Rino, I love the way you show properties that the regular person can afford. Nick shows homes that are only for the rich. Don’t change a thing my friend. Love from Canada. 🇨🇦

Same here Nick is fun guy to watch with his charming and little dorkish personality 😄. I never watch his million dollar places 🙄. He sometimes finds good affordable deals though. I like that he finds homes with Italian traditional charm . ❤

You do a great job with your videos, Rino. I appreciate your direct, fact filled descriptions and your knowledge of the areas that you showcase. Honestly, I prefer learning about Italy and Italian properties from an Italian. (I am from the US) Please don’t compare yourself to, or try to emulate Nick. He’s great, but you have your own style of delivery, and I appreciate it!

Agree completely. You and David Benton (and Rossinni & Co) have properties in anruzzo (and Molise) that interest me. I understand that YOU can learn some of the approaches that Nick uses for your own videos (slower pan of the camera, appealing more to the emotional attachment to a property), but that’s for your benefit. I love your videos and the passion you have for what you do. Carve out a market niche and run with it! You focus more on the Pescara/Cheti area and an hour or so from there, David more around Sulmona and both sides of the Majella and Rossinni in the south Abruzzo/north Molise area. In my opinion, keep doing what you do - you do a great job!
A video on how to have a holiday home in an Abruzzo village where there isn’t a train station and an expat can’t buy a car would be great. How to get around? Car
Rentals are expensive and running to the hardware store in the next town is tough without a car …?

Nick sells dreams, you sell properties
Nick is a romantic poet, you are very polite
Different styles in the same work
Sometimes I cry watching your videos, because I can't buy a house, I've never had one, it's my biggest dream, and the only time I came close to buying one, my two daughters became seriously ill, and I had to help them , that dream has become impossible, so when Nick is poetically detailing a house, I cry and close my eyes and see myself inside them, I am emotional, I love watching both, thank you..

What a fun video! Rino, you are a natural star! I love Nick's videos, but you bring humor and insights to yours that make your videos so entertaining and fun. Sure, Nick's properties are gorgeous, I love his personality, too, but you are right up there with him. And the fact that you are willing to feature him speaks to your own humility, openness, and willingness to learn. Keep doing what you are doing!

Thank you for sharing, I don’t follow Nick, and enjoy seeing these homes for inspiration but wouldn’t watch them too often. Personally I really like Nick's videos and I've told him as much on a few occasions. His camera work is good and stable, not rushed. He makes sure you know where you are in the property. He has said in the past that he doesn't use drone footage because essentially humans can't fly, personally I think views from above can give context and other channels use aerial views from online maps so this might be a useful addition and could include the property boundary. But generally his enthusiasm comes over and we are so tempted by many of his properties.

I found your videos throught Nick and to me you are two sides of the same coin. Both amazingly shot videos of stunning properties. I enjoy that you give description of the town, ammenities and vibe of the local area. Nick is like a sweet dessert .. very enjoyable but you can only have so much before it gets too much ;) I like that you show properties that need love and restoration that you can let your imagination run. You have a lovely smile and should show it more in your videos. I look froward to more from your channel. Cheers

The thing about Nick is, whether he's showing a 1 Euro property or a million-dollar villa, he's loving every minute of it! He always mentions how much he wants whatever property and I'm here for it 😂

  • @flavius_pisapia_sculpture
    @flavius_pisapia_sculpture 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Nick brings to his videos a great weaving of personal observations (first hand experiences of the spaces) with information about the property. He has a genuine wonder about the spaces. He blends this wonder with the property info perfectly. The information by itself would be sterile and boring. By alternating the two aspects - personal wonder & factual information - he keeps the viewers interested and entertained - Hence the comment about nibbles, wine, and tea at the beginning.

This was fun to get your reaction. Nick is very exuberant and over the top. Too many adjectives, but he does show beautiful properties. That's great that you can learn videography techniques from him. I like your style too, knowledge, and that you point out problems as well as giving update suggestions. I like also that you show affordable properties. That said, a little American vocabulary: it's the "faucet" for turning on the bathtub, "radiant heat" for underfloor heating (which dries the floor quickly when you mop). Keep doing what you are doing and being you!

Subscribe and love Nick who is an award winner! He must spend a great deal of time determining and memorizing what he will say and when. That makes him smooth, comfortable and able to enjoy the design and building.
English is Nick's first language, you will build your sayings. Note he used carved marble and then cut marble as to not repeat himself...you must practise every word to do this kind of presentation.

Hi Rino - it was interesting to get your perspective on another presenter's work. Personally I am not a great fan of Nick's breathless style - but I always enjoy seeing the properties. Some of the properties you have shown us are a more difficult sell - the ones that need everything doing - and that is harder work than showing a dream home so you deserve credit for that. I honestly don't think you have to imitate Nick in any way - your followers appreciate what you bring to us and your own personal style. My message is - compare and contrast with the other Italian property presenters yes - but follow your own path because you bring something unique that they don't!
    Best regards

Nick has a personality. He focuses mostly on high-end property which is where the juicy commissions are. I like him better than Romillini who also focuses on a similar market or even more expensive market. Your channel caters to the lower end of the market, you are a local guy and I like your channel for that as that is what I personally look for. I wish Italian houses weren't always a project, I would love to see some more move-in ready homes.

Love Nicks videos ❤😊. He does a great job showing homes and areas . I will admit, I watch only ones I can afford less than 250K . I cant afford a million dollar mansions. I only those watch sometimes / once in awhile. Rossinni videos are very good , but they pick out ones that are cheap 15k-90k ish sometimes total dumps, and needed complete renovation. "A home in Italy " guy picks overpriced homes that have thown out every bit of Italian charm" and he shows ulta modern homes-yuck . So I dont really watch him. You and Nick are the best . A couple from US does Wandering with wine 🍷 does an excellent job 👍 they find awesome properties.

The isue you have with Nick explains the fact that recently the properties you are showing have become expensive. The people looking for Abruzzo are different from the American Tuscany searchers, and are limited in budget. So please stay down to earth, show us the important functional matters, also the potential, and the lifestyle, and if possible as cheaply as possible, as you have done so far. Be yourself, and thank you.

We stopped watching him because he was immensely annoying.
We want information not gushing superlatives over even the most ordinary properties.
Not to mention the "one take" nonsense. We want well edited vids.
Romolinis and Lionard are good examples with high production values.
We much prefer both your channels. It would be a mistake to copy his style.
