I have a question… what made you use the underlayment by front door and in the bedroom but not the kitchen/laundry room & bathroom peel and stick adhesive. Love your work and I’m getting started on my own 💪🏽🔨
@ 1:04:22 - This is exactly the tiles and layout I used for my 2 bathrooms floor and above the shower as accent walls. Also I used it on my kitchen walls and backsplash. I placed them close to each other. No grout, though. I used Liquid nails for glue. It has been 4 yrs and they're still good! Love how you did it with grout! Beautiful!!!

I would have removed the air vent/ screws and just spray painted. In addition, I would have put a trim or molding around the tile to give the edges a more finished look. I'm a stickler for aesthetics. Love your videos and will continue to watch and learn.

We wouldn't tile inside of the shower because it will produce mold. You can use the moisture control adhesive outside of the shower 🚿 and it will stand up against steam. I like your TH-cam channel The tips and the "before" and "afters" are inspiring. I really like how real you seem, like regular people. Not full makeup and perfect clothes while doing a project. You didn't act like you've got all the answers. The inspiration you are giving is we are regular people you are regular people and it's more appealing then watching someone who doesn't look like it was them really doing the project. Also, I have 5 adult children. We always let them help when they were younger, and it gives them confidence in DIY endeavors as they age. They remember the bonding moments and even when they aren't in the mood to help and they got grumpy or whiney, they will remember it differently as they age. You will remember the project taking longer but they will remember how patient and cool that you were. They will remember that they helped and learned. Great job guys. You are a couple/family to be proud of. ♡
I bought a house built in 1979 & never updated. There was carpeting on the door & walls even. I took all that down, used stripper to take off 40+ year old glue & painted but they also put in indoor/outdoor carpeting in every room, including the bathroom & it's weird. I was going to wait & hire a pro to do the entire floor in locking vinyl plank flooring in a beach washed colour but now, I may just do this. Very inspiring video. Ty for this. Be well.

Absolutely beautiful!! I never thought of peel and stick tile. Removing the toilet was smart. Many people don’t think to do that. I put ceramic tile in my master bathroom and it was tough. It would’ve been so much easier with peel and stick tiles. Congratulations and involving your son was a great idea then he can be proud that he was a part of it!!❤

Awesome videos and tips!! I have been using peel and stick tiles on the floor as well as my walls for about 10 years now. I started using peel and stick tiles because you get expensive looking results for a fraction of the price. I was going to do peel and stick tiles as a backsplash for my stove and ended up doing the entire wall above the cabinets as well as around the sink and as an accent as well as on the side of my refrigerator. I get so many compliments when people come into my home. I did this about 6 or 7 years ago and have not had any problems with it. It still looks just as good as the first day I did it and if I have any lifting I use hot glue and it works wonderfully. After viewing your video I will be purchasing the floor adhesive and grout as I will be laying down a new kitchen floor soon using your methodology. Thank you for sharing. Door frames can be easily undercut with a hand saw or sawzall tool to assist the installation of flooring around the door frames. Gives a finished look. I was thinking of using a peel and stick product as a kitchen backsplash. Thanks for the cost effective suggestions.

I always paint the registers to the color of my walls. I also painted my electrical box to the color of the wall. That big gray box was an eyesore in the downstairs living room.
We love paint because it can totally change the look and feel of your living space. Some people paint the register a different color to make an accent piece. It's always a personal preference. Great comment. -DIYPC 😃✨

I used peel and stick vinyl plank flooring to create a herringbone patterned headboard. Stuck it to MDF and added trim. I love the way it turned out!

I'm about to start a bathroom and I have the peel and stick tile for the floor. I'm so glad I watched before I started. I never thought of putting grout in between off to home depot I go.

I always paint the registers to the color of my walls. I also painted my electrical box to the color of the wall. That big gray box was an eyesore in the downstairs living room.
We love paint because it can totally change the look and feel of your living space. Some people paint the register a different color to make an accent piece. It's always a personal preference. Great comment. -DIYPC 😃✨

Just happened to come up on your channel. I’ve been wanting to replace my master bathroom linoleum flooring. I have the exact same builder grade flooring you have except it’s the white with beige diamond like corners instead of what looks like the blue you had. Watching you overlay your flooring gave me incentive that I can do mine.
