This is my genuine first time watching Train To Busan.
This movie just about killed me but I hope you enjoy my reaction. Thanks for the emotional ride.

Something I forgot to mention in my reaction was just how much I appreciated the zombies. They looked so damn real and were terrifying! Well done!

This is a masterpiece. A wonderfully shot horror film that isn't just about gore but about character development and family bonds. This is by far my favorite Zombie movie ever. Korean stuff has been putting out lots of bangers. There's another Korean zombie series on Netflix coming out on January 28th called All of Us are Dead. Pretty excited for that one. :P
Yes! They achieved so much in such a small amount of screen time. Masterpiece is the right word to describe it.

I've seen this movie reacted to so many times and tear up every damn time! It has more character development than most dramas and makes you care far more about the characters than any other zombie movie out there.

I was not prepared for this one either when I first watched it simply because I saw so many people react to it. And I still cry to the end scene in the train even I know it by heart, the acting is on point!
The ending is just perfection.
I'm a grown a$$ man and I also cried watching this movie with my daughter, such a good zombie movie can't wait for the one.
Oh my goodness, watching it with your daughter would have been torture. What a movie!

The father (Gong Yoo) is a great actor, and someone I'm always excited to see attached to a project. I highly recommend checking him out in Silent Sea, for a bit of sci-fi thriller.

Yeah, this movie is brutal. My second favorite zombie movie. Speaking of my FAVORITE zombie movie...
Fun Fact: Filmmaker Edgar Wright, who directed the zombie-comedy Shaun Of The Dead (2004), was a big fan of the film. Wright recommended the film in a tweet and called it the "best zombie movie I've seen in forever."

@@inbedwithmovies3228 Train to Busan is by far the best Zombie movie I've ever seen but Sean of the Dead is a wonderfully enjoyable film. First part of a trilogy with the middle one, Hot Fuzz being my favourite part. You would definitely love it ❤️

I hope not only me appreciated the heroism of the Homeless guy not just once, but twice. First, when he covered a cloth to the zombie's head who's attacking Gong Yoo's character, second when he sacrificed his life for the pregnant woman and the little girl. :((
One of my favorite characters in this masterpiece.

I can't take it..anymore! Number 1 infected movie ever. After multiple watches and multiple reactions, I still cry. So sickeningly sad.

Wow you made me cry all over again LOL. This film was perfection. As you said not a wasted moment in the whole thing. The characters we came to love we loved a lot and those we hated we hated a lot. Stellar acting from everyone especially that little girl. Now I'm going to go see what else you've reacted to LOL. Great work again!
Ps - now that you've seen the movie I recommend watching some of your fellow reactors react to it. You will have those feels all over again with them just as I did.

A naive TH-cam viewer is "getting on the train." This should be interesting, if she hasn't seen many South Korean movies. When "Parasite" was in the theaters, "Train To Busan" was a TH-cam recommendation. I HATE Zombie movies, but when the Deer got back up, I was hooked. The roller coaster ride through Fear/Dread/Anger/Sorrow left me emotionally drained. But as long as a naive viewer "gets on the train," so will I. Kudos to the writer, director, actors, and especially the stunt performers for creating a modern classic. Note: a TH-cam viewer living in Korea has suggested that the train is retracing the route taken by refugees fleeing the North Korean invasion of South Korea in the Summer of 1950. Congratulations, you passed the Empathy test: you're 100% Human.;)

Korean movies are extremely emotional. They don't spare anyone. Some are shocking, some are tearjerkers, and some having crazy twists. My favorite list are: Taegukgi (compare to Saving Private Ryan), Front Line, A Moment to Remember ( compare to the Notebook), New World, OldBoy. I saw the Devil, No Mercy (2010), The Classic, Wonderful Nightmare, Be With You, Montage, Man from Nowhere.

Whenever I see that deer scene in these reactions I always think of Black sheep which is a brilliant new Zealand horror comedy about zombie sheep.

@ How to pronounce Busan: It's easier to remember how to pronounce things, when one scraps the idea that anything non-English would be pronounced the English way. The letter a within a word is hardly ever pronounced the English way, as in "hat" in foreign words, but almost always as "ah." 🙃

loved your reaction. I'm kinda suspicious of anyone who isn't moved to tears by this film haha. The first time I saw this film, I called my parents immediately afterwards, just crying and like I LOVE YOU GUYS.
By the way, the actor who played the baseball team guy is like really really good friends with one of the BTS vocalists V. Not sure if you listen to BTS music or not, but V has a really good solo song that is very neo-soul, it's called Singularity. The primary songwriter for Singularity is one of the BTS rappers RM. RM said he wrote it specifically with V in mind to sing it. BTS doesn't have much neo-soul songs in their discography, so Singularity is a particularly special one in my opinion. I love this movie but some stuff don't add up. Like if they can't see, and they're not smelling out uninfected flesh, how can they tell the difference between who's infected or not? How about when they fall out of the sky, their bones should be broken so they shouldn't be able to move anymore. Especially when all the zombies are hanging from the train and it's still moving, the bodies should be shredded from being dragged. But I still like the movie for the characters. 😂
You should check out Hotel Del Luna on Netflix. It's a romantic/horror KDrama about a thousand yr old soul who is being punished by the Gods. Actually, it's more like she's punishing herself for what she did so she went searching for the hotel. She's like Davy Jones, who has to take care of the dead before they cross over. It gave me serious 2nd lead syndrome and the soundtrack has some of the most haunting pieces of music. It's one of my favorite fantasy dramas. ❤❤❤

I can honestly say that motherhood is the best (and hardest) thing I’ve ever done. Exhausted 24/7 but the moments where you see just how much you are loved and trusted… it’s something else. But even more when pregnant. You’re literally that persons entire world. You don’t have to share them with anyone.
I don’t know if you’ve had kids or not but the child learns it’s mothers voice and responds to it. It’s such a beautiful experience that I’m blessed to have had.

Lol I AM always hot in my reactions! My room is the stuffiest room I’ve ever been in. The AC doesn’t reach it and the fan is too loud 😢 throw in all the lights I need to have on.

the 2 moments that are cringey in this movie for me, were the zombies piling up when running, they do it at the initial outbreak on the train then at the final train station. It felt like, "we have the budget in sfx to do it" and that is why they did it. Both times it is only for effect and not story.
Interesting. I actually liked both of those scenes, they added to my horror.
