- Suit Yourself
The Goods decide to use their new loom to make cloth. Tom becomes the proud owner of a bright green woollen suit.
Jerry becomes involved in a fight to become JJM's new Managing Director.
Snetterton was played by Philip Madoc who will go down in TV comedy history as having played the German U-boat commander who asked Pike for his name in ' Dads' Army '.
That's right 😆, i know i knew his face from somewhere 👏👍
Margo looked absolutely stunning inn that black dress and her hair pushed back, gorgeous
She's still a handsome woman.
Agreed. She always had an angry nose, sadly.
the man with the bald head was in an episod of fawlty towers. he was in the bar area of the hotel, shouting at mr fawlty about wanting his gin and orange.
Good GOD!!
I want Margo in my corner!
Reginald Marsh was so right for the role of
“Sir”. Fabulous casting. His “Good God” reaction to Tom’s suit still lives in my memory decades later.
Absolutely priceless.
I totally agree 😂
Another classic featuring the late great Richard Briers.
Another example of what great comedy used to be like.
Yes indeed 🙂, all gone now as orchestrated by the weirdo lefties n the dodgy BBC ---bloody lefty socialist communist brigade !! All fun in the world has gone now. It's a bleak future for comedy n fun in England n UK. 🤫😔
"people have to take me as they find me"
"WE certainly always have, Mr Snetterton"
Classic Margo!
Ted and Fatima. ha!
"You left it in our garden didn't you, you great daft penguin?!?"
@MrsJosephMerrick "I don't vant any nasty soggy chips, i like them crisp unt light brown"
the guy playing Snetty is also the person who Played the U-Boat captain in the Dads Army episode The Deadly Attachment
Your name vill go in ze list!
incredible writing
@Welshman2008 Yes he is!!! Its def the best ep of DA, It ALWAYS makes me laugh, dont jmatter how many times you see it. I like his fish and chip order - hes great! :)
@goombabear
Better late than never. Those whom matter will always be in short supply, whilst those of your ilk, whom are good for nothing, will always be eternal.
Next to Lucy and the medicine commercial, and WKRP's Thanksgiving turkey drop, this is perhaps the most hilarious episode in the history of television.
Hey Snetterton is Phillip Murdoc!!
He was dead funny in Porridge and Dad's Army(the bit with the "don't tell him Pike"!) !
I love Snetterton's wild shirt and huge bowtie...quintessentially 70's. And I think Snetterton might be, you know, afterall LOL!
i like the suit :DD. thks for posting!
Good GOD,........how proud he looked in his suit Still laughing.
@mikefargus Snetterton...you bet he "is"
Margo and Jerry have the wicker version in their kitchen.
Lol❤
certainly turned heads with his green suit and not only snetty in dads army and porridge but also got blown up in the shed by the darleks not the best hiding place from the karled eterminators

Until now, at least.
The actor playing Andrew is fantastic.

Perfect for ringing in the new year!
Happy 2022, to all! 🍾💥🥂🥂
