well its getting around that time that people are gonna start seeing more heirlooms. personally ive gotten almost 450 apex packs so far, (bought 100 since s0 + battlepasses & events) and i havent even done everything there is to do
Respawn should add a option to scrap content from boxes for a small amount of metal. ex: you got a legendary fuse skin from a pack, you can choose to keep it or scrap for 200 metal. or at least they should add more ways to get packs from ranked wins or idk, holosprays, charms, voice lines.. there are so many useless stuff in a game that already has a overpriced system..

I don't get why people complain about how "overpriced" this game is though. I've spent a total of $10 on the game, yet I have enjoyed 50+ days of playtime. Never once did I think I needed to spend money to have a good time.
If you can still get an heirloom or if they count towards getting an heirloom then they're slightly redeemable, still mostly pointless though If they change it so you can ONLY get charms/holosprays from these packs and can't get them from normal packs then that'd be a lot better
i could see them being used as lesser rewards on some events, also the more of those packs you get the less of a chance you get a holospray in a normal pack as well, its a weird trade-off, but i hate to say that i don't actually trust respawn to use them in a way that would be so fair
It would be so much better if they divided the cosmetics into their own designated packs. Have weapons cosmetic only packs, legend cosmetic only packs, holospray only packs, etc. This way we can have a slightly better choice in what we get rather than getting excited over seeing a legendary for it to only be a banner frame on a legend you never play.

But ea steped in and forced there hand and that's why the game was hell for 3-4 years tell the games life ended it was actually good enough for fans to say I like the game.

As if shilling 80-160$ per event is not enough, being *rewarded* with crappy sprays until the last pack to get the last legendary skin just sucks. Opening regular packs - get these endless common trackers , sh&tty rare holosprays etc. Last 4 legendaries i opened were f-ing frame , banner , holospray and crafting mats - so pog /s.
They could do the smart thing of making it so that the only way to get holosprays is through this new holospray pack to help players get the cosmetics that they want however knowing respawn they probably wont
maybe it works by taking holo sprays out of the normal apex pack pool so you don't get holosprays from normal packs , but that idea seems to reasonable so it probably won't happen
if they do this they need to add fan made holo sprays that we can submit, cause they are useless this would had a little fun to it, having your own design in your favourite game would be dope
