I used to stay all night at Danny's house and he would stay all night at mine. His mom would make us breakfast and lunch. We hung out in the basement and played music and he would teach me to draw. He was awesome. A true friend.

I've done bad things to myself, attacked family members, I've been tempted to kill, I've had encounters with police during satanic attacks, and I heard an unforgettable demonic voice earlier. I love knives, I talk to the devil. Don't pay attention to my post a year ago, I was not myself. I just know his story and the drug use and went off basically because I face demons and the devil without drugs. I hope he rests in peace as well.
Daniel Johnson even with all his pain and problems pushed that into his work. He perfectly captivated his torment and pain into works of art that can only be described as a masterpiece. In my opinion he is one of the last true artists, and the world will miss his creativity and him as a person. The world is just that little bit darker without him.

I remember hearing his songs on internet radio back in the early 2000s and being so confused. Pretty quickly, "Cold, Hard World" would not stop repeating itself in my head. From there I fell in love with his art and music. You became a legend Daniel, that's pretty damn cool.
Watched his documentary with brother. His life changed after some a-hole assaulted him and Daniel suffered a brain injury. If your ever attacked report it to authorities and get yourself checked out. I'm not saying maybe life would have not changed or he would have lived longer. Still very talented guy from a person who not necessarily dug his music however enjoyed his story.
