NSWGR 5917 The Picnic Train Steams Through Marulan Station

- On the 27-28th of April24 The Picnic Train ( www.picnictrai... ) with NSWGR 5917 was run from Goulburn to Moss Vale and return. Each day this shuttle was operated twice. In the last videos we saw 5917 on its run up to Moss Vale ( • NSWGR 5917 The Picnic ... ), being turned on the triangle ( • NSWGR 5917 The Picnic ... ), proceeding to Moss Vale station in preparation for the return to Goulburn ( • NSWGR 5917 The Picnic ... ) and finally heading back to Goulburn ( • NSWGR 5917 The Picnic ... ).
Luck continued to fall my way (see first three videos linked above) as this video of 5917 was a complete fluke. We were headed to Marulan for lunch when we came across this road bridge over the rail line and all these rail fans waiting. I had assumed that the train would have reached Marulan before we got there; but clearly not. So quickly parked the car, jumped out, and after a quick assessment of the road bridge, decided getting down on the station platform was a much better option. Turned out I had to go to the far end of the station to gain access; and yet the train didn't turn up until I was positioned on the platform.
