I have watched thousand of films, masala, romance, action, thriller, horror, animation and what not…I always thought films are just a medium to entertain and kill time. But this movie made me rethink about movies, I cried when elephant comes to bless the hero 😢 that is a very emotional and thought provoking scene that every creature on this earth has right to live. This is not a movie, this is a lesson for every filmmaker and writer. I wish Bollywood could’ve got senses to make such movies. Bollywood is busy in glorifying heros and using makeup, high end sets, skin show of actresses and expensive and flashy costumes, on the other side, south is busy in focusing on content with realistic stuff like sand, dirt, torn clothes, shabby hairstyle, real locations and the “kaala hero” 😅 Really, Bollywood must come back from masala to real content. I Really want to thank Karthik Subbaraj, Raghava and Surya sir for this awesome masterpiece. ❤
Because of Tiger 3 or may be because of some politics the movie was in theatres only for 2 days in Ahmedabad. (In Hindi) I missed the theatre experience of this masterpiece.
Do watch in Tamil wiry English subs. I’m not a Tamil speaker but I feel Hindi dub doesn’t quite capture the emotions in the dialogue delivery. Amazing movie. A must watch
