I'm so hyped for the Remake! The gameplay shown looks really good. The atmosphere, which is the most important part looks phenomenal. I'm happy. You look absolutely stunning here, too. Soooooo pretty!
@@NemesisLacroix yeah, for sure. I can definitely see the model complaint It seems like Bloober is listening to feedback, like how they made James look younger after the backlash on the older look in the earlier trailers, so here's hoping for a little tweaking.
@@Metalguy86 In some shots she looks okay, in others she looks like a ps3 character model with no definition in her face when shes in the graveyard. After watching it a few times I think the problem is the lighting in the graveyard more then her character model. In other shots her face has more definition and more shadow cast on in, in the graveyard her and James look a bit blown out along with the environment their in, it should be much more gray and gloomy in that shot but everything so lit up and washed out even the headstones don't really have shadows being cast by them. If its a lighting issue then that can easily be tweaked by October... Her character model might still need a tweak tho... at least her brows, god I hope they micro blade her brows down, if nothing else on her character model can be changed in time I hope it's the brows they pick.
Love ur content and i def agree angela’s voice acting since it removes all her anger and changes it to this “perfect victim” thing making her sound sad and nice but imo i dont have a problem with her face or her not being attractive if anything i find it weird to judge her attractiveness considering her entire plotline 😭 if anything this face fits her well she actually looks 19 than a 28 year old woman and genuinely looks tired
i don't think anything i said was towards her "attractiveness" it was just that she looks disney-fied and too baby-face like, as well as maria. there really isn't an issue with it at all. just a personal critique that shouldn't be taken too seriously. i feel like a lot of the women in this game have a more 'innocent' type of face that doesn't really connect with me for the atmosphere of being INSIDE silent hill and depicted in james' spiral into madness.
i also didn't judge her attractiveness at all, just a design flaw. never did i say anything about making her "attractive" for the player/consumer. not sure why this has so many votes when this just isn't true as to what i stated. makes me think you guys do not watch the entire video.
It was Team Silent's creative decision to have angela be a 19 year old, who looks 30, and has an infantile voice. Her now looking her age is a reinterpretation. Not faithful, and misses the point if this is supposed to be faithful as they have been stating the entire time.

i still dont understand why Bloober gets so much hate from the SH community. (This was true even before SH 2 remake was a thing). Layers of Fear 1 and 2, The Observer, Blair Witch in my opinion are ICONIC horror games. Is it because they are "walking simulators"? So what! I like them. lol. I think Bloober does immersion horror VERY well. Also, I should point out that their games are rated VERY high. I admit, I hated The Medium. But that's just me. So why are they hated especially among older survival horror fans? Bloober inspired a whole popular sub-genre on Steam and Itchi. Visage, Infliction, Madison, The Park, From The Darkness, anything by Emika Games are all inspired by Bloober's direction of "urban horror walking sim". These are AMAZING horror games. Bloober has done way more for videogame horror than anything else in prob a decade. I get not everyone likes the direction, but I would say the majority of horror gamers do. I also need to point out that Layers of Fear is considered one of the best horror games of all time. Def not THE best, but on almost every list. Both by reviewers and regular reddit horror fans. I further need to point out that prior to Bloober, the big complaint was too much action-horror. That the horror genre was getting flooded with games that focused too much on combat. And even that beloved IPs such as Silent Hill were getting too combat-y. And now, it's not enough fighting in modern horror games? Soooo.....can anyone just be happy? lol
