I own a B-turtle, and I do pull it with my e-bike. It's a great way to go on holiday and gives an amazing sense of freedom while still having room for creature comforts. I can bike all day and then set up and watch a movie before a comfy night's sleep!

You could easily get another bigger lightweight flexible solar panel or two and a MPPT booster controller to add them on top or separately with a cable and adapter plugs right to your ebikes battery.

In effort to yet further improve they might add electric trailer wheel hub drive motors to help push , and or provide power ? , .
for 4 grand I could build something a gazillion times better... what's the point of a tow along if it can only carry 50 lbs I took my regular MTB to Gettysburg from DC for a July 4th week & another 16 miles up the mountain each evening to the michau forest to camp... I carried 80 lbs on the bike plus a backpack I wore fully loaded... when I convert my bike to E bike capability the tow along will carry 300 lbs
Check out Paul Elkins videos. He developed a similar bike camper years ago.

Great. But they must have full suspension. Otherwise everything inside the tralier (food and other stuff) would shake too much.
If the camper was an actual tear drop 💧 shape which has the best aerodynamic shspe (with suspension like you said) Then the wind resistance might be low enough to keep from blowing all over the road and feeling a giant wind sail behind you causing 50%+ increase power usage.

@@UweBraasch I'm referring to water container, usable and waste for a start! In new Zealand, day trips are possible but to stay over at night needs to be at a campsite / camp grounds, or motel even to be ok unfortunately. Not allowed to stay overnight by the beach, not allowed unfortunately. Those were the days :-(
@@gaviny-w3569 ok, in germany we live in a so-called gray area, camping is only allowed on private property or campsites. But we don't camp at all, so we sleep everywhere except in nature reserves. I prefer to stay at campsites

Ok, I'm in New Zealand, old school..it was usual in the pass to actually camp by the beach enjoy the fresh air, enjoy the night sky, the come morning, pack up carry on, unfortunately now under government situation, that is not possible to do unfortunately. The odd thing is - it is ok for the locals to litter the place, but it is very strange, if the tourist does same thing, the locals are up In arms, complaining! It doesn't make sense! Unfortunately now it is difficult to actually camp out anywhere, except in a campground grounds unfortunately.electric bike or push bike. Trailer used to be ok for the basics, now not even close unfortunately :-(
