I used a prong collar and it took 10 minutes to get my maltipoo corrected. He walked perfectly after that. He pulled on the leash once and never again after that. He now keeps his eyes on me.
Omg 😂my 2 yr old dog Toby is just like rosco n his not even a maltipoo his a morkie just like rosco he pull on my leash n he bark at certain people I don’t know why n when he see a dog he yap with a load high pitch bark too I guess it must be the Maltese side they tend to be vocal and in my case is double cuz I got yorkie/Maltese in my dog😭btw rosco is adorable n a good learner even tho he got a long way to go :)
Yes, he can definitely be a handful! :) We’ve been doing lots of training and socialization lately, so hopefully his behavior will get better. Training takes work, but it definitely pays off!
Hello, I love your channel 😍 in 2 weeks we will have a girl maltipoo and we are very excited. I have a question, when you and your family leave home and can't take Rosco, where do they leave him? in his small cage or in his play pen? Sorry if my writing has errors, I speak Spanish and I use google translator to write in English🤦♀️
We don’t usually walk Rosco every day and the amount of time we walk him for really depends. Most of the time his walks are around 30 mins. We also take him outside a lot and play fetch so going for walks isn’t the only exercise he gets.
Delightful Paws okay thanks for replying ! I’m going to get a maltipoo soon so I’m really trying to educate myself about them before I get one, and you channel has been very helpful :) it would be cool if you did a video of what rosco eats in a day!
He catches on to new tricks pretty quickly, but in terms of overall training, it definitely takes patience and dedication and Rosco still has a ways to go :)
Hi! I just had a maltipoo few months ago and he is 4 months old now. Did you had hard with his leash pulling at the beginning? Cause that is what I am dealing with my puppy right now and sometimes it chokes him. If you had a situation of the leash pulling with Rosco, how did you train him to walk beside you? I tried doing the training with treats but my puppy is just too distracted outside.
Rosco pulled hard in the beginning too. If you're using a collar I suggest maybe switching to a harness. We found that we have better control that way and it's more comfortable for Rosco. Training him to walk beside us has been the toughest command, but I'm planning to make a video about it sometime! For now, Zac George (a dog trainer on TH-cam) has a great video on how to teach "heel" - it helped us out a lot when teaching it to Rosco!
In general, when we’re at home, Rosco doesn’t bark much. But if he sees a dog on a walk, (like you probably saw in the video) he gets very yappy. It’s something we’re working on.
Looks like Zak George approach. You can also try this one for starting: th-cam.com/video/MIKT8ZQOD5Q/w-d-xo.html. Or go to an area with less distraction as you build up
Ummm why is there links to everything but the dog. Why are people doing this? Looking at all the simulator dog links on you tube anf they are all the same except one and there dog does not walk.

Ice cream was a special treat. How fun for Rosco!
Hi Rosco! You a good boy!!! I'm a fan of yours!!!

Glad to know Rosco isn’t the only one!🙃It takes work - and patience 😬 but hopefully everything will pay off in the end!
You train your maltipoo so well, lovely to see. Great video
I love this! I have a maltipoo that does the exact same thing when we go walking
It’s nice to know Rosco’s not the only one 😀
Cute dogie
Aw cute pup
Thank you!😊
Rosco is a handful! So cute :)

Thank you! :)
hahaha
This was a fun watch. How big is Roscoe? Love from Ghana
He’s about 8 pounds as of now :)
Love your videos my ,mom said we can get a maltipoo when me and my little brother are responsible enough
Yay! That’s exciting!
Nice video
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
I will get this channel to 1k even if it is the last thing I ever do!
Aw thank you!
Does Rosco always bark when he sees another dog or it is after he got a bit older? Mine doesn’t bark at dogs but she is 12 weeks old.
Rosco didn’t bark at all until he was around 4 months or so. The barking at other dogs only started once he got older.
I have a dog but it has been really sad by the way she is a maltipoo, so i've been wondering can you help me with this problem?
What do you mean by she is sad?

Thank you! That’s exciting about your Maltipoo! We haven’t left him home much, but when we do leave we leave him in his crate.
How many times a day do you walk rosco and how many minute ? :)

Did Rosco got trained easily, like he learned fast or it was hard to train him, I’m getting a Maltipoo next month hehe I wanna know

My dog is the same act like rosco
hey i am thinking about getting a maltipoo and i am curious if your maltipoo barks alot?

@@DelightfulPaws but does he bark for no reason when he is at home
Sometimes, but it isn’t a constant thing.
Hi! I recently subbed. I wish i had a dog :(. My mom wont let me get one because my brother is allergic to Dog Hair. :(. BTW. Your dog is so cute!
Can you tell me how much he sheds?🤗Thanks!
That’s too bad. I’ve always wanted a cat but my parents are allergic, so I know what it feels like. Thanks for subscribing ! 😀
@@DelightfulPaws Oh Thanks! Your vids are awesome! Thanks for the heart!
Maltipoos don’t shed! They’re actually hypoallergenic, so who knows, a Maltipoo might work for your brother’s allergies!
@@DelightfulPaws Oh Cool! I Might try to get one after all thes covis stuff is over!
