Great tutorial, I did this swap on my ‘99 with Lasfit LED’s. The smaller bulbs are a size 74, I’d recommend swapping those out so you don’t have to do it again in the future. But don’t put LED’s for those though, I’ve heard about people having issues by changing those indicator lights out for LED’s.
did you ever figure out what that circle thing was when you first pulled the dash? I just did this on my 01 Explorer using green LED's it looks amazing in green!
Reminds me Of my old Isuzu pup. I had the dash torn out so was easy to work on the heater and cluster 😂 just clip the zip ties and put new ones one when you are done
It is the scangauge2. I had it in my jetta. You plug it into the obd2 and supposedly you can read engine codes with it and whatnot. I just use it for my rpm’s, and water temp and volts. Till I can get some gauges for the puller pod I got. Read about it online it’s pretty cool. I lost the directions for it though.

Would the hyper blink be fixed by replacing the flasher relay?
I have found on forums that the 194 bulbs are larger and only fit 2003 and earlier model rangers. 74 size would be for 2004+

Nope never dug deeper into it. But left it since it’s not effecting anything. Haha. Post a video and tag me I’m curious what it would look like.

Where did you buy the lights at
Just some cheap ones off of Amazon. I would for sure spend a little more on them cause there are some dark spots since they are super cheap bulbs.
