Brings back a deja vu moment, teaching my wife to drive in the States some 34 years ago. Today, she is her own boss! There is nothing better than giving them their independence.

I had the same pleasure teaching my sister-in-law to drive a Baja we purchased for her. She is now able to bring her childeren to school. The whole process only took 6 short years off of my life.

Hand position at ‘10’ and ‘2’ was the suggestion before the advent of airbag in the steering wheel.
Now with airbag in the steering wheel, the hands placement should be at ‘9’ and ‘3’. This is so in the advent of a crash, the arms/hands aren’t in the way of the steering wheel airbag and possibly causing more injuries to the driver. (Per the NHSTA)

They often say don't try teaching family how to drive but what you were doing is fine, it's of course up to the individual as to how they learn and how you teach, there are those that create lots of stress, to the learner and themselves and they should therefore dig into their pockets and pay for a driving school fees❤😂😂

My heart is sometimes in it. YT (and most other 'social' media) has turned into either a AI-driven pandering click/monetization drive or a total shite-show (thanks Tik-Tok).That and the fact that foreigners have no constitutionally protected freedom of speech in the Philippines (so we can't talk about the 'bad') factored into the stepback from YT.
