While I'm getting a "poo" soon (not sure whichmix), I love watching your videos; straight to the point and valuable information! I'll use some of tips. PS - I've been watching Zach George, too!
Thank you! I love your videos about Roscoe. I've been thinking of getting a Maltipoo. Wanted to see the differences from Chiweenies and Dachshunds. You've done very well with your pup!
I saw your video, and we thought, that you have an incredible dog 🐶 and now our family also has a puppy maltipoo. On Friday we will bring him home! Can’t wait to meet him. 🤩🤩🤩 His name will be Lucky 🍀 By the way I am from Moscow Russia Your videos are very helpful 😍
This gives me such hope for my 15 week old Maltipoo. The worst I’m having is eating my pants and feet. This has helped so much and I love Zac George too. What did you do for biting/ nipping. Also do you guys groom him and did you do anything to prepare him?
I'm so glad this could inspire you! Rosco also went through a biting phase. We tried our best to teach him "leave it" by rewarding him with treats when he stopped biting. Thankfully the puppy biting is only a phase :) We groomed Rosco ourselves the first few times. It's definitely a two-person job! We usually give him a kong with peanut butter to keep his mind off the grooming and so he doesn't wiggle as much. Thanks for watching!
Our Maltipo just turned 1 in October, he's pretty spoiled, but he's pretty smart I think one of the problems I was giving him Treats instead of just for rewarding him now he expects treats all the time and he likes to Bark a lot and Bite, but I think he thinks he's only Playing
Hi? Good day. I am getting a maltipoo this month and i always watch your videos. ☺️ I would like to ask you regarding the way they sleep? Can i lock him in the crate or not? Or how can i manage to let him sleep outside the crate? Thanks for your time. God bless. ☺️
Thank you! Rosco sleeps locked in his crate at night in my room so he has company. He really likes his crate. We drape a blanket over the top so it's darker and cozier for him at night. We've never experimented having him sleep in a dog bed, so I'm not sure how that would work out!
@@DelightfulPaws thank you for the reply. ☺️💕 So it is not necessary to not lock him in his crate? How about his bed? If ever you lock him in and he wants to pee or poo will he pee in his bed?
@@sherwindecasa5783 I have a maltipoo puppy as well, so I wanted to share my answer too. You can lock the crate at night to get them used to it being closed. But usually for a 8 week old puppy (most people get puppies at 8 weeks so I'll use that example) you have to take them out to potty every 1-2 hours at night. So for every month old they are, is an hour that they can hold their bladder. Example: 2 months old = hold bladder for 2 hours 3 months old = hold bladder for 3 hours 4 months old = hold bladder for 4 hours You don't have to lock them in their crate, but it could be really good to train them to get used to it being closed. If you'd like to keep the crate open, I recommend having a playpen around the crate so the puppy doesn't get into trouble while unsupervised at night. Puppies don't like to potty where they sleep, so less space in the crate means they'll try to hold their bladder for as long as they can. Some crates come with dividers to make the crate smaller on the inside. Just try to do as much research as possible before bringing home a puppy haha, its a lot of work. Hope this helped though.
Roscoe is so cute! His big sister did a good job. Both of my maltese boys passed recently at 16. Their big aussie sis past before them. It was amazing how she mothered and protected them. I am getting a Maltipoo and he is coming home for Christmas. I am very excited!
Mine too. My little Roxie is the worst and she drags her brother into mischief. It can be frustrating at times but you can’t help but laugh to yourself sometimes.
Rosco Is So CUTE And Clever 💖🍀🐕🤗
Rosco looking adorable as usual! Thank you so much for the video, so helpful!

your so underrated
Hi Julia! Can you also talk about nipping and biting?
I bought a 46 days old maltipoo yesterday I hope he will be like Roscoe
How much pounds do Rosco weigh now? Your videos are great and helpful. I have a 11 week old maltepoo. Her name is Nila
Thank you! He weighs 8 lbs.

Haha, he sounds like a smart dog! 😉
What was the reason for sectioning the crate?
So they wouldn't go potty in their crate.
I’m going to get a maltipoo, do you think he should sleep in a crate in my room or living room?
I recommend in your room since Maltipoos are very attached to their owners.
@@DelightfulPaws ok thank you!

Is Rosco a miniature or toy? I’m getting a maltipoo but I want to get a toy because they are smaller.
He's a toy!

I'm planning on making some training videos in the future, so hopefully those can help you out!

I got a matipoo almost 4 months ago and even though she is a great dog she can be a bit mischievous 😂
Same with Rosco :) he loves getting into trouble!
