  • The new bike party isn’t stopping yet - today, we have the Yeti SB165. It’s been updated with a new geo and an MX setup. It departs a bit from how most Yeti’s tend to ride - but in a really good way for the category. So stick around to see what it’s all about.

    You summed up my big bike mullet experience exactly. Owned a nomad v6. At speed on loose which is all of AZ, like Maverick I felt unsafe. Ended up picking up a used enduro frame and moved on. That being said, the 5010 I don't feel the same and is fun but speeds are slightly lower.

    Does this update correspond with the rest of the yeti line up making the rider feel more centered on the bike? Is it more of a neutral riding position? The previous yetis (130/150/165) required to weigh the front more. I noticed the updated sb165 still has pretty short chainstays.

    • @bikersedge
      @bikersedge  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don’t think they ride all that differently from the previous generation. I didn’t find the previous yetis to be out of the norm in terms of riding position. Most long and slack bikes require some weight over the front end. In fact all bikes should have a good amount of weight over the front end. Most folks ride way too far back.
