- Our long awaited interview with Doris Raymond from @thewaywewore7371 ! So grateful we were able to visit this incredibly iconic and beautiful shop filled with a bounty of treasures!
Doris is a Legend! Thanks for sharing
She definitely is!!! So grateful to have met her💕
Doris really is an underexposed, underacknowledged and underappreciated fountain of knowledge. I wish she's release a book sharing her expertise, professional anecdotes, shopping pro-tips and everything in between. She's fantastic, thanks for uploading this charming video.
I totally agree! It was such an honour to meet her and I am so grateful she took the time to chat with us🥰
If I had an unlimited budget I would go for 30s first and 40s second, trends be damned. They just have my heart ♥️ As a pattern maker and seamstress I can pay attention to details and love the challenge of recreating these beautiful details.
We love those decades too!!❤️
What wonderful treasures! A real treat to see some of the extraordinary pieces in her shop. Great interview.
Glad you enjoyed it!❤️
Love Love Love this collaboration video!!! Thanks for posting .

Hi. Thank you. Awesome and very informative..
Now following Swish because they featured Doris/The Way We Wore. Good company to keep!
Thank you! Much appreciated 🌸
LOL ! The hip hugger made a lot of people instant "plumbers". 😆
Wonderful video, so interesting and such beautiful fashions!! Thank you take care.
Thank you! You too!🩷
I’ve been buying vintage since I was in High-school, I’m now 45. I have quite the collection. It’s like art to me.
Wonderful! They definitely are artful 🥰
Love the education, again. Thanks. 🇨🇦
Our pleasure! ❤️
Wow! So thrilled to see you both and thank you for the inspiration.
Thanks for watching!😍
Beautifully presented. I wished I could have seen her upstairs items.😀🇨🇦❤️
Definitely worth a trip!
That pleated dress is AMAZING ! ❤
Right?!❤️
Such an interesting interview with such a lovely lady🥰🇨🇦
❤️❤️
Oh yes I’ve watched this twice ❤️😎
Thank you🥰
❤❤❤
As someone whos collected clothes for 45 yrs i can attest to the difference in quality.... At what point did manufacturers think plastic fabric was a good idea... Or the one sided printed fabrics.... I collect kimonos and iv ordered a few from "cheap" retailers and omg never again... The fabrics are soooo crappy.... Iv started sewing my own....❤❤❤loved this video by the way
Thank you so much for watching 🙏❤️
Superb!
Thanks a lot!🥰
I adore Doris. Unfortunately, this comes across as a missed opportunity. She was very patient and gracious.
Not sure how it was a missed opportunity? Thanks for watching 😊
You know, hearing the regret of selling certain items makes me feel a lot better because every day I’d get those intrusive thoughts and beat myself up for it. 😅 I even wondered if I should see a hypnotist to make me forget about it but I’m not gonna open that Pandora’s box.
We all have those moments of regret but there’s nothing that can be done to bring the piece back! Onward and upward and happy future discoveries ahead💕💕💕
My m9ther had a vintage shop for 40 years. RUSTON GALLERIES. TACOMA WASHINGTON
How wonderful! I’m sure you have some lovely memories 🥰
Her name was Doris.😊😊😊
I love those older names! Doris, Gladys, Greta, etc! Really pretty!
Doris, do you have BIBA dresses? Thanks🎉
You’ll have to message The Way We Wore directly. They’re currently having a big sale😊
@@swishvintagefindsforyoursa6094 thanks!
Angela, you were a punk rocker at 16 ??? 😃
We want photos! I was a bit of a Punk in Edmonton early ‘80’s / Slash and the Bleeding Hearts??
I sure was!😂
I’ll have to dig some of those photos out!😂

Please know your interviwee's last name, that's kinda rude.
My bad!
I want it so badly to watch this video all the way through but unfortunately, I have a major problem with hearing certain sounds. ASMR practically makes me scream out loud so the rattling of those brittle, awful plastic garment covers sent me running.
Oh no😢
Well, I'm going to subscribe anyway just because I enjoy the content. But if I hear plastic covers rattling I'll have quickly exit! 😂❤❤❤
Glad to discover another wonderful Chanel. I adore Doris and her channel. Truly a delightful collaborative video. Thank you.
