    The part about timeframes at 20:00. You can move the scroll bar and both slide and expand/contract the time frame. The horizontal scroll bar about 1/8 of the way up and immediately above the tabs. Good job.

      @VerrilloTrading  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VerrilloTrading If you go to the 20:00 minute mark in the split screen. In the right screen follow the menu down to the blue market scanners folder. Just to the left and slightly down in the left screen there is an arrow with a corresponding one on the other side of the chart. In between there is also a vertical bar. You can grab the bar and expand/shrink the time period or if you grab to the left of the vertical bar you can shift the time period. You may have to select from the pink options in time frame to get it to work right. I start with daily/5 minute. It works great as you can slide the bar over in the morning and see the previous day when normally the whole right side would be blank and waiting to fill in as the day goes on. I hope this helps and makes sense.

IBKR has ridiculous amounts of customisation which, fortunately I'm used to in applications, but it's overload generally! Hello, great video! A quick question on TWS chart. If I have live orders, the order lines would appear on the chart. The thing is, when my order price is far from the going prices of the instrument, the bars would be crunched to be flat since the chart somehow needs to include the live orders, which shows a big range of price with lots of blank space. Is there any way to turn off the live orders on the chart? Thanks!

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a setting to toggle the order display on a chart. At the top left of your chart select Edit > Global Chart Configuration. Then scroll down and find 'Order Display', uncheck 'show live orders' and that should remove the display. In the case that you want to keep the order display, it can be fixed or optimized. One option is to make sure you are on an appropriate bar period depending on how far the orders will be placed. If you are on a 1 Day historical chart, your bracket will not distort the vertical range as it would if you prompted the same bracket on a 1m intraday chart.

      Don't overthink it. A moving average is based on price data. Making it always lagging behind price, I think traders give it too much precedence. The reason it changes it because the moving average is based on the bar time frame selected.
