The Cult are exponentially better than Motley Crue. Live. On vinyl. Every which way. They just kinda derailed themselves at times is why they didn't attain every single ounce of success. I'd see the Cult over Motley Crue every day of the week, month, year.
Axl? Definitely. Eddie Vedder? Maybe. Chris Cornell? Sorry, but no. I'm not a huge Soundgarden fan but I did like them. Truly a generational voice was lost when he passed. I do love Ian Astbury fhough
Axl?????? He's garbage, always was and always will be and absolutely terrible and stupid shimmy sham stage moves. Looks like a goofball. Ian can sing and has stage moves and presence
Me and my friend have always been a huge fan of the cult always like their music and their style. We saw them probably five years ago with Stone Temple Pilots and they put on a fantastic show. We live by casino in Michigan and we always keep hoping to see them playing there. Such a fun band.
I seen them years ago on the Beyond good and evil tour and they rocked , one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to , the whole crowd was moving , unlike these penguins 😂
Saved Rock and Roll from New Wave in the mid 80's. They renewed my faith in Rock back then. I was drowning in the Duran Durans of the music world until they came along.
Hey, Ian sounds great after all these years, but how about some love for my man Billy Duffy? Still sounding fantastic! One of the best guitarist out there!!!
I think so. Maybe he is anti - anti woke hive mind? The idea of woke beer is stupid anyhow. Even woke is stupid because it has no clear definition. It's just the chud far right propaganda fear mongering undefined buzzword of the week.
Kissé elhamarkodtad, de te tudod... Megvan, hogy elmúlt 61 éves? :) Nézz meg további friss live-okat is. A korához képest nagyon is jól nyomja. Itt lehet, hogy nem volt top formában.
Please don't go all "Rainbow'n shit"..I grew up with your music and don't agree with the current status!! (edit)..ok, I see at the 3:58 mark, you doffed the silly "cacoon outfit"...all is good again, thanks!
No backing tracks, autotune or tricks! Just honest hard rock! Thank you!
He’s 61 years old and he’s belting them out unlike Motley Crue!
motley crue was a bad band even when they were young. they were using recordings during their show.
Crue is a show band. This is a sound band.
Hey watch that 💩! I’m 61 and aging like a fine wine….. ☮️♥️
Hang in there old timer@@reemclaughlin4260 🍷🌟

Absolutely awesome!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Love him ❤
Yes,…he is up there with Axl, Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder…So under-rated back then.
Absolutely.
Yeah and unlike Axl, he still sounds remarkably like himself even if a little winded .
Axl? Definitely. Eddie Vedder? Maybe. Chris Cornell? Sorry, but no. I'm not a huge Soundgarden fan but I did like them. Truly a generational voice was lost when he passed. I do love Ian Astbury fhough

This band sounds like their albums when they play live. I thought they were playing recordings when I saw them a few years ago... impressive
Fantastic!!
I seen them years ago on the Beyond good and evil tour and they rocked , one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to , the whole crowd was moving , unlike these penguins 😂
This is a legend🥰🥰🥰
The best.. Made in the United Kingdom
The Cult...meglátni, és megszeretni...Ian egy karizmatikus énekes ❤
ONE OF THE BEST TRUE/REAL ROCK N ROLL BANDS!!!!
Ian. Master of masters.
🇧🇷 fantástico 👍👏👏👏👏🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸💯
Bien!!!!
couldn't love them anymore than i did in 85.
Same.
4:55 love the tambourine smash!
Saw them on the Ceremony-tour: Epic and grounded.
5:51 best ❤
Not bad for a bunch of northern lads from Bradford / Manchester
Saved Rock and Roll from New Wave in the mid 80's. They renewed my faith in Rock back then. I was drowning in the Duran Durans of the music world until they came along.
I remember him shattering those tambourines.
Great song, Drumming not up to scratch.....
Yes it’s behind the guitars.
Still so sexy that huge voice aged well live u Ian hope see u live...
Естбері просто фантастичний!
What a hair
Hey, Ian sounds great after all these years, but how about some love for my man Billy Duffy?
Still sounding fantastic! One of the best guitarist out there!!!
Ian kinda has the Captain Jack Sparrow thing going.
Ian had that look way before Capt. Wack Sparrow
Freddie Mercury was mentioned at the end. Did they play Queen or mention something about him?
00:20 Song !!!!!!!!!
I heer an 'mix' Freddy fuccin mercury! FOREVER.
sounds like axl
Me parece que le faltó más energía, . Por lo que es el tema!!
Who’s the drummer? ??????!!!
I believe John Tempesta is still drumming for The Cult. He has been in the band for quite some time.
Did he say drink the bud light?
I think so. Maybe he is anti - anti woke hive mind? The idea of woke beer is stupid anyhow. Even woke is stupid because it has no clear definition. It's just the chud far right propaganda fear mongering undefined buzzword of the week.
I was getting ready to ask the same thing
I’ll save my money when they come to the Bay Area. They were great back in the day.
Astbury csalódás.Lehet eladom a jegyem .
Kissé elhamarkodtad, de te tudod... Megvan, hogy elmúlt 61 éves? :)

Yeah. People being free to express themselves and have rights really sucks.
People not dancing
Voice is shot now. Billy holds them together.
Soundtrack to my my life.....but please stop before it becomes embarrassing
That is absolutely horrible...
😂
Can the bassist be less interesting
A rather laclustre performance by a band that is bored stiff of playing the same songs over and over again....
Is Ian off his face on something? Pretty bad performance.
Band's sounding good, but good lord Astbury's awful
The shows could be cool if Ian made the choice
So sad. Ian is the weak point
