    Very good paint job. Especially if one keeps in mind that the tank is just... well... green!

    The shark-faced KV-2 Turret reminds me of the decals/accessories in War Thunder.

    Less derpy? Why would I want to do that?! To gulag with you!
    Anyway, the toothy-face is known as a ‘shark mouth’, seen on most armies’ vehicles WW2 and onward. The most famous examples are from the planes of the US volunteer squadron in the Chinese Air force during WW2; the famous Flying Tigers.

    Why are my flames of war paints so thin even if I shake them for 5 minutes?

    • @HerbertErpaderp
      @HerbertErpaderp  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have no idea. Thin paint isn't bad. Unless it's TOO thin?

    How do you avoid the acrylic washes leaving tidemarks? For every mixture i've tried so far i've had to babysit the model for an hour and constantly re-apply water to avoid the wash drying in weird patterns on flat surfaces... Is there a specific paint or thinner that avoids this?

    • @HerbertErpaderp
      @HerbertErpaderp  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You might be applying it too thick or heavily? it might even have something to do with the climate wherever you are. I try to do those washes in thin layers, you can always build them up over multiple coats if they're not dark enough.

    Why is my russian green so different than your's? I have this problem with nearly all my vallejo paints:(

    • @ennisanderson2719
      @ennisanderson2719 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wujek Сталин I believe that the paint you're using is sold ready to airbrush. Just put some in a small pallet and let it set for a while. It will thicken up as it drys so you can paint more easily. Simple as that ! Happy Modeling ......

      @HerbertErpaderp  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It could be down to differences in how screens represent colour. However, I've had bottles of Model Air Russian Green that are slightly different shades from each other, which is a bit annoying. I've only seen that with the russian green myself.
      Personally I'm not too worried about it unless I'm trying to match something previously painted with the Russian Green. I have my doubts that the Soviets were particularly picky about exact shades of green.

    • @ennisanderson2719
      @ennisanderson2719 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Herbert Erpaderp. One thing to remember especially when it comes to 4Bo is that one batch of paint won't ever be the same. That's just the way paints are. Because of mixing no matter what you won't ever get two batches the same. That's why you see the same paint be different colors.
