Cellular memory has always been a fascinating concept to me. I’ve heard stories about people picking up habits that their donors had, or suddenly acquiring a taste for their donor’s favorite foods. If I recall correctly, there was even a case where a girl who received a heart transplant testified in court positively identifying her donor’s murderer because she remembered the incident. Granted, it’s been almost two decades since I had to research this stuff, so exact details are fuzzy, but the idea has stuck with me.
It seems odd that any court would let testimony from a donor be used as evidence. Especially if the only evidence was, I got a transplant from this person and now I know who killed them. Not very reliable and sure as hell not scientific
@@Jlowrey8 As I said, I don’t recall the specifics or if it even was actually taken to court. (My faulty memory tells me that’s how it went.)Just that the girl was able to recognize the suspect in her donor’s murder from nightmares she’d been having about it.

Rob covering the Elisa Lam case was my first dive into true crime, and it has been years. Seeing the growth of the channel, the change in Rob to be a better person, it's all been such a journey. I'm glad I can come back and watch those old seriously strange episodes for nostalgia
Suspicious footprints leading from the forest directly to the house that do not go around or back, also blatantly hearing noises in the attic.. yea probably nothing.
Awesome Rob- I love your topics stories. They may be disturbing and different, but the more you put out, the more I have to watch. The new stuff the old stuff. You are the very first person I subscribed to when I joined TH-cam.

Rob this video was great! Loved the format and that it was a marathon, to call it that way. Your channel was one of the first I subscribed and during this whole time, I've been enjoying the content you post and your work (including your team). I'm happy to see you pushing against the challenges. Dammit... I might make a RAID! SHADOW LEGENDS!!!!!! account and play to help the channel 😂
Thank you Rob for everything you do. I remember being in 6th grade and your videos keeping me up all night. Then i would watch WWYPTOTI (which at that age, I SHOULD NOT HAVE) and laugh so much that my parents thought I was crazy. Im 19 now and I'm glad you still make these videos.
The way that he's sped up the footage/cut out the pauses to speed things along is the perfect embodiment of, in university, when profs ask you to write a 1700-word essay and right before submission say "Great, now cut it down to 350-words" and you're clipping sentences, euphemisms, explanations and constantly rereading to make sure the narrative is still intact.
I've been listening to you for a long time. You have the perfect voice for this. Thank you for all you do. Don't get tired of us. Keep up the good work.
Hey Rob good to see a new vid my friend. All these stories are absolutely unbelievable &heartbreaking 🤦♀️💔 So sad. Great job telling these horrific stories. 👍👏💗 God bless 👑🙏🏻🕊💜💜
I've recently dived back into watching your videos, and my seven month old gets so happy and starts laughing whenever you are speaking. I'm not sure if he's inherited my dark sense of humor, or just the love of your deep sweet sultry voice. Either way, your videos are now on repeat in our household.
I love your videos. A friend of mine shared a link to one of one of your videos a few years ago and been hooked since. Also every Oct. I binge watch a lot of them for Halloween season (At night for the best creepy effect) Never stop making them Rob.
The transplant story actually scares the fuck out of me since I received a new kidney/liver combo back in 2017, I have read a good amount of cases like this the strangest being that the donor played a specific instrument and the recipient didn't but got the urge to try that said instrument randomly and ended up picking it up super super fast. Instead of learning the way or normal person would learn something new his teacher said it was like watching someone that knew how to play already but hadn't played in a few years if that makes sense the way I worded it.
I’ve been following Rob for years! I remember when he first made a video on Elisa Lam and I was so scared it brought tears to my eyes! They actually did a documentary on it recently, it’s on Netflix! Apparently the person who found her closed the water tank door and it was reported that it was closed! It actually makes so much sense now! That case bothered me for yearrrs until that documentary!! Still some very peculiar coincidences though!
What somebody oughta do is put together a large amount of drones to map the Catacombs. Flying drones have been used to map caves, and could easily do so in the Catacombs.
Rob, you forgot that they were trapped in a rotten log! Then stuff their gullet till they were streaming vomit through every orifice. Then toss the stuffed, poor bastard in a filthy bog. Terrible fate!
It turned out that Elisa Lam had likely fallen into the tank when trying to hide from hallucinations, as she had stopped taking her prescribed medication and her mind started to go. Also the man who found her later admitted that the hatch was actually open when he arrived.
Thank you Rob, for sharing these stories and explaining them in details. You do a superb job!!! 👍👍 These stories are indeed very scary and weird, being the catacomb story the most terrifying in my opinion. My goodness you can get lost inside that place where no one can find you. And forget it about using a cell phone down there……most likely it will be uselessly. But the story of an insane woman who strangled the woman being pregnant, it is disgusting, detestable and barbaric 100%. I failed to understand what a human being is capable to do to another person, it is beyond my comprehension. WOW. This sick woman should have being locked up long time ago in an asylum for the mentally disturbed …….maybe this horrific and abominable crime might have never happened. The brutality of the crime itself warrants the death penalty for her……she might have been mentally sick, but she knew what she was doing and wanted for herself and went out of her way to get it. SMH I am speechless. This case sent chills down my spine. Very sad case and really tragic.
As an update and I hope I'm not stepping on Rob's toes: Lisa Montgomery was executed by shortly after midnight on January 13, 2021, having exhausted the appeals process. IF there can be justice for the murdered woman; there it is.
I've followed Rob for many years and I think doing these compilations are a great idea. I enjoy revisiting these older cases. Thank you Rob.

Rob, I love your videos, and I adore your narration style and delivery. Always a pleasure to see a new video from you!
Yay! My favourite TH-camr is back! 🥰 Love your style and content Rob

I saw the notification for this video and was like , yes a Rob video,.I have found out that I have missed a heap of your videos. I'm still subscribed and the bell still has the all notifications on active, idk what the problem with TH-cam is.
I'm going to have a catch up day for your videos today.
Love your videos, thank you and the team for making them 💛
It made my whole week when I saw this video was uploaded. I watch them over and over each day. Never get tired of them. Thank you for what you do!!! Please never stop!

Thanks for posting when I had a sucky day at work! Makes me appreciate that much more! Love your work and content for years now 💓💓💓
I do enjoy this channel! Just like how you deliver your stories. Very interestingly creepy
I love this and I’m so thrilled rob is posting again. I needed the friend who doesn’t know we’re friends back
Just clicked and I'm already getting chills
Until the Raid ad barges in and ruins the mood completely.😑
Rob covering the Elisa Lam case was my first dive into true crime, and it has been years. Seeing the growth of the channel, the change in Rob to be a better person, it's all been such a journey. I'm glad I can come back and watch those old seriously strange episodes for nostalgia
Suspicious footprints leading from the forest directly to the house that do not go around or back, also blatantly hearing noises in the attic.. yea probably nothing.
It's 4 am and this popped up in my notifications. So stoked that this was uploadeded. Thank you.!
Magnificent work as always, thanks Rob ♥️
Awesome Rob- I love your topics stories. They may be disturbing and different, but the more you put out, the more I have to watch. The new stuff the old stuff. You are the very first person I subscribed to when I joined TH-cam.
I’ve had to pregnancy’s and both times I was paranoid. I wasnt meeting anyone for selling stuff on Facebook..and after worker I was on guard. As a true crime fan, I’m always on guard.
Omg baby Rob 😂 such old videos but I'm here for it. always here to support you Rob 😊
You're the best Rob. You're channels have always been super entertaining. I appreciate you and your team a lot. xx
By the way, Number 1 is what I was talking about. That video has freaked me out for YEARS, and now its back. That video deserves to be number 1
I started watching WWYPTOTI back in like 10th grade or sumthin and now I'm 24... never leaving now, plus his content always top notch haha
@@hazardousmatter2 but I remember some of these fr scaring me throughout the years. I've definitely got a habit of locking every door thx to Rob
@@xtraderpy9242 He is one of the few channels that I have watched from the beginning of my youtube journey.
@@xtraderpy9242 most definetly
The way that he's sped up the footage/cut out the pauses to speed things along is the perfect embodiment of, in university, when profs ask you to write a 1700-word essay and right before submission say "Great, now cut it down to 350-words" and you're clipping sentences, euphemisms, explanations and constantly rereading to make sure the narrative is still intact.
Great to see you Rob! I used to watch Matthew Santoro for “Creepy Facts.” But he left TH-cam.
God bless 👑🙏🏻🕊💜💜
I've recently dived back into watching your videos, and my seven month old gets so happy and starts laughing whenever you are speaking. I'm not sure if he's inherited my dark sense of humor, or just the love of your deep sweet sultry voice. Either way, your videos are now on repeat in our household.
This feels like the old episodes that I loved so much !! The new episodes aren’t as creepy they are just different not the same .
That's because these are the old videos... just put in a list.
I love your videos. A friend of mine shared a link to one of one of your videos a few years ago and been hooked since. Also every Oct. I binge watch a lot of them for Halloween season (At night for the best creepy effect) Never stop making them Rob.
Oh man a Gavagan video to close the evening out? Yes, please and thank you! 🙌👏👏👏
Thanks for the "new" video. Really hoping for something actually new soon...
Awesome Rob keep up the fantastic work. Much love, from the UK!
Don't worry, that theory has no basis whatsoever in reality.
Yea I’m sure it’s more likely the wife played a role in the killings and not a malicious organ with a vendetta
The good thing with this compilation is we get to remember when we saw it the first time and see how it is still the best content ever.
Something I always admired about Rob is that he doesn't rely on cheap jumpscares to creep us out. His content is some of the best out there
What somebody oughta do is put together a large amount of drones to map the Catacombs. Flying drones have been used to map caves, and could easily do so in the Catacombs.
I’ve been a subscriber for 8 years now. Your videos are the best❤
I hope no one in my family gets murdered. I’d be accused of it. My whole bookshelf is full of murder and crimes of people.
I followed this channel since 2015/16 and the evolution and development of the storylines has been so good to see
Rob, you forgot that they were trapped in a rotten log! Then stuff their gullet till they were streaming vomit through every orifice. Then toss the stuffed, poor bastard in a filthy bog. Terrible fate!
So happy to see you again!!! One of my favorite yt'er!!!!
17 days of laying in your own shit, and being eaten by bugs? That's pretty damn bad.
I haven't received any notifications of Rob's stuff in a long time! So excited to see you're posting-- missed your shows so much!!!
Always happy when Daddy Rob uploads... Especially at night
Raddy dob
Yay! Love being reminded of previous cases that you've covered.
The detail about the seven year old girl pulling her hair out, most likely due to seeing her family hacked and bludgeoned, is so disturbing to me.
Omg yes! A new rob video is the best surprise I've gotten all day.
It turned out that Elisa Lam had likely fallen into the tank when trying to hide from hallucinations, as she had stopped taking her prescribed medication and her mind started to go. Also the man who found her later admitted that the hatch was actually open when he arrived.
I'm so glad to see a new video from you!! I binge-watched your channel during Covid. I've been a fan for years!
🥰
I love the music. Honestly takes me back to watching these videos in study hall back in high school.
Someone needs to make a horror movie that has scaphism in the story. That sounds like a awful way to go.
I love your videos so much. I hope you get to do more videos in the future!!
I will never forget the Angie Housman story, poor little angle.
180 or 90 degrees?
