I started with eye floaters… I’m also diabetic… went to a doctor 4 years ago… was told it would require injections to the eye… I ran away… fast forward … got my 1st injection Las week :( my floaters come back from time to time… even worse I started seeing blue n red lights… I walk extra slow as it is had to tell what’s real n what’s not…. I’m 41 I can only imagine what 60 is going to look like…
I’m listening to my doc and am trying to go back 2 normal… never knew I was blessed and Neil this started….
    Y’all take care!!

Runaway was my first reaction too. Im 62 and going to have my first eye injection, my ophthalmologist suggests Avastin to be injection on both eyes. Years of having diabetes and getting good eye checkup every year, this leak from small veins in back of both eyes shows up and I was terrifying when he mention eye injections, unfortunately I can't ignore it at my age I m thankful they caught it. yes I hate it, but who is going to feed me, drive me around, and look after me if I go blind. Side effect is the least of my worry it's the loss of my vision that worries me most. Thanks for your comment it does bring me some comfort Imnot alone. I hope you get well. Hug from Texas.

@@DoctorODonovan Thanks buddy I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2020 with my blood surger at 320 and A1C at 10.3 during the coronavirus pandemic at a year earlier in 2019 my blood surger was at 115 and the earlier in 2018 blood surger was at 94 this was when I had no diabetes in my life time until 2020 So it only has been a year so I asked my doctor what can be done to fix it and is there a cure. She started me out with medication metformin told me to eat a healthy diet and exercise the doctor did not recommend any insulin shots. I asked her what are the options the doctor set me sent a refferal over to the hospital for me to register in there diabetics program and make an appointment to see the diabetic educator nurse and registered food dietatian which I did learned so much and they told me what to do prevent the complications of diabetes reverse the side effects from diabetes and did what they told me to do and made excellent progress lost weight went from 200 lbs to 165 Ibs working out eating right foods and reversed my diabetes from 320 to 100 and A1C from 10.3 to 5.8 Good news is the pancreas is still making insulin but in my case the beta cell recepters at not responding. I have type 2 the doctor and the specialist told me. The doctor told me everything seems to healthy. I'm 35 years old and 5 foot 6 inches tall.

I have some small micro-tears in my retina ( 23, male) with no diabetes whatsoever lol, it was probably just a genetic condition. I got the laser treatment today for the right eye and next week is a checkup appointment. Do you think I can still go to the gym and work out (heavy) during this week? Or will that be detrimental to the healing process of the lasered eye?

You can reverse Retinopathy! Here's how you do it......The Carnivore Diet!
My wife a 50yr T1 diabetic with Retinopathy and with eye bleeds for 20 years has had about a 1000 laser zaps and a couple dozen eye shots that only made things Far, Far worse and the cause of one Retina detachment.
She went on Keto a year and half ago then the Carnivore Diet 7 moths ago with No Carbs! And she has not had Any eye bleeds in over a year!
Her A1C has went from mid 9s to 6.3...so far! For years the littlest amount of stress would cause a major eye bleed that would last for a week or longer, Now stress doesn't cause any eye bleeds. Will Carnivore fix any of the damage the butcher doctors caused with lazers and shots? Time will only tell but we hope so. Also you must know that we do not need any Carbs to survive but Big Food, Big Pharma and the Government want us to believe we do......WE DON'T! There is no such thing as an essential carb, only essential Proteins and Fats. Do your own research on the Carnivore Diet, look up Dr Richard Bernstein, Dr Ken Berry, Dr Shawn Baker. The body can heal itself with the proper human diet. Pass the word and Good luck to all!
