and put out the fire that started in the kitchen and almost burned the place to the ground. To this day, I still have occasional bouts of this overwhelming terror, even in going to places I’ve been before, or where I grew up in and felt safe in. This would usually lead me to book it out of there, only to later find out that something had happened there just moments after I left.
My story isn't really scary but it scared me when it happened. It was just paranormal. When I was younger I had a fever. I was freezing even with three blankets piled on top of me. I felt someone rubbing my arms as if trying to warm me up as I was going to sleep. When I looked, no one was there. Ever since that fever it seemed like someone is watching over me. When I got hot I felt someone blowing on me. It scared me so I would hide under the covers and still feel it. About a year ago it stopped. I almost miss it.
In the night I feel like in the dark some ones there looking 😫😨😱😵
This is why I sleep during the day and stay up all night, so I don't see anything scary in my room at night.
Hey Boomy Boomy Like That. then your both lucky and unlucky you don't live in Iceland ( and some other countries but i am just using Iceland) because in the summer like now the sun does not set so it is bright all 24 hours but in the winter it can be completely darknes around 20 hours of the day (I am not sure but that is at least how it feels since the darkest day of the year the sun doesn't come complete up)
