I was in my garden 4km as the crow flies in Favona Auckland. This concert was loud as. Could hear clearly every every word to every song. The crowd sounded pretty cool too. I don't know who's who, but whoever the guitarist is, they were, absolutely fantastic 👏. New fan as from last night
I was there 8.11.2024. Amazing concert, amazing band took me back to when saw them at The Supertop in 1995. The crowd got behind the big hits 1000%. Just an awesome vibe all round.
WOW, EDDIE IS PRETTY DARN EMOTIONAL, ME 😢 TOO!! THAT'S WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVE LISTENING TO EDDIE TALK, VERY CALMING. "JUST BREATHE" WAS VERY EMOTIONAL. I LOVE PEARL JAM AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE EDDIE VEDDER!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS AWESOME VIDEO AND SORRY ABOUT THE ALL CAPS I CAN'T SEE VERY WELL SO I APOLOGIZE. 😊💓🤘✌️🌹 LOVE YOU EDDIE!!
I was 2-3 from the rail right in front of Mike and these two really drunk women tried to push to the front between sets and ended up right behind me drinking beers. I was hoping for a quieter moment to really let the experience wash over me, "Thumbing My Way" unlikely as it's the whole band but "Keep Me in Your Heart" (Zevon) would have been amazing. We got "Just Breathe" and even with earplugs all I could hear was these two women shouting loudly at each other and laughing. Like cackling laughing, through the WHOLE song (and yes, through the rest of the concert). Kind of a bummer. They seemed pretty oblivious to the fact that everyone around them had a frustrated vibe, just hoping they would move somewhere else. But, as we say here in New Zealand - it's a free country. I imagine they just thought "wow, a legendary American band playing here on a Friday night - let's go and get plastered and have a wild time". They DID seem to be enjoying themselves. And I think they knew the song "Alive" so they quit laughing for that one. I might be a hypocrite though because Sunday night was off the charts and in the break between sets I got the most heartfelt and kind message from Frank Black that I was so emotional I just let go and sang along to every song. I don't think anyone would want to hear me sing but nobody seemed to mind so hopefully I didn't lessen the experience for anyone else. Best night ever!
I had a similar issue in the stands, next to these two women who were completely distracted the whole time - videoing everything, asked me how to do Facebook live, calling people during songs, yelling in each other's ears the whole time (and mine by proximity), and they got up and danced a few times which blocked my view of the stage. Completely oblivious. Just there to drink and party. It was disappointing for sure.
I cannot see Josh Klinghoffer on stage. Can you confirm if he was onstage usually right side of stage (Mike McCready side) behind the keyboards and playing rhythm guitar as a 3rd guitarist. He has been touring with Pearl Jam for some time now since leaving the Chill Peppers.
@mikehardy1912 Josh is a permanent touring member of the band. He has played every gig on this world tour (same with Boom Gaspar). Josh plays lead and sings when they cover "Purple Rain". So yes, both nights in Auckland too.
He was as pissed as a fart the whole concert. He was slurring his words from the first time he spoke to the crowd, yet as soon as the songs would start he played and sung every word perfectly.

Great video man. He was taking ages to get into it and I needed a leak real bad so had to get up

Yes he’s there’s, can see him in some my other videos. And he’s on stage during rockin in the free world as well
I saw them @ Fenway Park here in Boston USA , ( in mid September) I can confirm that Josh played

Was telling my mates. This was the best of the lot, especially because the sound engineers was screwing the band sound up.
Had to sell my tickets for Melbourne 😢

He doesn't seem drunk to me in this video? Sounds like every other Pearl Jam video on TH-cam.
Trump 🎉❤
