I’m actually using similar set up in bathroom, I went with hi resolution laminate counter tops! The deep texture and feel is very similar to granite! Very cost friendly as well! I paid 150 for L: 8ft x w: 25 5/8
I did my kitchen a year and a half ago, and the quartz countertop was four or five times more than a quality, laminate countertop. And that's not include installation. I had to do laminate, there was no way I could afford the courts, even though I loved it.
Granite does not help resale especially since granite can look dated. White countertops 10 yrs from now may be something buyers will rip out. Put in what you like and enjoy it.
Ewwwwwww lol!!!!!! Quartz is already fake and people look down on it lol let alone Laminates! Sorry but that’s a waste of time lol. Whoever will buy it - will 100% replace it ASAP. It’s just so outdated lmao and fake.
I love it. I grew up with laminate. Natural stone is too stressful. I have a nice gneiss countertop. My sister has marble. With kids, they’re both just extra stress.
Very short sighted opinion…also depends on where you live as you want value for your money and to not invest dollars you won’t get back…this may have made sense for these homeowners and it looks beautiful…laminate has come a long way.
This is the look that I want to go for in my new “Fixer Upper!” Thank you for sharing just how beautiful they are in a real kitchen. Stunning
How's it going with the updates?

Kitchen is a bit small for that island to be inside. I think they should’ve left it out. It’s to small and placement looks odd
I totally agree....
It look like corrian.
I mean it definitely looks like laminate. You can tell without touching it. But it looks nice

I have had laminate countertops for 32 years and I am in my kitchen using them at least eight hours a day. They are great!
