You can't lock out the main/adult account which is dumb
It needs passcode between profiles as kids can just change to other profile
I'm not happy about this change. TH-cam Kids is by far the most daily watched app on our smart TV. We've already taught our son that he's not to touch regular TH-cam. That is for grown ups only. This will definitely confuse him for a while. And what about locking down adult profiles? What about the guest profile? We need more reassurance those workarounds won't be accessible by our children.

So is youtube kids also going away on tablets/ipads? There’s no safeguard for kids not accessing the parent profile? If so, im gonna just be deleting TH-cam off all our tvs and their devices. I don’t want them watching on my profile to get access to content they shouldn’t be seeing. Did google devs never consider that possible unintended workflow?

How do you prevent a child from switching to normal youtube though... Since you cant use a child's youtube kids account inside the child user on cromecast.

Ok. Where do I set password / PIN on Parental profile that is now shown with kids profilen? This must be a feature when you close the TH-cam Kids app, kids can just switch freely If there is no PIN.. Good thing with stand alone app like TH-cam kids was that If you didnt want the kids to access adult profile, you didnt download the TH-cam app!
There is no way to lock the adult account, this is a masive oversight, sort it out YT!
