When I went to Hot Topic to shop, some of the girls there were talking about this incident, 3 weeks ago. Getting stuck in a rip tide is serious! It will absolutely exhaust you, trying to get out of it. Quite often, people will drown! I almost drowned in Corpus Christi, TX when I was 12. Thank God for the lifeguards. Poor Jinxx! Glad he and Jake made it back safely.

Jake is so good at what he does and has grown so much since he was first brought onto the show and proved that by swing him in action dealing with bag thief’s and mass rescues as well as handling a dramatic recovery’s
Nicola is a badass! I hope she runs an organization to help young girls be their best selves bc she’s a really terrific role model. It’s wonderful to see her flourish as a lifeguard. I wish I had her skills bc she is a beast in the water. Like she’s legit a mermaid or at least part fish, I’m convinced of it! She is fierce. She can compete easy w any of the men and holds her own in and out of the water. And that is exactly what young girls need to see and have to look up to. A strong, empowering, assertive female who is just as good as any of the boys, if not better! Nicola hands down is one of the best lifeguards to have ever come outta Bondi. She’s a shinning example to all young girls.

I’m Australian.I grew up on the beach.I’ve visited Bondi BEACH once and didn’t swim. I know rip tides . I learnt to swim in the ocean. Beautiful beach ,too many riptides,too many people peeing in the water 😜😝 What a great job though !! Never a dull moment .
harrison is such a grat life guard he tries his hardest at everthing he doies and never gives up i would love to see more of that with the older guys they are good but harrison is over the top with his kindness the fact that he came from nz just to work at bondi is awesome he deserves this job
