The "competition" is so BIG in this guitar learning world on TH-cam. But I'm happy to help at least someone. I'll eventually get to more and more people as time goes. No worries! Thanks again!
I've been playing guitar for 10 years and mainly learning through TH-cam videos. You are without a doubt the best instructor I have found on the internet!!!
The ONLY problem with these videos is that I can EASILY watch them ALL and never do anything else. :) Steve is an INCREDIBLE teacher! I can literally watch all day long... THANK YOU STEVE!!! GuitarZoom Songs ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
really enjoyed the lesson! your teaching technique makes it easy for novices like myself to learn guitar without having to pay for overly expensive lessons. Thank you very much for sharing your gift with all who view your videos. Great teacher!!!
one of the better teaching video's you have made to teach a song. You broke this down for just about anyone fluently playing ( with patience here :)), or beginning. I am a student, and a teacher to an extent. I myself can only teach what I have mastered. You are loaded with knowledge, and talent.
Thanks, this is definitely one of the best guitar tutorial channels on youtube. You don't show off at the start like others and get straight to the point of the video.
I greatly appreciate this tutorial. I like how you explain everything. Easy to follow, great notes and options for variations. Keep it up bud and keep em coming!
I started playing a little over a year and finding the right teacher ..you are the best on utube ...I subscribed and one of my new year resolution is to the the best guitar and I think you will infact help me
You are one of the best teachers here on TH-cam. I gotta say I learned this song by ear and I was having some issues with that lick in the middle. The way you explain and say things makes it easier. I'm gonna keep watching your vids man and thanks a lot !
Great Instruction. I like the fact that you include all the details and clarify them. I've seen some others on here, but I think you will be my go to now. Thanks!
I love the way you explain your lessons and how chilled out you are. It's great that you tell people to just have fun with it and do what they can and provide a few alternative ways to play things. I've recently got my electric guitar out of the loft after not playing it for a very long time and am thoroughly enjoying learning some things again. Keep up the great videos!

my guess is that the channel is very new (2012 started), so it takes time for videos generate views and thus for the channel to be noticed. There is also more and more "competition" as in more people are putting instructional videos on YT. Actually 770 is not that bad given the amount of time, but i admit, this guy is good and deserves a lot more than this! Doesn't seem like he just started recording vids, strikes me as a pro! Good solid lessons and cam work...
So those lead runs are the major scale pattern. Key of E a full step lower, or Dorian mode Key of E. It seems to make sense now. I was just trying to figure out how these musicians find their lead runs, and how they know it would work. Learning more everyday.

Someone told me this was an easy song to learn. It may be easy for them, but that fast palm muting power chord part in the intro is proving difficult for me. I get it “right” about 1 time out of 5, and I’m so stoked when I do get it right that I totally forget about what comes next. The way you’re showing how to play it is giving me enough confidence to keep trying, and it’s greatly appreciated.

Steve, thanks for this great lesson! you rock as a teacher AND a guitar player!!
I've been learning off of TH-cam for a while either from mike gross Marty Schwartz or guitar lessons 365 but this guy..... I like this guy
Great videos really helpful!! Love the blocks system though do you mind adding bookmarks for each block so its easier to come back another day n skip through the blocks??
Thanks :D
