What is the point in having the swivel on this hook if your immobolizing it with the tubing . Its all about the movement of the 360 rig that nash is cashing in on its a gr8 hook dosent need the tubing.
Yeah, I get that there’s a swivel, my point is, why would someone buy this over just buying the parts to make a Ronnie rig? Surely with the gyro you have two points of rotation, making it trickier for carp to eject, the Ronnie rig has the one. I’m just a little puzzled as to why you have potential to just turn it into another ronnie rig - again, don’t take this as me being a prick trying to argue with you all, I’m just curious as to why. For all I know this was solely created to make slightly lower profile Ronnie rigs
As long as the tubing does not extend below the swivel then it will still give full movement, the tubing creates a longer shank to improve hooking.
Rob so just use a long shank hook .
Some people prefer shorter hooks for playing fish but accept that longer shanks can give better hook ups best of both worlds!

Exactly what I thought, no point buying this hook to make a Ronnie rig, I’d love to see what rigs you can make which take advantage of the gyro hook.
More to protect the fishes mouth from the swivel than for rig mechanics, the swivel can still spin from the bottom Aswell.
