ONE OK ROCK - Delusion:All (Composer Review & Analysis)

This was written taking into account the current political and cultural climate around the world (it's not US specific, remember, this is a Japanese band after all). OOR have many songs that address current issues, and they also write a lot of uplifting lyrics, aimed at young people. They actually started out as an emo teen band in 2005, and they have come such a long way maturing into a great band that wants to convey positive messages to their audience. Their concerts are insanely energetic. They are best experienced live, Taka's voice is even more incredible live. We don't have a live performance recording for this song as yet, but they also released a song called Make It out Alive (an OST to a game) that has a live performance you can check out :) That's also a tight heavier song.

Really happy to see this! I love OOR and wondered if you would ever react to them :) Personally I think that although Delusion:All was written for Kingdom, the lyrics are meant to be general enough to apply to other (real-world) situations. OOR is especially incredible live so if you're looking for recommendations, some great ones that people often react to include Take What You Want (Japan Dome 2018), We Are (18Fes Version), and Renegades (2023 tour)
