Honestly, it's really sad that this is a "crazy game" as this is how the game is actually designed to be played with Terran. All of these awesome systems almost never get used in professional games.
Totally! I feel like this is how my friends and I played. Build carriers/BCs/Guardians as quickly as possible, fly them around with no plan, and just have fun with the different tech/spells. Uncanny to see actually good players do a version of that under-optimized style :)

Wow you almost NEVER see Terran win TvP when it goes past 30 minutes. This was the most epic, bonkers game. Never seen optical flare used either, holy cow.
I wanna get the sound of "nuclear launch detected"*bwoonngg* *kaboom* *Templar raawr* *canons dying* as a ringtone.
This was definitely one of the most exciting games I've watched live, it was an honour to be there!

I think the part of the game where the protoss was making heaps of high templar he would've been better off making dark archons, lots of energy units to feedback and maelstrom on the bio would've been good and they can't get irradiated, even if they're more vulnerable to EMP-
Yeah I agree. It feels like this whole game was an example of Protoss going too tunnel vision on units that aren't working. If the Terran went mech then maybe Protoss would have been okay but Terran went high-tech bio and nuke and I feel like the Protoss was relying on habits and training, which were made for the wrong situation. They just kept flushing resources down the drain and it just wasn't working.
It is crazy watching videos i saw played live being casted on your channel. A dream scenario for all of us would be you casting with tastosis. You're voice is even tonally inbetween their voices. As always, great casting and thank you for posting.

48:19 Reminds me of when I've finished a level but haven't jumped in homeworld. That music combined with knowing that no enemies are left on the map made me think of that.
One of the best parts of this game is that Artosis had enough ghosts that even if the protoss had gone dragoons, he'd be effed.
Yeah, that was the weirdest game of all time. It felt somehow like a Starcraft screening of the "The Day After" (1983) I've never seen so many nukes in my life...

Artosis recently played a 1v1 on ladder against Protoss on Plasma. He was NOT having fun but it was certainly fun to watch.

The timing on that opening storm was perfect, MoGo had two storms available against an early Bio Push. Then he wiffed the first one, and couldn't quite get the second one out. Artosis is lucky that first one didn't connect with much, that could have ended the game there. As a Protoss fan this was very disheartening to watch, but what a cool match!
BC = such a rare treat. BC + ghost + nuke + lockdown = holy blerp!

@falcon, could you release a super long audio-only track of FP game audio? Just existing stuff cut together? I bet other people who may sleep to games could use that, especially in low data situations. If that’s just too weird or if releasing ad-free audio would hurt your revenue then never mind

I don't know man, a million bw games... if a game is roughly 15 minutes long, that is over 28 full years of playing. Maybe that is what the lip APM is for. He always has a wireless mouse in his mouth so he can play all the time, and play a simultaneous game when he's playing regularly.

Actually you don't need that many ghosts so i think 1 barrack is enough also they train quite fast too. Just enough for the amount of arbiters and shuttles carrying something specially carrying a reaver or just dragoons and observers if you have more than enough energy. Or 2 if there are carriers and barracks are not that expensive. So yes ghosts are still viable on mech not as an attacker nor nuker but just a spell caster
If you can get a propane tank filled with liquid hydrogen to stay cool with liquid nitrogen you can use a tattoo removal laser for a triggering mechanism and have an explosive that reaches nuclear sometimes; like a "sometimes nuke". Not a huge radius.

Really exciting game. But why the Protoss with very strong economy didnt change his stragery but keep building carrier which cannot do damage to the terran? Why not make dragoon, zealot?

Yea one time I massed carriers and not even 7 observers could save them from wraith cloaking… the Terran just scanned and popped the observers and then a billion minerals, gas and build time was flushed down the drain…

This Protoss must've forget that Arbiters exist. If Terran has time for Nukes and BC's than protoss should have time for Arbiters and Carriers.

I'm not a professional player by any means, but I really don't get why Mogo didn't switch from Carriers the moment lockdown ghosts appeared.
His whole army was made obsolete, but he kept on with it. Then rage-quit :D

Another great came to watch. I am curious how you think lockdown is balanced. I think stasis is balanced, because it stops the unit from doing anything, but it also can be attacked. Lockdown to me seems cheap, shutting down the unit but still making it vulnerable. I am genuinely asking someone to explain it to me, it seems very unbalanced

That they don’t need a separate nuclear building to make. The scan can make both. Maybe sacrifice 200 energy for a looong nuclear to make.

Interesting about this corona stuff is the Name "Lockdown" also in Starcraft Broodwar and the "Ghosts" cause the occuring of the lockdown..
