I have the HD800S TBH I have the two stock pads and dekoni hybrid elite I prefer the stock pad they are more close to the sound and more comfortable when I put the dekoni pads everything sound away and linear I don't know much about audiophile but I just say what I hear also Zeus plug it with amp that connected with High quality preamp it will improve the sound a lot I am using the HDV 820 as preamp and you can hear more natural 3D sound like everything sound chill.

I am using fenestrated sheepskin on HD660s - comfort is amazing and I don't think they do much to sound signature. Some slight changes? Maybe, but really hard to tell when going A-B with brand new original ones. And again, comfort rocks. Soft sheep leather full of holes for the win :)

    • @LyK0sa

I use the AHG Perforated Sheepskin Leather pads with my set of HD 800 S, those are what you want. They sound warmer, get a boost in the sub bass, and it reduces the treble just enough where it's no longer fatiguing. I imagine the Dekoni version pads sound similar. The AHG pads are excellent quality, supremely comfortable, and half the price at $40.
