So Bricky, you basically fostered an interest in the 40K universe in me almost singlehandedly and last night I decided to make an impulse purchase of this game. So glad I did because purging heretics has never been so fun.
I know its such an "Actually" moment, but actually placing low ranked loot at top of the shop is very useful, the most important stat on your gun is the base level of your base which is easily seen in grey rarity, if you see a grey gun with 360+ is always worth to buy.
@@Hagosha That only goes for the loot you get at level 30 though. In lower levels you can get a higher rated item with completely lopsided statuses, like a melee weapon that has incredible numbers on everything else but a 30% on damage (happens to me constantly).
"Would you kick a puppy for 5 billion" is one of the worst questions to ask, because that is 10 digits of money where most middle-low end houses are 6 digits of money According to a study, the *median* salse price of a house is 430k Where 5 billion can be looked at as 5,000,000k I think most people should say yes to this question, for the fact that there are 10 numbers of money

On the one hand every daemonhost I've fought has been....fine. But I'm playing the only class that can utterly reliably tank one. On the other I've only encountered one I'm SURE couldn't have been dodged unlike in the past where that was nearly all of them.
I wish I was there to inform Bricky during his rant that its filtered lowest to highest because the the top pick will raise your minimum rating you can get, or else its a lot slower.
just as a small tip, with the ironhelm thunder hammer, the best way to kill crowds is using a charged heavy as unlike the crucis the charged heavy goes through multiple enemies if they're soft targets, instead of bouncing off the first hit
Bricky talking about his business methods and how he doesnt mind sex work are some of the reasons i love this channel so much and im willing to support him. Hes very cash driven but it never feels like a grift.
My favorite way to play a Veteran right now is to go full in on the left tree and use a knife. You become a whirlwind of attacks that stack bleed on bleed. Dodge back and forth with like 4 meter dodges.
Cool to see this game getting to the point where it's less bad. Was a fun romp at launch, but good lord it had some major annoyances. Good stress relief though, even though min-maxing was an absolute chore and pretty much skipped that and went with weapons that were fun.
I cant wait till Bricky gets comfortable enough and/or tricked into playing a Maelstrom mission or Auric mission and gets scared by the army of shit that wants to crawl down his throat!
I swear I heard "would you hunt a puppy" and not "would you punch a puppy" which got infinitely more concerning when puppy was asked to be replaced with "baby"
It's a matter of scale. One can be "poor" and greedy. One can be wealthy and not. The wealthier you are the harder it becomes, but once you are actively harming others for the profit motive. Thats greed...
@ErebosGR might very well depend on ones definition of wealthy. Mine was more abstract as to set up the spectrum. I'm sure bricky could be considered... wealthy, but I don't think his actice choices are causing harm. Could he give things to charity? Sure. Is he so wealthy that the loss would be unnoticed? Unlikely... Tldr... Mo' money, Mo' ethical dilemmas. ;p
@@lewiskoluk8749 I doubt Bricky is wealthy, and by "wealthy" I mean producing generational wealth that potentially his kids and grandkids would enjoy. Making enough money on TH-cam to live comfortably without a "day job" is not wealthy.
This game is great but: - The opening tutorial should have each character exhibit a unique attribute that separates them from the others, like why can't the Psyker use their abilities right away? All it shows is all 4 can shoot and use a shovel, nothing that immediately is like ''Yo your a Elf! Use that bow, boi! or Dwarf! Imma'gunna cut you off at the knees!'' like Vermitide.
Would you recommend this game to someone whose only knowledge of warhammer comes from If the emperor had a TTS box from a few years ago? Or does it require prior knowledge to really understand?
Funny how he talks about the game needing more of a narrative, that's basically what Vermintide 1 and 2 were; a bunch of missions that were loosely connected plot wise, which had pre-set boss battles at the end of certain strings of missions, before eventually you unlock the final mission which is the big boss battle. If they could somehow bring something like that back into Darktide, maybe as an event or a big update, I think it'd elevate the game even further.
Just like Cyberpunk. If the game came out in a state it was in now, it would've been no problem aside some smalls issues here and there. Would've been the GTA V for the next generation. But... here we are.
I wish I could have fun with this game but after 9.4 hours of the game I have not been able to complete ANY mission, you need the full stack to play the game. It is unplayable if you are not with friends everyone else runs around like headless gretchin.
Rarity sorting is probably the way it is due to how weapon min maxing works. Essentially, you have higher odds of purchasing a profane(white) weapon, due to level/rarity limitations. You look into the shop, spot a 380 profane weapon and decide whether to buy it or not. Meanwhile weapon of a higher rarity will probably be worthless to you, since its actual stars will be around 340-350 with 50 more points added via some blessings. And anything with stats below 370 is automatically junk when it comes to min maxing. Personally, I am not a fan of that sorting even if I understand the reasoning behind it. Because there are SOMETIMES very good weapons that have above profane rarity, so I still have to scroll down for them. So in the end it feels more like a change for the sake of a change. Useless.
Lasgun is great with decent people cause single target damage, projectile ones are great for dealing with the ogryn who constantly gets in the way cause you just shoot through them and do reduced damage rather than no damage at all
Vets are the hardest to level as they are heavily dependent on their weapons but at the end they are strong because their abilities make weapons amazing. Because of this they are bloated until you start getting choice rolls. Of the two laz melts large targets and autogun melts groups this is because laz does a ton of damage to a single target while most autoguns do less individual damage but can hit multiple targets each shot. Laz in my opinion is cooler but I also have a shredder build.
God the rock literally never stops being hilarious. Every time I throw it and turn someone’s rib cage into powder is just as funny as the first time.
In the game, right? Right?
can't wait until Ogryn players get used to the rock to the point they can countersnipe snipers with it
Really hope someone makes a "Bonk!" sound effect mod for it.

Not really, how the stats are disriputed on the gun is also very important as some stats are more important then others
@Torguemada yeah, but typically speaking, higher rating = higher stats.
@@Hagosha That only goes for the loot you get at level 30 though. In lower levels you can get a higher rated item with completely lopsided statuses, like a melee weapon that has incredible numbers on everything else but a 30% on damage (happens to me constantly).

Bricky throwing bricks is epic lol.
Having it sorted low to high is because the grey rolls in the shop are usually a higher base-stat roll than everything else. Emphasis on usually.
