    Scotch bonnet chillies are the tastiest chillies you can get, I think! Good on you for growing those beauties, Clair! :)

    Thanks Cyn. I use hydroponic liquid to water them sometimes and also worm casting. All peppers are grown in pots.

      I love your peppers. Did you start them all from the seeds of previous peppers? Did you plant the seeds in the pots?

    • @Clairsadventures
      @Clairsadventures  5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@Verbatim. Sorry I didn't see this post before. Tai, I grew them from seeds that were planted in a pot inside the house during the spring. Then in the late spring to early summer when they are grown enough I pot them individually in larger containers. The main reason I pot them is so that I can control what nutrients they get. I think I mention that I use Hydroponic nutrients about once per week, plus worm castings. I am going to do a video on how to use hydroponic liquid on plants and how it works.

    If you have too many dry them out. I dried mine and put them in the blender and make chilli powder, just be careful when you open the blender as the dust is like inhaling pepper spray! I'm still using chillies in cooking that was grown 2 years ago.

      I am have my peppers indoors under grow lights also. The days are hot here in Georfia but the nights sometimes still go below 40 degrees,. Peppers love temps between 65° to 80°F. I am also using hydroponic liguid on my peppers to help them grow faster. If you have specific questions aabout peppers, please ask.

    Hi. Do you sell the plants. I'm looking for a genuine scotch bonnet pepper plant. Or maybe you can teach how to grow them😄

    • @Clairsadventures
      @Clairsadventures  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Rosalie, Thanks for stopping by. I really have never thought of selling the seeds. I had gotten the purple seeds from my sister on one of my Jamaican visits, others I got from a seed exchange club on the Internet and others from my son's neighbor. You can check Ebay or Amazon for pepper seed sellers. Make sure to check their feedback to see what others are saying before you buy.
